☕️and comfort food!
THANK YOU GOMZ
A lot of my comfort food / meals are meals from my home region. Like nothing makes me happier than eating a meal called "carbonnade flamande", it's a beef stew slow cooked in beer and gingerbread that you eat with fries and it's just UUUUGH the best thing in the entire world. Also, Potjevleesch, I recommend googling that one because It's impossible to make it sound good, but I swear, it's delicious too.
I also looooove a good raclette, it's a swiss dish that's very popular in France too, you just melt raclette cheese and put it on potato and eat it with a variety of charcuterie usually. Ate one last week and mwah, delicious.
And then I gotta mention sushis because come on, nothing makes me happier than getting a big plate of sushis and then going into a food coma.

mmkay, final thoughts on trash belongs in the trash can.
-wasn’t particularly into the main couple. which is a shame bc i love locker & opener and that continues to be my fave couple obsessed with each other. so this… suji/woobin weren’t messed up enough ig????
-i kinda wonder if the issue was woobin from the get go? how it was initially set up… and how he fell so quickly? so… ig it was interesting to watch his reactions, but i wasn’t rooting for him, same applies to suji tbh?
-i really do like suji’s construction tho. big fan of “you were nice to me one time so now i will ruin your life so long as you’re mine”. but… idk. something missed the mark with her too. maybe i didn’t want it to be sincere on her end either, to some extent?
-wouldn’t have killed the dad tho tbh.
-i think s1 was more interesting because suji really kept me guessing, s2 was pretty decent until the time skip happened. then it kinda rushed through to the ending, which suited the story but felt unsatisfying.
-i kept wanting woobin’s friends to come back, tbh. idk i kept holding out that there might be a reconciliation and yet… no. nothing. suhi drove them off and that was that. woe.
-secondary couple suho/inhye were so cute as a contrast to suji/woobin. but they’d be so bland if the story had been about them. there’s not really much reason why they ended up together but. they made me laugh and i enjoyed them, so i don’t mind that much, but again: they only worked because they were a showcase how messed up suji/woobin were.
-i wanted way more on suji and her brother tbh. doesn’t really make sense that her brother was more normal tbh? but again, could have just been the lack of focus/story’s priorities.
-i… kinda found the shape of the story overall messy? like it was good for s1, then sorta bloated in s2 (tho i like a good portion of it), and then it culled too many characters for the ending, so i just… idk. got less into it.
it’s a fun ride, but. idk. lost interest by the end. 8/10.
