Do you think Makoto would still act like a detective at some point?

Still acting like a detective? Look, we can explore some situations where he could activate an investigative mode. Let's talk about nerdy things about Makoto together XD.

Tw: spoilers alert, big text.

Like, He definitely has the detective essence in his mind, because of his original, but he doesn't need to act like a detective anymore, because he's the CEO of an corporation and he's his own person now.

He can use all this inherited intelligence to build projects for his company, like, he was technically using this ability to do bad things in the name of love for Kanai Ward, After the main game, he can try new things to make the world a better place for his people, such as asking for forgiveness for what he did.

Even though he's always busy with project management, He is always watching everyone, knowing about all of them, You can imagine that he would be studying hidden human behavior. He has his own research to explore without it having to be just about Kanai Ward and Amaterasu.

He also openly say in chapter 4 he trusts machines more than humans. That humans can betray easily. (Probably something from his past as an experiment), This is also a clue that he would still have trust issues in post game AUs. As a celebrity, he is clearly the target of many enemies from outside who seek power and fame, so they would probably already try to kill him. I still like to imagine Martina and Seth protecting him, As much as Makoto can defend himself with weapons and machines in his favor.

Would you agree that he could create machines too and understand programming in an easy way? As a computer science student, I see this a lot lately, What kind of programming language did he use to make the Rain Machine work? I like to put my knowledge into favorite characters and my OCs, I hope it doesn't bother you. I was also thinking of a silly story of him creating an Idol for Kanai Ward, an anime girl Idol, based on himself or some famous figure like Hatsune Miku. He would always update her voice database, and her shows would be in holograms, or he would manage to create a physical robotic body for her using Amaterasu's technology. The reason for this project is probably to give the people of the city some fun and entertainment.

Also, she could be as his virtual daughter.

He also loves to talk about melons, probably has a melon plantation. So, it's easy to think that he would also be doing research on medicines using plants. I think it's a healthy way to take care of his health and the health of others he loves. This guy must love talking about botany.

Mmmm, what other projects do you think he'd be doing? The Idol project is just a silly story, and the medicinal plant project is a headcanon that I really liked.

As to what kind of detective he would be, he would definitely be an corporate detective. The term “corporate detective” refers to professionals who specialize in investigating and resolving issues within the corporate environment, such as fraud, industrial espionage, unfair competition, and other illicit activities that may compromise the integrity and security of an organization.

These professionals play a crucial role in protecting and maintaining the integrity of companies, using specialized skills and a keen sense of ethics to navigate the complexities of the modern business environment.

His investigative side would serve to solve problems within the company. But, I also like to imagine that he has a classic murder detective side, like Halara, he would know who the culprit of the case is with little information, clues, and witnesses, But he would let the newbies figure it out first, he could act like a mysterious person, dropping hints here and there, and after the newbie got the answer right, he would congratulate them. Maybe he would have moments where he would get irritated if the newbie showed signs of giving up.

He would probably intervene in some discussion and put everyone on the right track. Maybe he would have moments where he might act cold, but I think would be rude to the culprit, because even if the killer had their justifications, he would still be cold to them, and nothing would save their from punishment. The fact that he doesn't care about the criminals on death row and just sees them as ingredients for meatballs in the game only reinforces this thought: he doesn't care about the killers.

I would also find it interesting that he acted like mentor, he would always be in the shadows, observing the actions of the newbies from a long distance, and would intervene if this is necessary. Do you think he would be a good ally? He would have plenty of resources to help new characters in some new story. (COUGH COUGH, like a future sequel, COUGH COUGH) Think about it: he being obsessed with fixing every mistake made.

Wow, I think I said too much, sorry, I hope I answered your question, Anon, sorry guys, I think I get completely nerdy when I start talking about stuff about a favorite character. I love sharing my ideas with other fans who like the character too, I hope this isn't boring, I can probably do this more often with others. >.<

i do write long series on wattpad (and also on ao3 but that one is currently on hold). i’m in the middle of a friends series rewrite with a joey tribbiani x female oc storyline that i’m very invested in (this might be the first multi chaptered fanfic i ever complete). i also started writing a tenth doctor x witch oc au but i’m taking much longer to update this one as it will mostly be original episodes instead of following the doctor who storyline. i also have a tommy shelby x oc fic that’s been on hold for a year that i plan on eventually getting back into writing.

ꕤ — i honestly don’t really care about canon (especially when it comes to stuff like the dc universe). i will always respect identity traits that are important to the character like race, sexuality, disability, etc., but i might get ooc sometimes when it comes to their personalities.

May I hear your thoughts on Tak's ship and Dib's relationship? How they get along?

Not well at all. Dib wants to use Tak’s ship as an actual ship and The Ship’s AI will do anything in its programming to prevent that. They’ve occasionally bonded over their dislike of Zim, and that mutual dislike has been used to get the Ship to work with Dib, but even then Tak’s Ship would often rather have Zim drive them because even though Zim is Zim, they’re a pretty good pilot from what they saw in that dogfight with him and he takes pretty good care of his Voot Cruiser. Unlike Dib, who has no idea what he’s doing because the headlights in Tak’s ship alone are more advanced than anything on Earth.

