when of if i started shipping it: i think it was like. around when they started to move in together??? i just?? ? ? it felt really interesting and really real

my thoughts: haha h shit juli/abel has always been a massive otp like. there was no planning, no plotting, no talk of it -- unlike juli's other relationships at the time like. it was nice to have something so natural and they bounce off each other so well. they're these dumb barely adults living in a dumb cottage in the middle of the words it's perfect.

what makes me happy about them: AAH i love juli making him pancakes and abel making her laugh and juli stealing his clothes like he ck

  The main goal at the moment is to avoid punching the innocent children who don't know better about staring at his Burden of Thirteen tattoo. Actually, the main goal is to buy some brownies and smuggle them back into the township for him to snack on for the next week. (And to avoid getting caught--members of the community aren't allowed to leave the township unless they're an elder or have special permissions. Neither of which he has.)

She's been trying to get his attention for about a block now, but apparently (and quite unsurprisingly; this never works) increasing the volume of her footsteps isn't doing the trick. Truth be told, Cancey wants to be the one to tell him as much as the next guy, but the overall nervousness that comes with sharp dressed men is kind of distracting her from the goal.

A pivotal step to narrowly avoid knocking into two strangers is the final straw. Heart momentarily still in her chest, she reaches forward, grabs his sleeve and gives a tug.

"Sir. There's, um. There's an enormous tear in your jacket, I'm afraid and -- you might be bleeding, but that could just be the way the light's reflecting your flesh."

Always best to not rule out the possibility of misleading lighting. God she hopes that's the case. "You, uh -- okay or what?"

how i feel about this character: Y'ALL READY FOR THIS abel moreau is a fucking DREAM. he has the capability of being so like ~cool guy wow nothing gets to me~ but he's a lot deeper than that??? like he's brave, and funny, and a total idiot but he owns up to who he is and he embraces it and damn man i want those ghosts to leave him alone for a night he needs a break
