Not to still be on this like 10 years later, but I’ve just had a realization on why the whole brutasha thing in AOU rubbed me the wrong way. Like not only did it come out of no where, the actors barely had any chemistry, and the writers wanted us to believe that they were super into each other after working together like (that we saw prior) once.

But the part that really gets me is the well established fact that they didn’t trust each other. Like, Bruce makes it abundantly clear that he doesn’t trust Natasha or her profession and Natasha is shown on multiple occasions that she is afraid of him/the hulk/ what he can do. So I guess the idea of them as a compatible couple just doesn’t even register.

Anyway, just shouting into the void over here, so just ignore me

man, having more than one kin from the same (well…… basically the same) source and knowing the same character in both, but that character was wildly different between the two…. feels weird man (tbh the timelines in general are wildly different from one another lmao)

like, when I was Ben, X was really chill. i mean sure, he was chaotic as fuck, “this bitch bites” type shit (reference to a shirt i saw once lol), but he wasn’t mean or a bad person (not to my current memories of him, lmao)

But as Jade (if that was even my name lol)?? X was like. Uh. Okay so, for those out there that are familiar with The Boys….. The best I can describe this iteration of the character is that he was a lot like H*melander. For those who don’t know what I mean by that, I deeply envy you! Just know it’s bad. Really bad!

Anyways yeah. Mixed feelings about that guy rn cause being in the Jade kinshift is making me feel weird (/neg) when i remember him but because its the same source (technically) I also think of when I was Ben and i go “but he was so nice when i was Ben :(“ and just ughhhh

Being multikin to the point of a kinlist that’s impossible to keep tabs on can be wild and sucky sometimes. The contradicting timelines go crazy.

Anyways. Yeah I wanted to rant abt that. I’ll probably be back about this kin though tbh, the things im feeling cause of this shift(?) are weirdly vivid and, I guess intense? despite me not having a ton of memories other than…. worldbuilding, I guess… But i feel like Im gonna remember more soon and it’s gonna just snowball down the mountain, ykwim?

Anyone want a car? I’m selling it fr 😑😑

Seriously, first my window, now my driver’s side lock won’t work, and my passenger side window won’t roll up. So now I can’t drive it to work, because it is the winter (snow, cold!!) and I can’t park it on the street (again; snow, questionable people!!). And I can’t get it fixed until Tuesday. Oh, and apparently my warranty won’t cover it. Hooray.