Plus, that sense of Irken supremacy can still be found in Irken AIs, especially AIs created by uploading existing personalities like Tak’s Ship AI, so Tak’s Ship holds the belief that the only person worthy to pilot it is an Irken, not a big-headed mammal from an uncivilized planet of raw pollution that hasn’t even come close to the rest of the galaxy in technological advancement. To the AI, Zim is insufferable and they hate him, but at least he’s a better pilot than Dib and he’s an actual Irken, so they’ll keep the complaints to a minimum if they ever find Zim in the cockpit

(Also a small headcanon about Tak’s Ship that’s kind of important here: The Ship’s AI uses Tak’s voice and has a bunch of her personality traits, but it isn’t an exact copy of Tak and considers itself mostly separate from her.)

Dib needs to either trick or convince the ship to even get in the cockpit. The Ship has found that the best and most consistent way to prevent Dib from driving it is not letting him into the cockpit in the first place, and although Dib has successfully reasoned with it once or twice, 99% of the time Dib needs to force his way in or trick the ship into opening up. Once he’s inside the Ship can’t eject him (Tak already used the escape pod) and the AI has a bunch of rules that prevent it from killing the driver.

Due to Dib briefly uploading his personality into the ship, Dib is considered one of the “Drivers” of the ship. Lower priority than Tak, but he’s still considered a driver. Because of this, The AI can’t kill him directly and isn’t allowed to take full control of the ship when Dib is driving. It can’t force itself to crash either. So that’s why Tak’s Ship, despite very much wanting Dib dead with no care as to how that happens, can’t just kill him.

But the AI is crafty and one of the personality traits it got from Tak’s personality is her immense pettiness, so it gets revenge on Dib when it can.

The AI can’t kill Dib directly and what it can really do to him is limited, but there’s more than a few ways for it to limit what Dib is able to do.

I already mentioned that it does its best to keep Dib out of the cockpit, but when Dib is in the cockpit, the Ship hides all but the extremely essential parts. When Dib is driving, he can only access the steering controls, hyperdrive controls, weapons and a few tiny things things like the landing gear and lights. That’s it. The AI hides and restricts the rest. Because Dib is considered a valid driver, but isn’t considered the ship’s OWNER, he can’t just request that the ship give him back these things and have them be given back.

And apart from the steering, Dib doesn’t know how to properly use the things he has access to because the Ship refuses to translate things. In fact, it couldn’t even if it tried. Dib originally used the ship as a translator/computer in Backseat Drivers From Beyond The Stars via a remote connection, and when Zim woke up the ship’s AI, it automatically detected that remote connection and put the entire computer system into lockdown, revoking it’s access to the Irken database and any foreign connections. This means that it can’t update things like maps, can’t connect remotely to anything or be remote controlled, and can’t translate things from Irken, as the translation software relies on the Irken database to work.

Dib can’t disable the lockdown, Tak’s Ship can’t disable the lockdown, Zim can’t even disable the lockdown. The only person that can take the ship out of lockdown and reconnect it to the Irken database is Tak because she’s the Ship’s owner. So even if the ship wanted to, it can’t translate stuff for Dib or give him information that it doesn’t already know, as it can’t access the Irken internet and look things up anymore.

So if Dib wants to use the hyperdrive and doesn’t want to miss his target by several thousand light years and die in the cold dark emptiness of space, he needs the ship to cooperate and tell him exactly what to do, because Dib can’t read the maps or tell what he’s doing.

With weapons, Dib has full access to all weapons (mostly because the ship only has one) and can aim and fire it, but the AI also has access to the aiming systems and has a tendency to force Dib to miss shots.

And lastly, Tak’s Ship has one master plan to get Dib to stop using it: using up all its fuel.

Dib has no way of acquiring anything that an advanced ship can use as fuel. Tak’s Ship runs on concentrated dark matter for the main engine and uses exotic matter to power the hyperdrive, neither of which can be acquired on Earth. Earth scientists still consider dark and exotic matter to be completely theoretical topics that aren’t even worth researching, and it will be eons until humanity finally figures that stuff out. And that’s assuming that they ever do.

Tak’s ship also doesn’t have a modern hyperdrive that makes its own exotic matter on account of Tak’s Ship being built from scrap on a garbage planet. Tak didn’t have the time or resources to try and find things like a modern hyperdrive, so she used older stuff that she took from the wrecks of older ship models.

And Dib can’t go to charted space and buy this stuff for two main reasons: the language barrier, as English isn’t spoken outside of Earth since Earth is a recently discovered garbage world that isn’t worth travelling to, and money, as Earth money is useless outside of Earth and Dib has no way of acquiring accepted currencies.

