#stupid tumblr autoplay

When I put the tag "my dogs" on posts of Lily *and* Talia who spends a lot of time with me, it is for organisational purposes. Talia is a type of dog who bonds to one person and is different levels of friendly with others. Talia is close with me but my sister is *Her Person*.

It is adorable to witness. They are perfect for each other. In this video, sis left to get water for maybe two minutes.

You find out that I'm Lily's 'designated person' if she's dislocated something, has a splinter, matts or a rash - she goes very still and doesn't let anyone else touch her. She either shows me or lets me pick her up and roll her on her back somewhere comfortable to inspect it all.

Chihuahuas are clingy but that's also a really good thing if you make sure they never get possessive. It means they're just delighted to hang out as a lapdog or close by while you work or sleep. All the ones i'd seen on tv were not trained or very enfuriated by being treated as toys not dogs (no-one likes being grabbed from the floor without permission).

whoever decided to start implementing ads on here that automatically unmute and cut off any music app you might have on in the background as you scroll by should be hunted for sport

i miss when tumblr themes were a bigger part of this site. like. obviously there was a fun vibe when it came to making and sharing themes and redux edits and transparent images of your anime boyfriend to float above your description where you called yourself a butt.

but also i think the comedy of seeing someone's asinine, stupid fuck post only to open their blog and find this theme

and an autoplaying indie rock track that sounds like complete ass is just lost in the modern era where posts all look the same

Tumblr, you wanna keep flagging my Review posts cause they have a single gif with a barely-visible nipple in them, that's one thing. But to keep flagging these ancient posts of mine that are comprised of literally just - I kid you not - simple, unedited screenshots from the hit Nickelodeon cartoon "The Angry Beavers", that's another thing entirely.

I'm 38 fucking years old, I do not have time nor patience for this bullshit.

I've been checking in on the site regularly to see how my gif posts have been faring because I'm a stupid little addict who likes seeing the little numbers go up, even though I don't actually use this site anymore as intended. Well, I've had it up to here with this flagging nonsense, so it's time to fucking shut it off and pack it up, for GOOD this time.

I'm letting the queue empty out, drafts and all, and I'm not putting anything else into it after that. Granted, there's still several months worth of gifs in the queue at the moment, but that's that. No more.

This is my line in the sand. Tumblr can't handle when I put a barely visible nipple in a gif and keeps telling me I'm breaking their policies on sexual content by having reblogged a video a year ago that dared to feature drag queens in it, not to mention flagging many-years-old posts with screenshots of oh-so-horrible Definitely Adult Material cartoons like Humanity Has Declined, Spartakus & The Sun Beneath The Sea, and The Angry Beavers. What a fucking joke.

ads on the tumblr app have become way more frequent since they made that stupid subscription thing and it's lowkey starting to bug me. it use to be like- at the most often every seven posts, it's now every 4-3 posts

whats worse is most of them are autoplaying videos that lag my shitty phone out

tumblr needs to not autoplay advertisements that continues to BLARE for like 2 seconds even if my phone is on silent even after i immediately fully close/exit the app. it’s 1) mortifying to EVER play an advertisement out loud in public, 2) a jump scare, and 3) so goddamn enraging it’s stupid

Tumblr ads are autoplaying their audio i am in HELL. Specifically the stupid mafia boss game ads.

Anyone know if this can be fixed with settings or should I report a bug?
