Okay so apparently Sub Rosa and Threshold Days are in the same week, which feels like overkill, but here's my contribution (reading the wikipedia article)

This is from the reception section of the wikipedia article and I just find it very funny that it is dated to 2017, like, prior to 2017 no one was aware that Sub Rosa may be scary or eerie, this is new knowledge obtained in the year of our lord twenty seven teen.

Happy Sub Rosa Day! I wrote something ridiculous. As you probably heard, Beverly has a big secret to be revealed in Star Trek: Picard season three. It's rumored/suggested/imagined to be a son with Picard she kept from Jean-Luc for reasons. This begat the following chat with @liz-squids:

Liz: Descript rendered "then, Picard" as "Ben Picard", and now I'm like, "what if the series ends with Picard's Secret Son killing him?" Anika: The big Beverly reveal is she's a Skywalker aka Weapon of Galactic Destruction. Liz: It'd explain Wesley. Anika: I should write a quick and dirty "surprise I'm Beverly Skywalker" fic pre season 3. Liz: Ronin is Palpatine's ghostsona.