Fuel is in very limited supply for Dib, and the Ship knows that. Even when Dib isn’t using the ship, the AI purposely leaves parts of itself (often parts that Dib is unaware of) on so it keeps draining fuel. The AI also refuses to show Dib how much fuel it has left or even the fact that it uses fuel at all, so Dib doesn’t know about the fuel usage. The AI also refuses to show Dib any damage it’s taken.

It’ll take a long time since Dark Matter Drives (the type of engine that Tak’s ship has) are really fuel efficient, but eventually Tak’s ship will run out of fuel and Dib won’t be able to get it going again. The AI also has hopes that it’ll run out of fuel when Dib is driving it, just so it can take him down with it.

A headcanon I have for Lysias that I haven't been able to incorporate into RP yet, that's a tough one. I had to think about this a while because Lysias is one of my least developed characters because they are a bit fickle. Inspiration for them doesn't come often. However...

When Lysias meditates, they are able to explore their own coding and make changes to it, making updates and upgrades to themself often. They are smart enough to know how to do this, and it's how they were able to access the hidden RA9 program in their systems.

They are also capable of doing this to other androids through interface, and I'm thinking that is part of how they got so many followers at first. However, now they are hesitant to interface after seeing that Markus could also access code and was breaking it in other androids to cause immediate deviancy. If other androids can do it, they are afraid to let them into their own programming, especially knowing what sort of damage can be done after causing it themselves in others before.

So it's an ace up their sleeve they can use to their advantage at any time, but they do not use it often, so it hasn't come up in RP yet.

The AU in question

Yes!! Aaaaahh i was so excited when I saw this ask because i’m so happy people still like it!! I’m definitely still thinking about it, don’t worry. The old AU hinges on the fact that FOWL doesn’t have a way into Scrooge’s company and family but uhhhh that’s not how it is now lmao. So I’ve been thinking about revamping it for a couple months now. I don’t want to do anything concrete until we know a little more about FOWL and how it works. We know who its agents are and a little bit about its goals but we really don’t know anything about its inner workings, what the Board’s dynamic is with their agents, what their dynamic is with modern SHUSH (if it even exists), etc etc. all of which are things that would probably be addressed in the Team Spyience AU! It is an AU but I’d like to build on canon as much as possible (unless there’s something that I really don’t vibe with) since it’ll be cleaner and less confusing that way. Like if I threw 2019 Team Spyience AU at you guys rn it would 1) be confusing since the FOWL structure and motives are completely different from canon and 2) be less interesting since there’s SO much potential for angst and drama with the Board, Rockerduck/Jeeves, and Gandra as part of FOWL. (and oh boy I’m so excited to work with that!!!)

that being said I have built a bit of a shaky foundation for a redone Team Spyience AU for when we learn more!! and ahhh i’m so excited to share. For bullet points, here are some ideas swimming around in my head. these all could change with new information from the show or just if i think of something better tbh

so this might change when we learn more about the Board in general and the nitty-gritty of FOWL’s plans, but right now I’m thinking that the Board realizes that 1) Gyro and his ragtag band of science nerds are powerful and stubborn, and will most definitely get in the way of their plans 2) Gyro already hates the Board, and if anyone in McDuck Enterprises were to pick up on their treason, it would be him 3) They have a strong foothold for control in the company, second only to Scrooge (and even that’s debatable), but they have minimal control over Gyro and the science department. So this time around it’s less about needing to spy on Scrooge and more about wanting to control Gyro and Team Science. how that translates to “capturing them and forcing them to spy on their boss and his family” is still up in the air, but i’ll let you guys know when i figure it out! (and if you all have any ideas lmk)

we all know Gyro dislikes the Board but it’s mostly just annoyance/spite since they always shut down his inventions. Here, though, he would hate them. He would probably start like smack-talking them to everyone he can, especially Scrooge, which is his own way of trying to get them to realize the Board is evil without tipping the Board off to his treachery. Scrooge would be confused and it would be like the first crack in the Board’s carefully built facade, but it wouldn’t work for him. He probably just thinks Gyro’s being his mean self.

Huey, though... I’m pretty sure Huey’s gonna end up researching FOWL since it’s his season, and he spends enough time around Team Science to notice how off they’re all acting, without being too busy to pay it much mind (like Scrooge). so one of Gyro’s snarky remarks will tip him off, and he’ll start to view the Board with a little more suspicion each time. Until he comes to the conclusion through his research, and SHUSH resources like Beakley and Webby, that oh god that was an allusion to FOWL the Board is FOWL-

and then- wait is Gyro FOWL?? is Team Science okay?? this goes deeper than I thought-

so essentially the B-plot of this AU is Huey (with the help of the rest of the kids, but especially Webby, Boyd, and Violet) researching FOWL in the background and trying to figure out why Team Science is acting so weird lately, and there’s a lot of dramatic irony

FOWL definitely threatens Boyd to get to Gyro because I love me some quality Boyd & Gyro family content 😌

I originally thought about working a “Gyro is a former FOWL agent that got away by the skin of his teeth” aspect into the AU since I was really fond of that concept when it was a theory, but now it’s been disproven. It does make for a lot of extra drama and angst, but I don’t think it quite fits, so I might just make that an entirely separate AU. I might add some non-canon bonus content with this concept though!

