Favourite narrative dissonance:
Heartfelt, tragic conversation with Avicinda in prison, about his disillusionment, about how he was ready to latch onto the first sign that he was chosen by the Wishing One, about how he sees himself as a joke for being so naive and stupid, and Nikki encouraging him that essentially now that he's reached his lowest point he is at the greatest potential for real change and growth.
Then just... turn around and shrink to teeny tiny size in pyjamas and ride away on my weird cat friend.
I love this game.
