Just throwing this out there. Power to weight ratio is a real thing. Even my 98 LGT wagon is probably closer to the GC/GF Impreza's highest weight after a ton of weight reduction and weighs less than any modern Impreza past '02. Honestly hate how huge the Impreza, Forester and Legacy/Outback got over the years after the GD/BD & GG/BG/BK/SG chassis.

Surprisingly the newer Impreza (STI version) isn't crazy heavier but still heavier and bigger nonetheless. Why only sedans?! No more Impreza WRX/STI hatch only the lifted ass Crosstrek?

I mean look how massive my friends 2020 Outback XT looks compared to my 98. It's like a foot taller and longer. Ground clearance of a truck but we can't get a Subaru truck, cool. Why no more car height Legacy wagons? Not to mention they created huge blinds spots with the stupid D pillars and tiny rear quarter glass compared to the full "paranaramic view" of the 98, I have like zero blind spots.

+20 year juxtaposition.

Why did we get the ridiculously massive (+2 tons) and cartoonish Ascent? No 2-4 door ute or truck? No awd coupe? No more Impreza STI/WRX hatch, only Crosstreks? No more Legacy wagons, only Outbacks? Oh but hey Subaru (only with Toyota) did give us the 2 door BRZ. That is only RWD and no turbo option? Lame. This gripe may be partially due to my location, US.

Anyways, rant over. Bigger is not always better and more HP's don't always equal faster when you weigh hundreds of pounds more than the other dude, me? 🙃 Have fun driving your 2 ton turbro bricks.

ROSIE RIDES ONCE MORE

Had her torn apart for a week waiting on parts to show up but finished both sides today. New '06 STI aluminum control arms, new front wheel bearings (kill me, i never want to do those again), and new wheel speed sensors since the old ones looked fucked. And new drivers side front axle. Needs an alignment but still handles noticeably better!

We officially entewred (entered) the "Fawwing Weaves" "Falling Leaves", a.k.a. "Autumn Season"! 🍂🗓️😄And we here somewhere in the beautiful pawking wot stawing (parking lot staring) at the stunning view of hiwws (hills) and wandscapes (landscapes), while sipping ouwr (our) cup of warm pumpkin watte (latte) made by myself! Yum-yum! 🎃☕😋 A gweat dwink duwing (great drink during) this particuwawr (particular) season, especially the annual Halloween! 😊 Adding to a warming moment, I gave hewr (her) a nice spawre (spare) of A/W cwothes (clothes), which is a nice snuggle! 🥰🤗 By the way, this is my nowrmal (Mitsubishi) Pajewo cawr (normal Pajero car) 🇯🇵🚙⭐ custom for genewal (general) use, but don't wowwy (worry), though, I still have my twusty Subawu Fowestewr (trusty Subaru Forester) STi [SG9] 🇯🇵🚙⭐ inside my gawrage (garage), and I'm still wowrking (working) on the custom pawrts (parts) like fendewrs (fenders), and mowre (more). 🔧⚙️🤔 But, wight (right) now, wet (let) us enjoy ouwr (our) Autumn moment. *breathing and inhaling his nose for an autumn fresh air* Aaahhh...