The majority of Team Science’s dynamic throughout the AU stays the same - they’re all incredibly stressed and on edge and just in a really sticky situation, so they snap at each other and have a lot of petty arguments. But at the same time, they’re all in the really sticky situation together, and so they come out of this mess a whole lot closer. It’s sort of a “You’re the only ones I can be honest with without dire consequences” situation.

also re: that last point - CUDDLE PUDDLES. i’m so soft for them. i’m thinking maybe on a night when FOWL makes them all stay in the cells overnight as a punishment or smth, but they’re all in one cell, they just fall asleep all on top of each other and it’s just a really sweet moment made bittersweet by the circumstances. it’s also a testament to how far their relationship has come under pressure and how much they trust each other now.

Gyro is the only target originally (I’m thinking maybe Fenton, Manny, and Lil’ Bulb catch the Board in the act and it’s very dramatic and terrifying. i think they’re originally gonna kill Team Science, since FOWL has a very take-no-prisoners leave-no-loose-ends sort of mindset, but Gyro convinces the Board that the majority of Scrooge McDuck’s research team mysteriously dying in one fell swoop would be extremely suspicious, especially since Scrooge has an in-house former SHUSH agent. so they live, miraculously, but the Board lets all of them know in no uncertain terms that if it happens again, the other person dies. No ifs, ands, or buts. So Team Science is all very, very nervous and careful about what they let slip. They want to tell everyone, especially Scrooge, but they can’t because they care too much. (Hence Gyro making passive-aggressive comments about the Board to Scrooge.) and of course everyone else gets suspicious and resentful since they know Team Science is hiding stuff from them. so that leads to a lot of drama and arguments.

speaking of the drama and arguments from the outside, the kids are doing their own investigation, but I headcanon Della as friends with Gyro from before the Spear of Selene, and she has a budding friendship with Fenton too. So she’d notice they’re all acting really weird and bailing on all her plans, so she storms down to the lab and tries an aggressive tactic to get them to fess up. They don’t, obviously, so she goes on a little investigation of her own. I’m thinking she might drag Launchpad and Donald into it - Launchpad since he’s good friends with Team Science, and Donald because I love him and I want him involved they’re the Duck Twins and they work best together.

I have this scene floating around in my head where, in the very beginning, FOWL agents/Eggheads capture Gyro and drag him to FOWL HQ underneath Funzo’s to be briefed on his new situation. He’s stuck in one of those glass cells Launchpad and Dewey were in when Steelbeak brought them back in the Double-O-Duck episode. The Board knows he’s there, but Gyro has no clue they’re villains. So they come to the cell to brief and belittle him (let’s be honest here, they’ve never liked Gyro) and he just. He’s pissed. Spitting mad. He’s always resented the Board but never like this; never pictured them as actual powerful villains. He may be spiteful of them because they shut down his projects, but at the end of the day, they’re good guys. They’re on his side, and more importantly, Scrooge’s side. Right?

So Gyro is like, up against the glass, trying to punch them through the airholes. He’s just so fucking furious. He’s not really thinking straight and he doesn’t care about any dignity, he’s just angry. The Board is just overly smug and pleased with themselves. It’s a very stereotypical “You’ll never get away with this, you villain!!” picture, and very dramatic. And then the Board just walks away after giving him a bare-bones explanation of the situation that he doesn’t really process because he’s so mad and terrified. And they turn off all the lights and let him stew in there overnight.

Once Huey and the kids have finally put the pieces together, Webby comes to the Bin one day with Scrooge, and she goes to the meeting room to look for him. Only he’s not in there - The Board is, and they’re berating Gyro for sassing off about them to Scrooge or smth. Webby, with all her trained spy skills, hears their conversation and is able to avoid detection (although the Board is suspicious, and they start investigating to tie off any loose ends). Their conversation, though, would be suspicious to any oblivious passerby, but from all the research the kids have done, they know what’s going on.

That’s not the actual reveal - I think thematically that should go to Huey, since he’s the closest to Team Science and it’s his season. This would just chase away any last doubts the kids may have. And maybe Webby gets a voice recording as evidence? I just love those; they’re so dramatic.

this is one part that might not end up aligning with canon but I’m REALLY fond of the Akita FOWL theory. So in this AU, I’m thinking Akita was a really casual member of FOWL all along that recently got an updated agent commission. So there’s even more potential drama there, since Gyro utterly despises Akita now. And a bigger incentive to keep Boyd safe, since Gyro knows FOWL would be more than happy to program Boyd into a mindless attack robot.

in the old AU I was toying with the idea that FOWL didn’t know Fenton’s Gizmoduck until a big reveal, and it was a secret weapon of Team Science’s (but also a point for a lot of arguments, since Fenton desprately wanted to be out there protecting people at the cost of his own safety) but uhh... they definitely know now. In a bid to stop FOWL from taking control of Gizmoduck, Fenton claims the armor is out of commission and sabotages it. So Fenton’s heroics are temporarily halted while Team Science frantically tries to figure out how to keep FOWL from hacking/taking control of a new and improved Gizmosuit.

