I'll be honest; I haven't watched Steven Universe in a hot second, and I have probably forgotten some details about Onion as a result. But I think that, despite his controversy within the fandom, he deserves to join the found family. He's just a kid - a weird, strange kid, sure, but a kid. I remember thinking he was an odd character too, but looking back on it I think he's oddly charming - except maybe when he went to set a roller-coaster (?) on fire or whatever. Ultimately hes just a lil guy…

Come on, we've literally taken in the rest of this family and I feel bad for him being left on his own. I know Onion weirds some people out, but at the end of the day he's a non-verbal little kid who could well be somewhere on the autistic spectrum. And sometimes autism isn't pretty and needs a little extra support from a caring community. So please give him a chance. He's only committed funny crimes anyway
