Grooving areas, sunken living rooms, conversation pits -- call them what you will, I have always had a soft spot for these. I don't even know why. No one I knew had anything like that in their house, so maybe it just seemed cool and "other" and therefore desirable? Or maybe it's because it reminds me of the mall. Anyway, I still think they're cool as hell.

Okay, but why can't we have sunken pits for people to sit around an groove in anymore?