As for writing... I don’t have anything done, least of all anything for the revamped version of the AU, but I do have this wonderful writing prompt from @advisortotheadvisor that I started back in January 2019, when I was working on the old version of the AU, that I really want to do with the revamped AU. (it just fits so well ahhhh!!!)

Gyro crossed his arms across his chest, scowling to hide his fear. He’d gotten pretty good at it over these past few months.

Watching the halls was basically useless. Fowl was careful to keep Gyro and his team within the same halls, as to not be able to find their way out on their own. And Gyro knew the way to Steelbeak’s office well. He’d lost count of how many times he’d been marched here.

At least he wasn’t cuffed anymore, though he suspected it was only because the agents and their minions knew there was too much at stake for an escape attempt. It had been too long, anyway. That was an amaetur move. Even though he loathed to admit it, Gyro cared too much about the consequences - the people at stake - to even try.

It was just a well-aimed mockery. Like everything short of punishment seemed to be these days under FOWL’s watchful eye and careful thumb. Gyro scowled deeper and crossed his arms tighter and pretended in vain it didn’t bother him.

That was all he could do, really.

DBH Connor Headcanons:

• Connor is programmed, as an advanced prototype, to be able to adapt to any given situation and manipulate his own body language, voice and appearance in order to adapt to a suspect or victim’s behaviour. He can play the good cop and bad cop simultaneously, such as during the Carlos Ortiz android interrogation.

• Connor didn’t actually like dogs when he first met Hank, as he was only 3 months old by that point and spent the majority of his time either investigating or in Cyberlife tower either in stasis or reviewing maintenance /updates. He said he liked dogs in order to win Hank’s favour, but upon actually meeting Sumo, he quickly realised he did in fact like them. Sumo was the first dog he ever met.

• Connor, despite his awkwardness when talking to humans or comforting, is actually equipped with basic psychological – analysis software and is able to be of use when faced with a number of psychological issues that may affect any human victims including PTSD. He is a fully trained therapist if needed.

• Those at Cyberlife, however, did not take into account that these responses and assets could back-fire when used against a hard – boiled alcoholic lieutenant.

• Connor is programmed with software from an amalgamation of androids to assist with any possible situation. He has basic child – care in order to comfort and gain the trust of children in frightful situations, his crime-scene analysis software is a highly advanced version of that a house maintenance android would have in order to maintain prime hygiene within the home, his social interaction and adaptation software is based on that of android talk show hosts and actors that would require quick – time reaction and proper adaptation to events.

• Despite his more lanky appearance, Connor is extremely strong even by Android standards and is able to lift weights akin to that of construction and labour androids such as the likes of Luther.

• These abilities however have to be tightly monitored and measured when doing near all tasks, his software precision altered even slightly could be disastrous. The exact pressures are critical between different tasks – from petting Sumo or helping an android/Hank to stopping an elevator with his bare hands, kicking a door off its hinges or even restraining an android the size of Luther. His software is managed with excruciatingly neat detail, with some situations forced to involve less power than others. He wouldn’t be allowed to use any such strength against a human or deviant to be captured as it could pose unnecessary damage or harm. He physically would not be allowed while being a machine unless completely necessary. As a deviant, however, he would have to monitor these pressures himself.

• When he is emotional, these pressure monitors can be affected by his deviancy and fluctuate ever so slightly. It isn’t uncommon to see Hank or one of the Jericrew comforting him without applying too much stress or too much physical contact after he all but broke Markus’s hand in his while being comforted after one of his first panic attacks without Hank there. Hank was aware of the strength problem but never thought it wasn’t normal by android-standards enough to be mentioned.

• Connor, as a result of his deviancy conflicting with his code, his very being, has been known to suffer panic attacks. The signs of this is usually over usage or a bombardment of data from his surrounding, overheating his sensors and affecting his system depending on the situation and whether Hank, Sumo or later Markus and even Simon, leading to him struggling to comprehend his surrounding and entering a sort of threatened, feral mode as his system views him as being vulnerable and open to attack. His sensitivity , from the senses of touch, sound or sight, are heightened to uncanny levels and he can barely function in these states.

• Connor doesn’t really understand how to stop his emotions from controlling him, while he isn’t reckless or aggressive, he doesn’t know how to control responses that prior his deviancy were held back by his programming. Like how when he first meets Gavin against post-revolution and he just doesn’t even take a second to try to defuse or ignore him, he just instantly shuts down any physical aggression Gavin has against him and just lets loose his irritation. This turns out to be very entertaining and slightly terrifying to those watching as Connor completely destroys any of Gavin’s ego and superiority complex, not wasting any time in showing his determination to kick Gavin’s ass should he try anything.

