Hello to you too mutual!, it is true we don't talk too much but I'm sure we eventually will!!.

I would like to share like, a long thing but I don't think I could extend something about myself THAT long, not because I don't like it but more of how????? how do I write that much???? Maybe I can let's see.

So I preffer to do a little funfact thing??? Not sure how to call it but here it goes:

-Medicine!!! It was (AND STILL) my first interest since kid, I'm in the career and working hard for it.

-I like a game called Creatures of Sonaria and I was like a walking wikipedia of that thing. Creature prices??? Gotcha, creature name and stats??? No problem here you go, the lore of each creature??? easy, STAFF AND MODERATION TOO??? YEAHHH.

-My very close friends often (all days) call me a deaf, blind and forgetful old man.

Hi!! I was just thinking I might need to reactivate my reddit account and find a gardening sub to ask questions and then I found you! Do you know anything about cacti? Not succulents, like actual cacti. I bought a teeny tiny prickly pear cactus on vacation in Arizona and it was an adventure in and if itself getting it back home to southwest Ohio. I'm afraid it got a little shocked due to the temperature change but so far the little research I've been able to do says a heat lamp isn't the answer. I haven't taken it out of it's plastic pot yet bc I don't want to shock it further, but it's really very little (maybe 4in tall at the most, it does have a bunch of paddles but the biggest one is only about as big as my thumbnail) and the pot is roughly 6in tall by 5in wide if I had to guess, so I think I can keep it in there until I'm sure it's well enough to move. I just really really don't want it to die. Do you have any advice? Should I get a heat lamp anyway? Thank you in advance for anything you can tell me 💚

I don't have a ton of advice or experience necessarily with succulents or cacti, but I asked some friends in the gardening server so here's what I've got!

General consensus is the cactus probably just needs time to adjust. Get a grow light for it, since they typically need a good bit of light to grow and thrive and not get leggy. Don't worry about a heat lamp though.

Regarding watering, if you're worried about that, consider getting an alert set up where it lets you know if it's raining in Arizona (bonus points if you can get it for the specific place it's from) and water it during those times.

I hope you have success with it! Do you know the specific kind of prickly pear you have?

I got a question about one of your AUs. The one where Ichigo and Grimmjow are plants. After they get together and have their... kid, does the kid get their own pot? Or do they stay with Grimmjow? Do they have more afterwards??

I think we discussed this on our private wip channel on Discord; so I’ll tell you what I remembered we headcanoned;;

Lil baby def stays in Grimm’s pot for a bit, just until he grows up a bit,,, and also so Grimm can let him go without trying to will himself into growing spines too so he can attack poor Orihime and Tatsuki when they suggest he get his own pot.

When he does leave tho— it’s like all the horny energy that’d been accumulating, all locked inside for baby’s sake, suddenly bursts out of them 😂😂 their neighbors have never been so uncomfortable, Tatsuki installs a curtain on their window just so they can slam it shut on them when they’re being particularly loud.

… “accidental” children happen again, though, definitely. They don’t learn 😂 They’ll probably have to inaugurate a room all for their little guys…. might have to start adopting them out too but Grimm and Ichigo may oppose to that 😂💕

Thinking about that one anon's dream that had Eve in it. Thinking about how it would have affected V1 in the long run.

Would it be gentler to the human-like enemies? Would it still kill them to put them out of their misery? Would it search in every face of every demon and husk it fought for a hint of what they lost?

Would V1 have wiped it's memory of Eve? To not get in the way of its programming? To be able to cope with their loss?

Would they have hard coded her into themselves, to never forget her? Or to carry the memory of punishment, of what they could not save?

Thinking thinking thinking.

Thinking about how Eve essentially showed a machine that was capable of so much violence and only knew of that blood and war that even it could remain in comfort and live instead of survive.

Thinking about how it could combine with your shipping, how it's time with Eve is reflected in how it shows their love with Gabriel, or that it finds a sweet mirror in the love given to them.

Thinking about how maybe it picks up pottery, and that they drag Gabriel into it too. I wonder if the patterns the two make are reflective of their personalities. Each of the angels absolutely end up with their own vase, probably fitting them in some way.

GOD FR ;o; i do like to think of v1 retaining something of that memory, though it has become corrupted and difficult for it to consciously interpret - however, that can't override its war programming and how it was made to take human life above anything else. a pessimist would see v1 and believe that nothing had changed about it, that it forgot the person that had showed it kindness to revert near instantly back to its callous objectives, but that's not entirely true either. v1, for me, can only overcome its programming on a case-by-case basis and it absolutely has to fight its code on it, to the point that it is nearly exhausting...but what could show more love? so i don't think v1 would care anymore than it ever did for things that appear more human - they are what it was created and trained to kill - but i think it does seek recognition of someone it once knew unconsciously. because a few rare people in its memory are special. it doesn't know if it can see them in husks, but its computer tries anyway.

but i absolutely do think an experience like that would help guide v1 in how to be gentler with gabriel, especially when they get that apartment. its half-memories would fill it and gabriel would swear he sees nostalgia in it...it makes him wonder for the first time what v1's life has been, what its existence was before it ever came to hell. yet it can really tell him nothing as it tries to access corrupted file after corrupted file...it's frustrating to even try, so gabe thinks instead v1 should just follow the whims they provide and see if it can restore anything that way. he would absolutely love taking up pottery with it, and their pieces definitely would be quite different - v1 loves its sharp angles while gabriel tries for flowing, graceful forms....although they both know they're terrible at it to start. but v1 also tries to recreate the little vase in its mind, the one it lost a long time ago, and it's quite different than anything else it does. when questioned about it, it does tell gabriel that someone had this. a long time ago. it doesn't remember who and it doesn't remember where, just the vase. it leaves gabriel very quiet as he comes to understand that v1 knew people...or at least it knew someone. all he can hope for is that they're still around.

hello!! I just read the last CN chapter (for like, the 5th(?) time) and ahhhh it has me filled with so many emotions. he has it. he took it out of the frame & folded it into a tiny paper swan & carried it around with him everywhere. it serves as a reminder that she's alive & human & he can't go back home. (if he goes back he kills her. & then the little swan must die per the law of the cranes. lol)

if he left the drawing behind...

he would have stared at it. for hours. probably why he took so long to pack tbh
