Proposal - St.Van

(Admin: Byeul, I’m not going to do the smut bit because Ari does those on her Boyfriend! posts so I’ll leave that to her I think babyboiii already made on on Geumhyuk too idk what to call her tbh)

You know it’s coming, Geumhyuk is not good at being subtle. He will accidentally say something that alludes to what is to come and then stumble over himself in an attempt to correct it. You had originally been confused as to what made him decide to rent a private room at a fancy restaurant when both of you know that idols don’t make anything. Once he let it slip that he had a ring with him you knew exactly what was to come.

That doesn’t lessen your excitement any though. The fact that Geumhyuk was going through all of this trouble to propose to you, even renting a private room as to not pressure you with being in front of other people, Geumhyuk really is just the sweetest man you could ask for. Geumhyuk fiddles nervously with his hands and the end of his sleeves leaning in his seat while trying to keep the conversation going, clearly nervous and anxious.

“I have something that I want to ask,” Geumhyuk says hesitating on each word and you can see the nervousness clear in his eyes while he glances frantically over your features, “will you marry me?” His voice is weak and he seems like he might break down any second sliding the ring box across the table.

“Of course,” your voice comes out as a squeak when you take the ring box off of his hand, Geumhyuk rests his head on his arm letting out a heavy breath almost like he had been holding it in all night.

“I was so nervous,” he says with a small laugh he reaches blindly resting his hand on top of your own once he finds it, “I love you,” he mumbles against your arm running his thumb against the back of your hand.

“I love you too,” you say softly in return.
