Hi everyone! I’m doing some update because tomorrow I have my free day so let me tell you:

About my personal life: I’m doing fine, I’m finding time for myself and my friends a trying new stuff and respecting my limits. Also I’m waiting a promotion in my job that is already conceived but it takes times….very slow. Besides I’m with my driving license so that’s why I’m taking my time.

About my personal projects: I put a pause in my illustrated book of Eclipsed until I pass the written part of my exam. So I would continue after that. But also I was considering other little projects some of them still secret.🤐 But I want to do simpler illustration to practice because this style is pretty entertaining to investigate: I tried on my favourite video game characters from my childhood: Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank and Crash Bandicoot. Honestly it looks funny but cool and simple. I still like my other art styles but I like to try new things.

Anyway, I’ll do a next post making a poll of what idea I could develop next.

Some of my most cherished belongings: in 2005, I saw that Sly 3 had a demo at E3, and wrote a letter to Sucker Punch asking if they had any available. They sent this nice card back to me and promised to send a demo when they had copies. I don't remember what story questions I asked, but it was probably something about Sly's dad or the Clockwerk eggs if I had to guess.

And true to their word they did send the demo which I put untold hours into, which featured the original opening with Sly on the beach and some stuff that was changed for the final game. Sly has a different move instead of the charge attack, having little jabs that build up to the spin. Bentley is a lot stretchier in the demo (and in a "yeah I can see why you changed that" moment uses his legs as an attack as he spins his wheelchair around instead of the gadgets in the final game).

I'll always be grateful to Sucker Punch for this 💖

"When we set out to make a new Ghost game, we wanted to maintain the core pillars established in Ghost of Tsushima: playing a wandering warrior in Feudal Japan, offering freedom to explore at your own pace, and highlighting the beauty of the world.

We also wanted to continue to innovate. To create something fresh but familiar, we looked beyond Jin Sakai's story and the island of Tsushima, and shifted our focus to the idea of the Ghost instead. At Sucker Punch we love origin stories, and we wanted to explore what it could mean to have a new hero wearing a Ghost mask, and uncovering a new legend. This lead us to Ghost of Yotei: a new protagonist a new story to unfold, and a new region of Japan to explore.

While we aren't diving into story specifics yet today, we can reveal that Atsu's journey takes place in 1603, more than 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. Our story is set in the lands surrounding Mount Yotei, a towering peak in the heart of Ezo, an area of Japan known as Hokkaido in present day. In 1603, this area was outside the rule of Japan, and filled with sprawling grasslands, snowy tundras, and unexpected dangers. It's a far cry from the organized samurai clans who lived in Tsushima, and it's the setting for an original story we can't wait to tell."

pre-playthrough doodles for mouthwashing [bit shite since i only referenced the steam page to avoid spoilers beforehand]❗

okay, so- i drew these lot before playing the actual game (maybe spoilers? went off the steam page photos/videos for references.) anyways here' my artistic breakdown in order of who got drawn first.

Jimmy - I knew he was the protagonist, went OKAY SO HE'S TRIPPING BALLS based on the trippy horse/pony and eye imagery in the trailers. Each eye for a different crewmember. Obligatory 'main character? of course, draw him first that's the privilege.' HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-

Anya - She's really really pretty- um- I based her off this one scene from 'Pearl' because there were axe references made. Decided that she deserved a kick ass axe. Also the only character I had somewhat spoilers for since I watched an animatic on the 'dead pixel' scene a week before I got into this. Also, as the tired looking nurse, I would buy her crocs or something. Genuinely need to draw her again and properly.

Daisuke - Thought his shìrt was nice, did a little MIKU MIKU BEAM for him to show off his rings. Honestly didn't have much of him to go off but he reminds me of someone I know irl. He like me fr fr I love his design so much I need to figure out his shirt pattern.

Swansea - TBH IM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS DOODLE BECAUSE AFTER PLAYING THAT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE HIM. Based him off that one jester painting because he had disappointed dad feeling the end-times are coming after the match vibes. Met this guy before in a Tesco I sWEAR- I feel like he knows he's too old for this mouthwash bullshit. Spacing out all 'what the actual fuck'.

Curly - I... struggled so bad. With the bandages. Put him off until last. Harvey Dent has prepared me to draw eyes on the other side of the face like that. Want to do this man justice visually honest to God. Even if I genuinely believed he crashed the ship at the time because of the steam page. I played both 'How Fish Is Made' and 'The Last One And Then Another' before drawing these, and I loved meeting him as a little fish ball thing. Gave him the cake, too, since I assumed it would be his birthday at some point?

- Anya and Jake are a 10/10, they make a cute couple and honestly might have them as a genuine ship because I think their possible dynamic would be so cute

- Sarah Christ and Tim Wright is so crazy and so funny. They are truly a crack ship that only Tomodachi Life can breed. 7/10. Love it. I wanna see where this goes.

- Blue Jones and Jay Merrick, I think I took psychological damage from it. I… they met like five minutes ago and then Jay was in love with him… I’m being so fr rn. Jay… oh Jay… you have no clue what’s about to happen… Thoughts and prayers for our beloved twink Jay 🙏💙

Sly 2: Band of Thieves | Saturday, 09.14.24

On this day, Sly 2: Band of Thieves (sequel to Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus) was developed by Sucker Punch Productions and released on the PlayStation 2 by Sony Computer Entertainment America in North America 20 years ago!

And, according to Metacritic (as of 2024), it's still the highest rated game in the series (with a metascore average of 88 out of 100).

A year later, it was followed by Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves (2005).

Have a little something from LA Lonely -> this is after the fun and orgasms of Buck and Eddie’s hook up. Still don’t know if I’m going to go full spice 🌶️ or just do a quick little run down of things.

Buck expects him to start pulling his clothes on and to give him the whole “this was fun, but I gotta bounce” speel, but Eddie surprises him by climbing back into bed and nudging Buck to roll onto his side so Eddie can scoot up behind him and hold him.

Buck freezes for a moment because no one does this. They have their fun and then they leave. They don’t stay and they definitely don’t cuddle.

Eddie must feel him go tense because his hold loosens and he moves as if he’s about to pull away. “Is this okay?”

Buck grabs at the arms that are wrapped around him, stopping Eddie’s descent. “Y-yeah. It’s-it’s okay.” He pulls at Eddie’s arms and the man settles back behind him, burrowing his face into the juncture where Buck’s neck meets his shoulder as he shuffles closer.

Soft kisses are pressed into his skin and Buck is helpless but to relax back into Eddie, letting the comfort and warmth of whatever is happening wrap around him.

“Stay?” He whispers, not sure if Eddie can hear him but not being brave enough to say it any louder. He feels like he’s asking too much.

A kiss behind his ear. “Okay.”