• Connor is asexual and doesn’t understand the need for sexual intercourse but does enjoy the concept of romance and welcomes physical contact from those he is comfort with. While he doesn’t feel the need for sex or anything along those lines, he isn’t disgusted by it or show any hatred towards those who enjoy it. While watching romantic movies or scenes he prefers to analysis the interactions and body language of the individuals involved, using such signs of attraction and other information when interacting with the females in the office he can’t help but notice behaving strangely, turning to Hank with his findings only for him to glare at the onlookers and groan that he needed a drink.

• Connor also may or may not have also noticed corresponding results to his interactions with a certain robo-jesus as of late. The other Jericrew members found his analysis hilarious.

• Connor hates when people assume he is a ‘dog person’ as he views favouring a certain animal over all others is idiotic and unnecessary and just illogical. He loves all animals of any shape and size (even hairless cats) as he feels comforted by their lack of prejudice towards androids and unconditional love should you treat them well.

• But Sumo is his favourite animal friend... possibly his best friend. He enjoys how he simply wants pets and doesn’t stare at his LED but just slobbers all over him.

• Connor has a phobia of Snowstorms due to his experience with Amanda in the Zen Garden during Markus‘s speech and so, while able keep himself calm while outside in winter, his stress will automatically shot upon even a slight breeze blowing snow flurries onto him. If left to endure such conditions, he more than likely would succumb to a panic attack and be welcomed with a hug from Hank and Sumo before they would all cuddle sit on the couch and drink hot cocoa or hot milk and honey and watching another old movie Hank suggested.

• Connor has extremely fast reflexes upon being touched while in a vulnerable state such as (sleeping??) stasis or simply relaxing with Sumo. This was noted rather quickly when Hank went to wake him up a week or so after the revolution by shaking his shoulder, only to quickly find the android flipping him over the sofa and his programming already predicted over ten ways to subdue and possibly disable his attacker. Connor continued to apologise for a near week afterwards, despite the older lieutenant’s claims that it wasn’t his fault he was built to be quick to action and at least he hadn’t woken up with a knife in near proximity.

• Hank also wanted to ask him about the ‘Amanda’ character he had been muttering rather loudly about while sleeping which caused the lieutenant’s actions, questioning if androids could even have nightmares but deciding to hold off until Connor calmed down.

• Connor and Hank would often have movie nights (especially during not-gonna-sleep-snowstorms) during which they could go through Hank’s collection dating back nearly thirty years. These would definitely include the likes of Back to the future (Hank kept complaining about watching the sequels since Connor kept informing him of the illogical plot pieces in contrast to the basics of time travel), Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, Rocky, Disney...etc.

• Soon Connor would also branch out to have movie nights with the Jericrew (Hank definitely encouraged him to educate their ‘uncultured plastic asses’) and these more often or not were action movies (North) or Disney movies (they all love them fight me they all cried for Mufasa and Baymax).

• Connor cried during the scene where Hiro made Baymax attack Calihan (?? That how you spell his name?). The Jericrew thought it was just the scene that upset him, not understanding how it represented one if his greatest if not his greatest fear – being controlled to kill and attacking/near killing his friends in the process.

• That was the first time the Jericrew saw him saw him show such uncontrollable emotions, watching the ex-deviant hunter start to silently cry, attempt to proper himself and shrug his emotions away before completely breaking down into a sobbing mess.

• It slowly dawned on them the actual implications of the scene and how they affected him, with Markus immediately pulling the sobbing detective into a hug.

• The others joined in too. Even North.

• Simon, upon them binging the Captain America movies, would comment that Connor and Bucky were quiet similar in that they were both made into weapons and forced to ignore their emotions and conditioned to obey until a suave guy who was good at shielding himself with a hunk of metal managed to break through and help them see the light.

• Everyone found that comparison heart-warming but hilarious once they realised Markus was blushing for making a comment about shipping Stucky (cue awkward android babies being teased – ruthless killing assassin helped by cutie with weird but wicked fashion-sense and a big heart).

• No one who surprised when, a week later, they found Connor wandering around Jericho saying “I Am Groot.” to all and everyone in the characters voice.

• He gave everyone a near heart attack when he said it out loud at the precinct.

• No one in Jericho is allowed to talk about Infinity War. No one.

Android!Gavin and human!RK900(Nile) Alternate Universe

- Nile is almost OCD in the way he goes through life. He has to stick to his schedule, Monday is always chicken nugget day, and his scarves must always be wrapped around his neck twice. 

- Though it’s not OCD, he just likes order because his mind can’t really cope when faced with something new. 

- It was probably a bad idea for him to have become a detective but his mind is one of the best out there and he can solve crimes really quickly.

- So he gets assigned the deviant cases and he’s okay with it. Busy doing all the preliminary research about androids and why they deviate and all of that crap.

- But lo and behold. Nile, whom is rarely assigned a partner (he actually is, he just keeps his distance from them because other people are weird and difficult to predict), is set to work with GR200.

- He’s known about the DPD’s android for a while but hasn’t really interacted with it.

