#artists on tumblr #illustration #animated illustration #animation #backgrounds #animated gifs #background illustration #myillust #landscape #plants #scenery #summer #hiii! just wanted to share an artwork i made that's super fresh from the oven ksfknsf #'the wandering painter' will be a series that consists of artworks that has elements that i struggle to draw and am trying to improve on!#ive always really struggled with the process of painting (for example) clouds fields grass grasslands flowers etc #despite the end result coming out satisfactory imo but i cant deny that it most of the time feels like a fluke #so this series would consist of my journey of improving how to draw said elements/areas more confidently :D #this artwork in particular - i studied and practiced how to paint/draw silver grass better along with grasses and clouds #i feel like im sorta getting the hang of it but theres definitely room to study and experiment how i can paint it better #so yeah! nonetheless i really hope you'll like this! and i hope you'll have a lovely day/night ahead <3333

island update🍃 im working on a transition area from the city to the first like “natural” area✨ and the first fairy pond🧚🏻also i got a new villager! his shade of green matches my island so well🍀 i kinda regret that i started to work so much on one side of the island bc now i have to collect items all over again before i start on the first neighborhood build(which i wanna work on next💚)

So there I am 12 years old, I don't know how the word Cicada is pronounced, and I don't even know its a kind of bug, but I have seen it used in a sentence like "the cicadas are singing". So OBVIOUSLY I assume its a kind of bird, and my brain simply starts autocorrecting the word to CHICKADEE every single time I see it.

Now I'm 24 and I have in fact figured out what a cicada is at this point. But even so I struggle to not read the word as chickadee every single time

#we dont got those things where i live how was i supposed to know #also tho because i didnt know what a cicada was or what they sounded like #it took me ages to piece together that the sound that plays in a summer anime is cicadas #most the time my brain actually combined the two words and i accidentally say it like 'sick a dee'#fortunately it like never comes up where i live cuz we do not got those things so ive never embarassed myself irl
