Shitty picture of my study table because I didn't have time to clean it properly. This is my official way to say that I'm back at studying hard. I have some dp from college, so if I don't focus on it I'll fail and have to stay more time then I estimate.
Hope you like my not so good pics;)

THE DIFFERENT PORTUGUESE
Well, after a long time ( the first post was writter at dec/2017, and I talk about the origin of portuguese language) I came back to talk more about portuguese.
Today I’m gonna explain a little bit about how different brazilian portuguese is different from portugal portuguese. ( Because I’m brazilian, so I feel more safe to explain. If you see this post and wants to contribute about what you know I would apreciate it very much)
And YES, It’s really different the vocabulary that both countries uses to talk about daily stuff, as panties or bread, ( Like, really. You could swear in one country or buy a different thing in another) So it’s confusing sometimes.
First of all becaus Brazil’s language has more influences from Tupi and Guarani tribes, and anothers countries invasions, as the dutchs, for example. And the country is HUGE, so the way people speak in south is really different than people from north.
So, when something like an Ortographic Agreement, it’s really hard to have the coutries more unite, to use “the same language”, because both countries had differents influences, so they have differents meanings for the vocabulary.
The thing with the Agrrement is to bring the countries mote together. Because, like, you can read a book that is written by an american writer or an english writer. It’s ok because in both countries you have the same word meaning the same things.
Here in BR there’s a way to say “bread” that literatly means “d***”. And panties here are the man’s underwear in portugal. ( there’s more examples, but these are the most commom ones)
So, as a Brazilian, it’s hard to play a game in portugal portuguese. As I can imagine for them that it isn’t nice to play a game in pt-br. And THAT’S WHY it’s important to have both languages translated.

[12/02] Day 4 of 100: Today was a day off day, but productive. We went to Sesc ( Some place here in my state where they offer culture for free) to have fun on Carnaval! We ate some new food on their menu, and my favorite one was a fennel pudding with lemon and dark chocolate. It's really good! Then my bf wanted to do some reides of Pokémon Go and record a video for his channel. So we did it! But he didn't get the Pokémon he wanted. Aaand now we're laying on his bed cuz we ate a lot of Brazilian barbecue AND some sushis! I did SO MUCH stuff today and I was SO HEALTHY. I'm proud of myself and that's why today was a productive day for me.

👅 ; 😂 ; 🧓 ; 📰 ; 📚 ;💤 ; 👩👧👦
👅 Hardest sound for you to make in your target lang?Hmm, in French I can’t do the “r” sound, as in quatre.
😂 Share a joke, pun, or meme in your target lang.
🧓 How many languages do you want to be able to speak before you turn 70?
I don’t know! I want to learn French because it’s a way to improve my resumé. But Japanese and Russian are two languages that I always wanted to learn for fun. And now I wish I could learn Esperanto and Latim.
📰 Go learn 5 new words in your target lang, and tell me what they mean.
qui - who | quoi - what | pourquoi - why | quand - when | où - where
They are, like, the first words I teach my students.
📚 Favorite language learning resources (Duolingo, Memrise, textbook, etc.)?
Duolingo. Cuz It’s free, and because I didn’t like Memrise that much. But I don’t know any other Language Learning Resource yet. Only a game that you play a RPG while learn the... hiraganas? katakanas?kanjis? It’s nice but difficult and I never really tried the game.
💤 Have you ever dreamt in your target language? What was it about?
When I was studying english I used to dream all the time! But once, after spending a hole week watching anime ( I miss this sweet part of my life, when I could spend the hole day watching stuff and still getting good grades) and then I dreamd that I was inside the story talking in japanese with the characters. ( I talked some words that they repeated, like, everytime)
👩👧👦 Favorite language family?
Obviously Indo- European

Origin of Portuguese
Hey! So this post is the frist one that I’ll write to talk a little bit more about portuguese. It’s my mother language and I really love the language and wanted to introduce you more and more about it.
( So if I wrote a mistake please let me know so I can edit)
Well, we study a lot of vocabulary and grammar when we’re learning a new language. If you pay a language course it normally teaches you about how the language “was born” and how it modified itself over time. So, let’s talk first about how portuguese was “created” so we can understand a little more easy how its grammar works.
So portuguese is one of the langagues that comes from vulgar latim. If you don’t remember your history classes, vulgar latim was the term used to refer to the vernacular dialects of Latin mainly spoken in the western provinces of the Roman Empire. It was used until the differentiation of the Roman languages.
When we talk about the languages that have an origin in the vulgar latin, normally we talk about Portuguese, French, Spanish (Castilian), Italian and Romanian. But there’s more, cuz these are the majoritary groups that use the vulgar latin. There’s the minorities groups as:
in the different regions of Spain, where the Catalan (which has the Valencian as dialect), the Aragonese, the Galician, the Asturian and the Leonese are spoken;
in Portugal, where Mirandese is spoken;
in the different regions of Italy, where the Lombard, the Veneto, the Ligurian, the Sicilian, the Piedmontese, the Neapolitan (with their dialectal variations) and the Sardinian are spoken;
in the south of France, where Occitan (which has Provencal and Gascon as dialects), French-Provencal and other dialectal languages derived from the language itself, such as Picard, Pictavo-Sántone and Norman, are spoken;
and in Switzerland, where Romansh is spoken.
Despite the influences of pre-Roman languages and invasions, the phonology, morphology, lexicon and syntax of all Roman languages are predominantly an evolution of Vulgar Latin. In particular, with only one or two exceptions, Romance languages have lost the declension system present in Latin and, as a result, have a SVO (Noun - Verb - Object) phrase structure and make extensive use of prepositions.
So the difference between portuguese and these others is on the invasions that Portugal had. We can say that portuguese is the mixture of vulgar latin with other european languages influency, and a substract of celtic. Archaic Portuguese developed in the 5th Century AD, after the fall of the Roman Empire and the Germanic invasions, called barbarian, as a Romanic dialect, the so-called Portuguese Galician, which differed from other Iberian Romance languages.
So, basically, if you already know one of these majorities languages you’ll learn more easly the others from the same group, because is the same structure. You just need to know more vocabulary!
Well, this is like, portuguese 101. Let me know what else should I talk about on my posts!

