... although this reminds me of errortale's intended ending where error just... disappears forever, never to be seen again. does stage 1 killer feel so remorseful that he forces himself to stay away from color forever? because it's best if they're never together at all. imagine color one day just wakes up and killer is gone. he leaves no goodbye, because he fears color will try to look for him if he says where he is and how he feels. actually, i don't know if killer will leave a goodbye letter or not. i don't think he's a very open person who talks about his sincere feelings. maybe he just puts an ominous "sorry. i shouldn't have whisked you away from your home. thank you for everything"

Tbh I don’t want killer to disappear either 😔. Would he try to go back to color if he ends up in stage 2 again, or would he warn color to run while he can? or to just get away from him?

because killer knows color won’t kill him—he won’t even do it if he went stage 3 or 4 on him. and maybe he doesn’t want to put color in that position.

i wonder if he’d take anything that reminds him of color to try and maintain that feeling of safety and happiness—that positivity—to keep him in Stage 1, or would he feel so ashamed that not even that can make him feel anything positive—that he doesnt deserve it anyway. he probably requests that color take care of the cats, then probably apologizes for asking more of him.

i wonder how color would react. panic? grief? guilt? relief? would he want killer back, like the last time they were separated. kinda like the sunk cost fallacy—they’ve already put so much into eachother, they can’t give up now.

or would it become a situation where, before killer can get himself to leave—stage 2 decides to start suppressing the hell out of Stage 1, and perhaps convinces Color to help him do so. By telling him what he was planning on doing, maybe?

Convince Color that its all the results of self destructive behavior, and Color now has to monitor Killer to make sure he doesn’t kill himself—while also justifying or excusing what killer is doing to killer himself, having to reassure stage 1 that he’s okay, he’s not hurting him, that there’s nothing to worry about, that he’s not mad or hurt. Regardless of if it’s true or not.

Maybe this is the point where color genuinely embraces the “boss” role being forced on him—because now he has to, to keep killer safe from himself. and then fully takes control of the relationship somehow, out of perceived need to. and perhaps he of course wields his power in a more “constructive” or “kinder” way than Chara or Nightmare.

so basically color has no choice but to become a “carewhumper” to killer 😔.

I wonder how this whole thing would play out with/for Stages 3 and 4 actually. What’s killer think about all of this in these stages.

[ ASK GAME ] || Thank you! The function in question was celebrating my grandpa & brothers birthdays (my grandfathers was last week & my brother's is tomorrow). Its basically over now but that's besides the point.

1.) What’s your para’s biggest motivation? How would they react if this motivation was challenged by the narrative (someone kidnapps the person they’ve been fighting for or the person whose death they’ve been avenging is actually alive or they find out the goal they achieved isn’t enough to compensate the trouble they went through etc)?

Ozzie's (@madasacrow) main motivation is not being in so much fucking pain all the time!! My man just has really bad chronic pain 😭 He built his actuators to help him walk/alleviate that pain, but unfortunately they malfunctioned and told him to do crime 😔. Once he gets his inhibitor chip fixed he's like. the chillest guy ever lol these 2 images basically sum him up:

4.) Does your para’s emotions drive or hinder them when it comes to trying to achieve their goals? Do they view their emotions as a strength or weakness? Do they view emotions in others as a strength or weakness?

Wendy's (@fractured-fables) emotions drive her SO MUCH. She just wants to find her brothers and bring them home safe. Her love for her brothers fules her and she thinks its a strength — she loves them and so she must be brave for them. Typical older sister stuff I guess. She also views others emotions as a strength and tbh now that I think about it, is probably very emotionally intelligent.

7.) What vices get in the way of your para’s motivations drive and goals? Do they overcome them or learn to cope with them at any point in the narrative? Is there a moral lesson about your para’s vices in relation to their goals or does it just exist for angst?

Macbeth's main vice would probably be his pride. He can't be wrong. Glitch has to be right. He's been working with her for so long now, has hurt so many people, that it's sort of a sunk cost fallacy situation.

Glitch & Macbeth's relationship is very unhealthy/toxic, but once Macbeth breaks free of Glitch's control (literally she is mind controlling him), he has a VERY BAD panic attack & existential crisis. The fact that he's in a video game is new information to him!! He's learning he did all this bad shit and THEN told that his actions lowkey don't have consequences. but he still feels bad. I haven't really thought about what he'd be like past becoming Matthew (Beta!Macbeth/him on earth ii) but he probably doesn't log in as much and helps False Moon occasionally.

