In that case it'd be better to just have "Spider-Verse" and then specific-subbook freeforms tags, me thinks.

Okay, this is why this whole event is A Mess.

The first event, Spider-Verse, is 33 issues in total. Then the next event chronologically is Web Warriors, which has 11 (12 if we count the tie-in to SG in Superior Octopus) issues but is something happening between Spider-Verse and Spider-Geddon. Spider-Geddon has 23 issues in total. End of Spider-Verse, 12 issues (but they're on the 4th volume of Spider-Man and the tie-ins are called Edge of Spider-Verse Vol. 2). And now they're resurrecting the event with "Spider-Society", only 4 volumes in total (with that name, the tie-ins are more but I haven't had the time to count them).

There's even a fucking animated special called Spider-Verse in Ultimate Spider-Man S04. Jesus.

So, the event, as a whole, is... around 90, maybe almost 100?, issues in total. But the sub-books can't be bothered to be more than 10, no.

I have a lil' question about the MARVEL comics tagging! Specifically... about the Hot Mess(TM) the Spider-Verse is when we talk about the comics.

My question is if the Spider-Verse would be like a "catch-all fandom" for all the "sub-books" that fall in there (as in: Edge of the Spider-Verse, Web Warriors, Edge of the Spider-Geddon, Spider-Geddon, End of Spider-Verse, Spider-Society) and the specific sub-book would better suit a freeform tag, or if every one of those little messes would count as a different fandom enterily? Or, maybe, a secret third thing ('cuz TBH my mind can't think about other alternative RN and maybe you have one already)?

I'm really curious about this, since the way you're managing the tagging in this archive (and in Ad Astra) is pretty neat and really comprehensible! So also thank you for that.

How big are we talking for the sub-books? Because like a short run of 10 would be best as a freeform, but something with a lot of history or a long run (and likely a lot of works!) would be a main fandom.
