Contell Ren would be much gloomier than his Devildom version.

The Devildom broke something in him - the constant stress of being prey for literally everyone around emphasised his lack of self-preservation and allowed him to disregard his own safety until his new family finally made him consider that aspect again. What this phase left though was his directness and drive to do things instead of being a pushover, with a lot of playfulness and light trolling. Devildom send him through a rollercoaster but also opened him to accept the attention and appreciation he needed from his favourite demons.

Summoner!Ren wouldn't have that experience that pushed him past his boundaries. He'd be much less energetic, much more withdrawn and guarded. He probably wouldn't be playful at all and would definitely try to stay in the background instead of actually trying to bond. Inherently, nothing much would change in his passiveness or apathy. Any form of attachment would probably be much slower and also... unwelcome. The last thing he wants is to get attached to anyone. But like in case his Devildom original, his defense would fall apart if exposed to The Tsundere of the game, just much less openly affectionately.

(This was my experience first entering every fandom hehe although as always, there are exceptions 😉)

MDZS: 4/10 the plot is just so centered around wangxian and there are few side characters for people to argue about, it also requires a certain level of media literacy to appreciate, leaving the only real argument material on whether characters deserved their suffering or not (Lan Xichen & Jin guangyao) *Clears throat* ANYWAY

TGCF is a solid 8/10, you’d think it would have the least toxic fan base, considering it is the only one rated 13+ and has the most characters. You’d be wrong! oh my goodness gracious why are there 13 people in a room brawling over this rare pair?! Cute ar—OH MY GOD MY EYES 😨 JAJSSHJSHSD, the chillest people in this fandom are the cute plushie cute character crowd, and those are in every fandom [I love u tgcf but man, your fans are like xz and ny temples at the lantern ceremony…. Devoted to competing]

Svsss is a 3/10 and I know what you’re thinking, “but op, everyone either hates or adores svsss!! They have so many haters” and you’d be right, but I have one thing to say. Svsss enjoyers have mastered the art of never prolonging altercations, crowd from outside goes “what is this trash?!” And they answer “ ok sy have a nice trip! 👋🤭” and nobody inside the fandom shames eachother’s ship or other choices because they know, anyone who enjoys svsss is a FREAK, complete freak, and nobody wants to get dunked on first. it would be like kinkshaming at a bdsm club LMAO

(All three will in fact send you to the hospital if you say anything bad about their main ship though, but mostly tgcf… DEAD ON SIGHT8

Hello, I'm here to ask about my favourite RWBY au of yours, the Summon mentor au. Specifically, each characters personality change thanks to their mentor, like how different the character's personality from the Canon

Starting from the top...

Ruby Rose - Death

To be perfectly honest, I can't see Ruby being all too different from normal. However, she might be a different, more mature person in the future, considering her mentor is Death himself.

Weiss Schnee - Alucard

When you get to the basics, both Alucard and Weiss have a lot in common. Both of them are children of illustrious and well-known families, and both have a strained relationship, if any at all, with their tyrannical and downright evil fathers. So I think the training Weiss receives will be a mixture of fencing and swordplay sprinkled with a little bit of self-reassurance practices to remind her that she is not her father.

Blake Belladonna - Ezio Auditore da Firenze

I feel like thanks to a much more mature Ezio is teaching Blake, he knows how to bring out the best in her, especially since he's already got plenty of experience teaching students just like her before. As a result, I feel like Blake is going to be much more efficient with her stealth, as well as more versatile in her arsenal and tactics.

Yang Xiao Long - Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka

Considering Yang is already the most destructive member of Team RWBY, having the Ork warboss to end all warbosses as her mentor isn't going to do much to pull her back from her collateral damage. She just might start as many fights as she can just so she can get into the thrill of the fight. And if she loses, then that just means she didn't hit hard enough, right?

Jaune Arc - Po

Unless Po has seriously changed in the upcoming fourth movie, Jaune is pretty much going to be just like him. He's kinda put on a couple pounds (not as much as Po, of course), and has found a way to convert what he eats into fuel for his martial arts. He's also not going to be using his sword for a lot in this version, but he still has it.

Nora Valkyrie - Reinhardt Wilhelm

Looking at Reinhardt's previous student, Brigitte, I can imagine Nora shifting from heavy artillery to focus a little more on her defense. The hammer stays, though. And not only does it stay, it gets an upgrade. One that it's sure to knock Grimm socks off! ...if they wore socks.

Pyrrha Nikos - Kratos

Kratos was a leader of many a military company and has spent much time as a father-figure of sorts, both to his own kids as well as Pandora. These all add up to a mentor who teaches Pyrrha how to wield every weapon she can, but masters the most dangerous and most effective one; herself. So we have a Pyrrha is both sure of herself and acting as a jack-of-all-trades.

Lie Ren - Zaraki Kenpachi

Ren may not look like too different from his original iteration, but this boy has scars from how intense his training can get. In fact, his whole combat routine is simply "fight the biggest one". It sometimes scares Nora with how reckless he can get, especially when she's been the one to provide first aid on more than one occasion.

I finally did it! After 9 months of hiatus, WE’RE BACK with demon!Ben and grumpy!Rey.

All six existing chapters on AO3 have been completely revised - and I’ve just posted the seventh, my first update since October.

I expect I’ll be working on this one for the rest of the year, if not longer. She’s CHONKY. She’s THICC. She’s going places I don’t think most people will expect. And I’m so excited to be working on her again.

-Ren is a bartender. They’re very confused on how they’re allowed to be or even how they got mistaken as one because they’re 17. But according to Ellie, Starshell has a heavy drinking culture and people can drink when they’re 16. So it’s not unusual

-Ren likes serving drinks and the gacha sword takes place as a mixer.

Rosalily Academy

-A highschool for performing arts, creativity and sports

-Ren is in the gender neutral school uniform and they have the gymnastics badge on.

-Their gacha sword takes place as a pencil. They’re not fond of this world because it’s too similar to their home world.

Xkour

-A futuristic city based on parkour

-Ren is in the games uniform

-Their sword takes the place of headphones and they like the world at first because they get to jump and flip around.

Xkour Skylines

-Above the Xkour

-Ren is in a gymnastic uniform with a cool jacket so they easily past the trials

-There sword this time, is a bracelet that enhances their abilities cause they’re gonna need all the help they can get. Ren likes the skylines because they find the challenges fun.

Elementia

-A place that keeps watch of elemental power.

-Ren is dressed like a dark element but could easily be mistaken for a wind unit.

-The sword is the headpiece on their head. Ren thinks this world is pretty but their magic is limited to only using dark attacks as well as units.

Dreamscape (Chibion)

-A world that watches over dreams.

-Ren is dressed like a sheep.

-Ren’s sword is a the bell on their choker. They use it to help navigate wheee the pieces are. Ren likes being a sheep and floating.

Vinyl City

-A city that has a vast culture of lights, performance art, art and food.

-Ren is dressed as a ballerina.

-Ren doesn’t like being dressed as a ballerina as they use to be one. They don’t enjoy being in Vinyl City as there is a weird hooded lady on every screen that pops up telling people to keep being “interesting”

...I also ponder whether or not to give him the metaverse in this au. On one hand windbre is a Very 'yea no powers these are JUST some kids who hit like semi trucks-' BUT ALSO........the vibes of Ren eventually finding mementos and sorta pulling a solo thief act and trying to keep it a secret is very fun. Kid who cannot fight in reality very well but still finds his own way to combat the gangs yknow
