Mechanic: Checky in the distance, talking: *muffled noises because he's wearing a bear mask* Battle Mage: Seriously, I cannot make out a single thing that guy says. How do you do it? Mechanic: Hmm, well...the secret is that I don't actually do it. Battle Mage: ??? Mechanic: Yeah, I just make an educated guess based on his tone and what your teachers tell you guys because I figured we're basically being told the same things.

#maplestory #stupid joke i just thought of when contemplating checky legit being a dude wearing a bear suit #like the big bang comics showed what he looked like under the bear suit kind of #but you don't see his face just his hair lol #based on IRL experience working in retail while masking you gotta be talking pretty loud and clear to still be understood #and that's just a face covering. the bear mask must be pretty thick i think #either checky has something to let him still speak clearly or he sounds like *muffled noises* all the time #and it might be the former in-universe but the latter is funnier to imagine
