HOME COOKING // Last Saturday’s meal prep: Grilled sambal skate with red onions, okra and curry leaves; Curry Red Emperor cutlet with eggplant, tomatoes, tofu puffs. Sambal sauce was from @suku_freo - so spicy and good. Skate was purchased from @atlanticseafoodperth in Northbridge. Wanted to get banana leaves for a more authentic look but my local grocer only sell it frozen by the pack - there were at least 20 leaves per pack - would have been surplus to needs so my sensibility won over “nice presentation”. It doesn’t look too bad now, does it?
