I can't kitchen knife

I wanted to cut myself a piece of leftover dinner snausage and wasn't paying attention to what the hell I was doing and sliced right into my thumb.  Like, a huge flap of skin and all.  The cut is probably 1/5 of an inch into my skin, I stared at the knife IN MY BODY before I had the sense to remove it and that was before the "oh, hey, that kinda stings" hit me.  And then it started bleeding and I went down the hall to whine at my roommate.
