It's 6:45 and the Valium is onboard. This is real time not like yesterday which was real when I was writing but what I was writing wasn't real, I was imagining how I would feel right now and so far I was kinda off. At the moment, I'm more curious than anything else. I'm wondering about my surgeon as he's going to work. He'll be operatinag first thing Monday morning which is now and a few minutes from now. I'm thniking back to my own workday Monday mornings and trying to recall how I operated on those days and pretty sure I wasn't at my best. I can only hope that my suergeon had a great Thanksgiving but is glad to be back at work doing something that he has been trained to do and will exercise his skills and occupy his mind and guide his hands. It's dark out yeah so I was right about that which is the easiest thing to predict. I've got my short sleeve shirt on as required. I guess the Valiium that's now onboard will relieve my tension and relax me enough to welcome the sedation and slip off into the ozone where the work can get done and then an hour or so later, back in the car and ten minutes after that back here for a quick snapshot of what really went down and how I'm feeling about where I am and where I'm going.
Might as wll start with the real time whichis 9:o8. Im back at the desk and my face is wraoows uo with gauze that have been placed over the surgical area.
On the wym we had the radiio playing and the song Nive and Easy does it ser a nice tone and the Valium helped. We got to the office a little early and waited in the parking lot where Lynn worker a wordle.. She git the last foru letters and they were ILE....I suggested that she add GU and yup GUILE was the correct word.
We opened the door and the receotionists were opresent. We took care of the usual administrivia and the next thing I knew, I was heading deeper into the office, towards where the work would be done.
My legs were shaky prolly because od the Valium but my thniking was clear and senses obsevrant. We found the operating roo. I got up ito the chair. They took my blood pressure which was 123 over 77. They said that was good.
The Dr. came in and said "hello". I asked him how his Thankgiving wbet and he said great. I asked him if he was ready to go. He saud yeah, I asked him if this was prett routine,,,He said yeah, it's what we do, In the meantime he put in the sedation needle. I don't remeber passing out or sleeping all I remember is him saying "it's all done. No problem. You did great,
I had an ice pack on my face. I tried to tell a joke but thegauze in my mouth made me hard to understand. Te docor had vamoosed so I was trying to joke with his two assistants.
Then I was wheeled back into the main lobby where Lynn was waiting. Altogehter 40 minutes had passed since the nurse took me back to the surgical area.
We got in the car with my face wrapped in and ice pack and my mouth filled with gauze. I still wasn'r walking right but prettty sure that was the Valium.
All of that's behind me now. Wha's left is the healing and that's starting now and the novocain has kicked in so I'm in the illusion that this pain won't be too bad.
Lynnn scambled a couple eggs that I washed down with OJ and the recommended 600 mg of Iduprofen which I was instructed to take before the pain started,)
So there we are today is comlpete. The teeth are gone. The pain hasn't started yet. The Valium is I suppose on board.

"Medreyga in Hungary, Jan. 7, 1732. Upon a current Report, that in the Village of Medreyga certain Dead Bodies (called here Vampyres) killed several Persons by sucking out all their Blood, the present Enquiry was made by the Honourable Commander in Chief; and Capt. Gorschutz of the Company of Stallates, the Hadnagi Bariacar, and the Senior Heyduke of the Village, were severally examined: Who unanimously declared, that about five Years ago a certain Heyduke named Arnold Paul was killed by the overturning of a Cart-Load of Hay, who in his Life-time was often heard to say, that he had been tormented near Cascaw, and upon the Borders of Turkish Servia, by a Vampyre; and that to extricate himself, he had eaten some of the Earth of the Vampyres Graves, and rub'd himself with their Blood.
"That 20 or 30 Days after the Decease of the said Arnold Paul, several Persons complained that they were tormented; and that, in short, he had taken away the Lives of four Persons. In order, therefore to put a Stop to such a Calamity, the Inhabitants of the Place, after having consulted their Hardnagi, caused the Body of the said Arnold Paul to be taken up, 40 Days after he had been dead, and found the same to be fresh, and free from all manner of Corruption; that he bled at the Nose, Mouth, and Ears, as pure and florid Blood as ever was seen; and that his Shroud and Winding Sheet were all over bloody; and lastly, his Finger and Toe-Nails were fallen off, and new ones grown in their room.
"As they observed from all these Circumstances, that he was a Vampyre, they according to Custom drove a stake through his Heart; at which he gave a horrid Groan, and lost a great deal of Blood. Afterwards they burnt his Body to Ashes the same day, and threw them into his Grave.
"These good Men say farther, that all such as have been tormented or killed by the Vampyres, become Vampyres when they are dead; and therefore they served several other Dead Bodies as they had done Arnold Paul's, for tormenting the Living,
"Sign'd,
"Batruer, First Lieutenant of the Regiment of Alexander.
"Flickheuger, Suergeon Major to the Regiment of Furstenburch.
"-----------three other Surgeons.
"Gurschitz, Captain a Staliath."

“Reddington’s her father? I can’t say I’m surprised.” - Nik
Dr. Nik removed a bullet from Red’s chest. If Red were once Katarina, Dr. Nik would’ve known since 2x19, considering there’d be a huge scar where each breast would’ve been. Doesn’t matter how good a surgeon is, they’d be visible.
The Rederina twist would do nothing for this show, even if it were plausible. Not sure why people like it so much, but whatever.
