like, it's really fun how fontaine starts spiralling out the closer jack gets to him in the final arc of the game and returns to appropriating the image of family (the fake family in the beginning, the flawed father position later) to try and appeal to jack in some way but it's like. buddy. baby. you already took off your mask. anything you try and put on after this is going to come across as cheap and desperate. the magic is gone! and personally? I'm hooting and hollering

I fucking love the Bioshock audio diaries so much. The characters just literally recorded themselves bitching at/about each other and left the recordings around for any passing weirdo to find. It’s like 60s social media with slightly more fish.

Everything about Elizabeth just showing up in Rapture out of a hole made from thin air, tears showing up all over the city that open up for communication, and her becoming associated with Cohen in less than three months would definitely get Ryan's attention all right. Wouldn't be the good kind of attention, but she'd get his attention.

You think Ryan would really be okay with tears popping up? With Suchong's work, which is essentially Ryan Industries property, being stolen and Fink spying on him? That'd he suddenly offer her a job and tell her how special she is? No, he'd assume she's a spy and she'd get a one-way-ticket to Persephone.

honestly, the would you kindly scene is whatever to me*, code yellow is the more interesting violation/betrayal of the body because of how beautifully it escalates the Fontaine reveal/betrayal and shows how ugly some of those ‘locks and keys’ that Tenenbaum mentions are. not only have you been a tool in another man’s hand this entire time, it goes deeper. your body is not your own.