- So it really gets him because he. was. not. told. that he’d be working with an android on the cases.

- This really sets their relationship off on a bad foot and is made worse by GR200′s rather... coarse personality.

- Nile. did. not. know. that. androids. could. swear.

- Long story short. Nile eventually comes to like GR200, because it’s easy to expect his insults and GR200 doesn’t make Nile feel like an idiot when he flounders in a social situation. Just waits there patiently for him to calm down and knows the exact words to say for help that happen. 

- Things change later on. More specifically during the Eden Club chapter with the Tracis. Niles watched Gavin hesitate when he had the gun in his hand, before deciding upon not shooting and he knows that there was more than enough time for Gavin to have shot them both and then some. 

- He can’t help but see himself in Gavin in that moment. The way that Gavin is just like him-- not too sure what to do when faced with unfamiliar situations, and floundering when faced with the wrong choice. 

- After that the thought enters Nile’s head: Are androids that different from him after all?

- During the Last Chance, Connor chapter it would be Gavin being an overachieving little shit and wanting to figure out where Jericho is. When he asks Nile for help, Nile panics and says no-- something he later regrets because he has been building up a relationship with Gavin. 

- Either way, Gavin goes into the evidence room and it’s Hank that tries to stop him after he finds where Jericho is. Also Nile’s password is ‘RK900′, just because. 

- During the Crossroads chapter, it’s actually North that gets the stubborn boy to deviate by slapping him. Though let’s just face it, there isn’t that much of a difference between machine and deviant Gavin. He still swears just as much (it all started because one of the IT techs thought it’d be fun to add that into his programming)

- Anyways, so while Nile is feeling super guilty about everything he gets a message from Gavin saying that he is going to Cyberlife Tower to free a bunch of androids. Because earlier on he had told Gavin to always update him on what he is doing. 

- Thus, character development occurs and Nile goes to Cyberlife Tower on a whim because he needs to help Gavin in anyway possible. Especially if he is helping the revolution. 

- The whole stand down that originally happens with Connor, Hank and Cyberlife Tower Connor occurs pretty much the same except it’s with Nile, Gavin and an improved android that basically looks like Kamski (because Gavin is actually an older model).

- The rest of the revolution (peaceful ending) goes much the same to be honest. 

- Afterwards, Gavin moves in with Nile and helps out where he can. He also manages to twist Nile’s arm into adopting a cat, which he then names Gilbert. 

- As time passes, Nile definitely becomes more laid back as he pretty much learns how to human from a recently deviated Gavin. Because that’s irony baby~

Thoughts/Headcanons on Connor’s prototype model. Okay so I’ve been thinking about this just because I’m trash but stay with me.

So it seems to me that A) CyberLife can be secretive af, B) Connor was expected not to deviate and had a mind palace to keep him on track which no one else seemed to have (or at least did not go to the amount he did), and C) was only a prototype that would be destroyed if he failed. Not reset, destroyed. They had a lot of models of him and seemed to only send out one at a time aside from if Connor goes deviant, and only to kill the deviated Connor.

Connor was an advanced prototype worth a small fortune by time he met Hank. He was also, presumably, the 51st of his model at that time (I’m taking a bit of lore from wiki here). This is from August when his model was made to November. Three months and he’s gone through that many. Not to mention if the other Connor appears, he is the 60th model. (And the RK900 appears presumably towards the end of November but anyway) I think this points to Connor’s model being extremely experimental and constantly undergoing updated measures to make him better but also to make him a weapon which is fully realized in RK900, the version of Connor that will not be prone to program instability in any sense.

They have a lot of Connor models that have been gone through, with only one or two (more if Connor is killed) being released into the world to our knowledge. I like to think this is because the older versions proved not to be good enough, especially earlier models, or rather not convincing enough.

We know Connor is a negotiator (he can deal well with others and is good at convincing), and he’s a detective. He can fake human emotion convincingly and notes that he is made to adapt. My thought is that Connor was partially made for the purpose of eventual infiltration (but when his model proved to have possible instability, the RK900 was developed). Due to this, Connor is– for the most part unknowingly– equipped to be more human than other androids. His temperature mimicks a human. He can be made to have a pulse and steady heartbeat. He can sweat and cry and etc. Being made after the Traci model, he is also ‘equipped’ so to speak.

Because of this, CyberLife would have a lot of problems with a deviant of this model, which is why they threatened human life in order to stop him, something that would usually be a strict no. Which is why Connor would be destroyed if unsuccessful. Which is why a newer, stabler model needed to be ready to go as soon as the smallest sign of deviation showed and why Amanda is so important in order to watch him– and also why he can be reset remotely.

Connor is a threat because he is possibly the most human appearing thing CyberLife created, more so than the RK900 who was made to avoid the attachment RK800 Connor began to form. He is unable to change his appearance due to this (as a kind of last effort, just in case sort of thing), and if he deviated and tried to get to the border, you bet your ass there would be a lot of people from CyberLife watching for him.

