I have very fluffy/poofy hair that looks like a mane! Its more controlled at the top but super fluffy at the bottom! I love to run my paws through is and fluff it up n make it look more wild and wavy, taking care of it is my favorite thing ^^

What are some things you do to feel comfortable and bring your identity/identities into your daily life? How do you affirm your identity in everyday life? I'd love to know! :]

I wish I had a pack to play hide and seek with.

Like, imagine being out deep in the woods, hiding behind trees, bushes and scattered buildings. Having nearly a mile worth of land to hunt through. Relying solely on instinct. The predators hunt the prey. Some stalk, wading through the trees slowly, turning their head to look at any small movement, listening for the quietest sound. Some charge in, running aimlessly, looking for any resemblance of a clue that will lead them to their prey. Doesn't matter if they scare them off, the chase is worth half the fun anyway!

The prey are on the other side of the forest, wondering when, or if they will need to run to save themselves. The rules say they have to be on the move every so often. So, they duck behind anything they can, rocks, hills, trees, buildings, bushes, anything they can find. They perk up their ears and head anytime they hear a suspicious sound. Assessing the danger, they decide to move on to safer areas.

The game could last hours, but that's the fun of it. Everyone is given gear to keep them happy and safe. Water, food, flashlight, mobile chargers, walkie-talkies, rain gear, headphones, small medkit, a map, a compass and a tent. The area will be surveyed before hand so no one gets lost. Dynamics are always agreed upon beforehand and rules and positions can be changed at any moment if anyone becomes uncomfortable. There will be game master(s) in place, checking in on everyone individually to make sure everyone is okay. The game master(s) will have everyone's location in case they need to bring them anything. The prey will have a camouflage band tied around their arm to signify their rank. The predators will wear orange bands to draw attention to them, and perhaps give the prey a fighting chance. The game master(s) will wear purple bands. And, Everyone carries a white flag in case they need a break or are talking to the game master(s).

1: I mostly prefer Therian and otherkin but I respond to anything!

2: (Holotheric) Snow Leopard, (Holotheric) Sumatran Tiger, Trico fictionkin (The Last Guardian), and the Holotheric concept of Lucid Dreaming :)

3: definitely my lucid dreaming conceptkin. There are very few dreamkins, and I've yet to see any other lucid dreamers. Conceptkin is also very misunderstood & not widely accepted from what I've seen so far. But, I see myself as the physical embodiment of lucid dreaming, similarly to the thought-forms from Greylock (YouTube horror series)

4: Snow Leopardkin - Snow Cones, Tigerkin - any meat except for fish, Tricokin - Blue Raspberry Freezies, Lucid Dreamkin - Cotton Candy

5: Snow Leopardkin - Light Grey, Tigerkin - Black, Tricokin - Cyan, Lucid Dreamkin - Golden Hour

6: I currently own 1 half mask for my tricokin! I'm currently working on my ears, horns, and paws! I'm also working on paws for my snow leopard kintype, and after that will be saving up to get the fur to make my tiger paws :) I'm also saving up to buy patterns to make my own masks for eat kintype (including my dreamkin 'type as, yes, I do have a general idea of how to represent myself physically as a dream!)

7: the community. Yea, there's drama here/there but like... Everyone I've interacted with so far has been incredibly loving and supportive.

8: dysphoria & rejection. My dysphoria would probably be better if I could openly express my identity, but, I'm too afraid of rejection. The pain of not being seen for who I am is really painful and at times debilitating.

9: Video Games (The Long Dark especially), interacting with my cat, eating/cooking foods that relate to my 'types, and interacting with media of my 'types!

10: I'm currently putting together several playlists but, it's hard to find songs that I really enjoy that fit my kintypes. So far I only really have a small playlist for my Lucid Dream kintype

11: not yet unfortunately. I do plan on collecting figurines and plushies of my species, but money is tight rn and I don't have the energy to 3d print/paint any.

12: I mostly dress in baggy black and grey clothes, so, kinda! I definitely plan to get more fits that relate to my kintypes, as well as theta Delta & paw accessories to go with em!

13: absolutely! I have 3 suits (1 in the works), and 30+ characters. My two truesonas are Milo the bobcat, and Aporia the snow leopard! Aporia is actually how I came to realize I am a Snep! Here's my toyhouse if you wanna see all my characters! (you have to be logged in)

14: I don't have anything YET! I'm not super happy with my current style, but hopefully I'll have some personal work of my kintypes soon!

Hey y'all. I'm gonna be on hiatus for a little bit!

My mental health has taken a huge blow recently and I realized I've been using this account/community as a way to bottle things up rather than process what all is going on. I have put a bit TOO much of myself into this account already, and I'm beginning to feel inadequate if a post doesn't do super well. Which is strange since I have never previously cared about interactions on social media.

I also realized that, in my time being more active in the community, I've become "trigger happy" for finding kintypes. I'm seriously doubting my Trico kintype. And, I'm already kinsidering a few other species (African Wild Dog, some sort of Nudibranch or other sea creature, Crested Gecko, and Sunbeam Snake). I'm at a point where the lines between kin, kith, copinglink, and just generally liking an animal are all blurred. And while I don't believe that it's causing me harm, and I fully believe that it is okay to try out labels and be "wrong", I would also like to be able to interact with other animals "normally". I don't wanna analyze every animal I see, just to figure out if I am in any way connected to them.

I'm likely not gonna be gone for too long. I have something very important I have been working on, that I'm planning to premier when I decide to come back. I mainly just want to take a step back from the community for a few weeks, and reassess my goals, as well as spend my time researching into possible other kintypes, without a biased lens.

For now I'm gonna focus my energy on other hobbies, like coding my character profiles on toyhouse, 3D modeling, watching video essays, probably rewatching invincible for the billionth Time, etc. love y'all!!! See you soon!!!

!!!Lighthearted Mentions of Self Harm!!!

I am in no way trying to romanticize my scars, but, they are strangely affirming. Tiger stripes aren't just part of our fur, but also part of our skin. And it's sort of comforting having my stripes back, even if the reason I have them is horrible.

I plan on getting them tattooed over one day! I'm thinking of getting a mix of stripes and spots to represent both my tiger self and snow leopard self. In the meantime tho, I'm saving up to buy skin safe markers/paint so I can find healthier ways to feel more comfortable in my body!
