Sins + Clique

The seven sins tend to stick near each other only separating for short periods. They do this not only because they are all familiar with each other and enjoy each others company, but also because they can often be found working the same souls.

Hansen’s Jewelers, Nightshade Speakeasy, Sabra’s Fine Art Gallery are all on the same street. Hansen’s and Nightshade connected through a door way near the back of the shop. Above the bar is Neel’s therapy office, Anaya’s recording studio, and Cadman’s consulting office.

Sabra’s Fine Art Gallery is one door down from Hansen’s. Above the gallery are luxury apartments each owned by one of the sins.

On the roof of the apartments is a green house used to grow most of Vera’s poisons and herbs for her bar.

I think when Ryan first moved to the U.S. and was introduced to the concept of Daylight Savings, he instantly hated it. It took him a long time for him to adjust to it, due to Belarus and Turkey not participating in it.

When he entered the workforce, he always took up the opportunity to complain about it to everyone who mentioned it. Then, when he created Rapture, he made sure not to add it. He didn't care what anyone said.

small headcanon for andrew ryan :explosion:

ryan has a huge love-hate relationship with animals. he doesnt like bears, leopards or any other animal that is heavily related to slavic culture because of what happened to him as a kid. also his beliefs play apart in it too.

then, for a long time, when he moved to the us, he loved eagles for what they represented. though, as soon as the government tried to take his land, that tainted his view of the bird.

but throughout all of this, he has always loved cats, especially since he grew up in constantinople(istanbul), and they adore cats. so much so, most of the citizens there put them on a metaphorical, but holy pedestal.

1. She spends way too much time playing with John’s hair. She’s pretty obsessed with it and refuses to let him cut it or anything. 

2. Their relationship for Kira starts as pretty much a sexual thing and cause she’s bored. The more time she spends with him the more human she feels and less like a demon and for whatever reason she likes the feeling. 

3. Kira ends up allowing John to keep the pentacost coin. She never cashes in her favor from him because she thinks he’s suffered more than enough.

4. Due to her station as a deadly sin, she gets the occasional visit from a lower demon and will tell john where they are so he can rid her of them.

Neapolitan: an intimacy/vulnerability (or lack thereof) headcanon.@parasolsandpills

   Kira hates being called ‘kitten’, even if her demon side takes after a big cat. There are two who can call her kitten without being killed. She craves actual intimacy not the shit she pretends with the humans she preys upon. Despite being a demon, Kira wants to be loved.

    Don’t tell anyone but she has a soft spot for stray cats. She takes care of them and finds them homes or adds them to her giant cat sanctuary.

Kira: They’re easy to break, their pain is so enjoyable. Other than that they can be so.... dull.

Gideon: I’m still not sure what mother dearest sees in them. Oh and they’re disgusting, I’m a demon just like the rest of them but for mother’s sake how can you not smell yourselves.

Not unlike Angels, Demon’s have a hierarchy.

Appearances are everything: Unmasking

Angels and Fallen hide their features but during episodes of increased emotion or when they choose to their eyes will return to their nearly pitch black coloring with red flecks and striations. Most of the sins will not and refuse to show their true eyes unless needed.

The fallen and others that serve below them tend to have tattoos of their wing on their shoulders at least one side. Their wings are each individual and different, most tend to be dark in color or be similar to the animal traits they’ve taken on.

1. Bambi - Book and Disney Film - Direct influence - 1921(ish)              Kira was in Germany exploring new places needing a change in scenery while helping a rather rich gentleman cheat on his wife. She met a man named Felix Salten who told her about his book he was writing and she was thrilled the idea was already enough to be an international influence but to make it better she convinced him that the young deer should loose his mother adding to his struggles. Salten agreed and made the change, thus proceeding to rip at the hearts of readers. Twenty years later her influence affected the creation of the animated film which many say that the death of ‘Bambi’s’ Mother is traumatizing.