Hey guys, I was on my tl and read about not going to your dream university, and thought it would be nice sharing my experience with you guys!
So, here in my country we have private and public universities. Both of them are hard to get, and we have scholarships for the private ones, cuz the really good ones are really expensives.
I studied hard to go study in another city, in a public university. The first time I made the exams I didn’t pass. I was SO bad at it that I wanted to cry, and only cry. I saw all my friends getting into universities and I was there looking for everything that I didn’t do because I wanted to study. My mom paid for one “university course” so I could re-do the exams next year, and these kinda couses exists to prepare you only to make the exams.
I studied more that year, my boyfriend helped me a lot! Aaaaand I PASSED! Can you imagine it? I was flying! I couldn’t believe that I got such achievement.
Then my dad looked at me and said that “None of his daugther is getting out of this city to study.” And in the next day he got me to this local and private university to make my registration(?). I was SO SAD!
But I could’t work back at that time, so I had to say ok and go with it. But Until 2015 I still was so mad with him not letting me follow my dream.
Now I’m graduated! I have a degree in both Portuguese and English and I can teach people not only grammar but literature too. This wasn’t what I first thought I would be doing right now, but I feel glad with what happened. Now I can work ( normally I correct school works/universities works) and I can finally study another thing.
That’s why I started studing French. Because now the goal is to do a master’s degree abroad! Well, all I want to say is: Is ok to be sad! But I can assure you that now Is gonna be SO different! First of all, you graduated from high school! That’s an awesome thing! But now you have other path to make your own. Just be brave! You’ll gonna like it, no matter where you study! Make it good for you! And now you can do things you wanted but never did! So go ahead, and make it happen. Because one thing that I learned with this is that it doesn’t matter at all where you’re studing, what matters is how you gonna take these years for now to make a huge difference.
( Really, as I couldn’t get work in my first year I didi a lot of these extracurricular classes, such as screenplay classes, sign languages, braile classes, proficient exams... This things make a huge difference in the future, just believe me!)

[04/02] Day 2 of 100: Today was a nice day. I finally had some time to start my February bujo page, I had time to play Overwatch with my bf and bff... The only thing I've tried but didn't accomplish was read Akira. Akira seems to be a very good hq/manga but I'm not in the mood for reading. For this week I want to do 2 things: 1) finish reading a book and 2) dying my hair blonde. Hope I can do it.

Introduction!!!
Hello! I’m Lola and I’m new at the Studyblr. Like, so new that I don’t have so much of inspirations tumblrs, but keep in mind that these few ones are the ones who inspired me, first to study and now to create my own studyblr. I used to use this as @/caixinha-de-retalhos, where I publish my favorite book quotes. But I don’t know if I’ll keep doing this now. ( These are my favorite books, I thought it was a nice way to introduce myself too, as I really love reading)
General
Lola is my nickname
Birthday: 17/08
Leo
I’m a Stlytherclaw
I graduated in “Languages” ( Portuguese and English) So I can be a teacher of both literatures.
I study English since I’m 9, but I’m never too confident of my english.
Interests
I love to read, Everything, Everywhere.
I loooove movies, specially Spirited Away and The Wind Lives.
I’m learning how to draw. But I’m terrible.
Series and animes are my thing. Sometimes I want to stop learning french just to focus on learning japanese bc I just love so much animes.
videogames. Love to watch people play. ( But I play a few, like Overwatch, Silent Hill...)
Why a studyblr?
Because I have to stay focus on leraning a new language and now I’m just being that lazy student.
I have only 4 month classes, so my vacations are about to start and then only on march/2018 they’ll come back. I don’t want to stop studying.
I never knew how to learn a language. As Portuguese and English were so natural for me, now I just don’t know where to start.
To know more people who speaks languages I know and I’m learning. ( Cause english is easy to find, but not french speakers )
Inspirations
@academla @bookmocha @studypool @thestudydog @becomingproductive @getstudyblr @thearialligraphyproject
That’s it. I’m looking for more studyblrs to follow, so if you like this post I’ll make sure to follow you. Thanks <3

This week was crazy! I had my first french test ( I’m not good talking, but I nailed the written/ listen part) I had a job where I had to write about two brazilian poets and how they wrote about solitude. But I didn’t know nothing, and spent four days only reeding others articles to understand it.
I felt really bad these days, my anxiety went to high levels so easy that I’d prefer not to post anything here.
Tomorrow is Comic Con here, and I’m doing a Ritchie Tozier 2017 cosplay. I’m really nervous too because I’ll meet some of my internet friends AND my favorite artist: Picolo!!! He draw so many good Teen Titans stuff that I’m really in love. That’s why here have been with so little posts. I didn’t have time to post more. BUT now I’m totally back!