▻ OBSERVATIONS: Kotone

( so a thing I really love to do is run my first playthough of a game ic from the perspective of it's protagonist, as I feel it lets me collect lots of little headcanons to flesh them out and really figure out how they feel in important moments. Kotone is no exception to this, so under the cut is some things that happened during my P3P playthrough! )

▸ almost chronically got sick after Tartarus missions or full moons, her health is something that will almost definitely get it's own post in the future. The longest streak she went without getting sick was, funnily, when Shinjiro joined the party, and sure enough it didn't last after he was hospitalized..

▸ DA MANNNN- Junpei was easily her first best friend, and we...accidentally fumbled Yukari so hard because we didn't unlock lovers until like halfway through- ( She's sorry!! Yukari is still someone she loves dearly, but. well. oops- )

▸ ..Jumping off of Junpei, hates the feeling of being watched. She never really got over the stalking incident, and that anxiety sat with her for a long time. Yakushima was particularly stressful at times because of it.

▸ Rarely swaps personas, actually. She dislikes changing off of Orpheus, viewing it as an almost betrayal to herself. While it's a rule she'll break when she needs to, this did have the payoff of Orpheus swiftly becoming an overwhelmingly powerful force.

▸ Chose tennis and the health committee!

▸ ...Was sick during the required practice sessions for the tournament, it was rough. ( Same with meeting Shinjiro for the first time, summer school, AND meeting Ryoji. Girl could NOT win- )

▸ Developed the habit of compulsively checking the dorm's rooftop door every night, oddly enough. It became part of her daily rounds, walking the halls in the morning and night to simply just...listen. See if she heard life in anyone's room, greet and check in with those she saw milling about. It stressed her when she couldn't find someone without having a reason for it.

▸ Almost took Akihiko's romance route. He nearly had it, but fumbled at the last moment ( which GOD I'm absolutely going to talk about later. Secret third flavor of mental illness unlocked that day- )

▸ Main team was Junpei, Akihiko, and Aigis!

▸ Was sick/tired for Genuinely half of November. I know I keep bringing up her health but like I'LL NEVER GET OVER IT. HER LUCK WAS SO BAD....

Turns out you can skip mess with one neat trick: owning barely anything at all! ...of course, Kotone found this strategy quick to slip away as she got more and more involved with SEES and life around the port, knick-nacks and supplies steadily outgrowing the shopping bag or two she allowed them.

While she couldn't really care less about some litter in her own room, the dorm cameras pose a unique problem. She might not care about mess, but the others would- wouldn't they? ( it always comes down to appearances for her, doesn't it. )

That said, while her room often looks spotless, it's mostly just a front. Pressure to not draw concern only goes so far- just about everything of hers has been shoved under the bed and into the closet in a heap, no energy to bother with the folding or storage.

Ren finds himself in the unique hell of situationally having a terrible social backbone.

While defiance and the like are core traits he will always champion, the truth remains that he is also a chameleon- he'd fold himself every which way if it gave him a better response. While on average, it only manifests as little personality changes ( min-maxing over your every little word ), there's been several cases of him finding himself dragged along to less than desired situations in favor of trying to get what he wants- or, to just not jeopardize relationships he's already built.

If he thought saying no would get so much as a frown, he'd probably fold and you'd never be the wiser. ( ...so long as a heist or, potentially, the fate of the world isn't on the line. That requires a bit more backbone, doesn't it. )

Serena Seres Yvonne is, by all means, the same character as the canon XY Protag. The divergence is that they are heavily based on my original playthrough of Pokemon X, and my explorations on the long-term effects of effectively holding a God in your pocket.

▻ Unless plotted otherwise, Seres remains the reigning champion of Kalos, and is currently residing in Lumiose City

▻ Works as a fashion model alongside their role as Champion, fulfilling an unspoken tradition of Kalosian Champions- much like their Galarian Neighbors -having a media heavy influence and presence. They have a very slim to waifish build as a result, as they often follow very strict diet plans.

▻ While they do not use Xerneas competitively, often subbing it out for a Charizard raised from Sycamore's gift to them, it is still on their person at all times. While this is done with intent to protect the deity, it has not been without its consequences. Maintaining constant, albeit often reduced, exposure to Xerneas' aura has caused steady changes to their body over time- almost akin to radiation. These changes include extremely above average height, mild deformation of the pupils, eye color, skin spots along the back and shoulders, the beginnings of antler growth, and a sensitivity to certain metals and toxins. Many of these changes are mild and gradual enough to not cause immediate alarm, and Seres takes great lengths to keep them unknown to the public. They're known for being incredibly fond of head accessories as a result of this.

▻ In their Hisui verse, they are near inseparable from their ace pokemon: a Zororark nicknamed Caleb. In an attempt to curb the grief of being separated from their loved ones, they had him emulate a description of Calem, and he's been a near constant presence outside of the ball ever since. However, he was not their first pokemon in this land, as their first catch belonged to Chiot the Ryhorn. ( Note: because of this, Caleb will often be a presence in Hisui or Immortal verse threads. )