13.) How does achieving success make you feel? What about failure? Are you able to sit comfortably with feelings of success? Are you able to sit comfortably with the feelings of failure?

Alice Rose (@madasacrow) is nearly never satisfied. No matter how successful she is, she can always pick it apart and think of ways to do things better. Failure is worse for her. With success, she can at least smile and wave and do the song and dance of congratulations etc. With failure? She has to sit with it. Confront that whatever it is that she failed at, admit that she isn't perfect. It hurts and is a massive blow to her ego, even if she hides it well.

16.) What would you say your motivation is and why is it your motivation? How much does it effect your day to day life? How much does it effect big life decisions? Does this motivation effect or define things like your morality values etc.?

Glitch: I want Calypso dead! Why? Why ever not? He's an annoying loudmouth that doesn't give a shit about his actions. I'm just trying to help everyone out here! It really is unfortunate how much time it takes up, when I could be spending it on better things, like enjoying being the best.

19.) Does the end justify the means in terms of your motivation? Are you willing to do anything to achieve success or will you only obtain it through certain means (within the bounds of the law, only hurting people you think deserve it, etc)?

Harlow (@madasacrow): Yes. I will be the most terrifying thing Prism Pulse has ever seen, even if I have to die to do it. I don't care how many laws I break, or who gets hurt. Okay, I care a little. Everyone who follows The Reverend is on my hit list, and apparently, that's most of the city, so. To each her own.

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

bsd: gonna shock everyone i know..... nikolai :) his vibes are just impeccable. i love his whole view of life and what he does in hopes to achieve his impossible goal. i love that he's crazy cuuhraaaayyzeeee asylum but also is he. keeping us on our toes. and most importantly he is FUN every time he's around you can't help but have a good time even tho he's like, gruesomely murdering someone (i mean for me it's also part of the fun but eh)

fire emblem: ferdinand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he is just. ough. he is so dear to me. he fills my heart with joy and warmth i can't explain it. he has such a good and lovely arc and despite suffering and losing so much he remains positive through it all and tries his best to help others. and he's also just! very fun! like with nikolai every time he's on screen is just enjoyable, usually p funny, or very touching :')

persona: akechi. he makes me insane. esp in royal he's a very well written and interesting character imo, his motivations are illogical in a logical way (as in. they're illogical but you can perfectly understand why), he is so so tragic. and once again like the last 2, he is just so so fun, esp in third sem where he lets loose and becomes more violent and vulgar and sassy :)

tbh i wasn't sold on fyolai at first (which is probably shocking to those who haven't followed me when i first got into bsd lol) but creantzy's art convinced me of it ngl :P also the anthology art bc i mean. yeah

R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?

dazai and atsushi........ hits me very deep in my soul........... it's so dear to me it means so much to me............ i can't even put it in words bc it simply makes me overflow with too much emotion at once

ig when it comes to fandoms. one big pet peeve i have is the amount of negativity ppl have around the source material?

criticism is valid and understandable and no media is free of it, but some people really spend almost all their time in a certain fandom doing nothing but hating it and its creator (biggest example is the bnha fandom is 2017ish. i swear most posts i saw abt it were hate posts from people who were still following the manga religiously)

not to mention the version of this that's like ignoring canon completely and making up new personalities for the characters in an attempt to make them non-problematic and such. pls just make ocs

like at some point i can't help but wonder why they're still reading it?? please move on to different things? if not for your own well being then for other fans bc i don't wanna see your negativity when i'm trying to be excited over smth i like 😭

(also true abt ppl who hate a character/ship and spend more time talking abt how much they hate it than talking abt the ones they do like, or worse, leaving mean comments on posts/fics made by ppl who do like it. yes that includes "problematic" ships or characters. complaining here and there is chill ofc but you gotta move on at some pointtttttt just block the tags or ppl who post a lot of it come on)

but fr it's mostly for you. esp if you're someone who doesn't have a lot of free time, why are you spending so much of it on something you're not even enjoying? i just don't get it 😔 you shouldn't take sunk cost fallacy into account when it comes to your joy i think
