anyway i think i’m addicted to the heavenly flavor combo that is peanut butter-banana-chocolate, and also tea (side note: i absolutely adore this mug, i won it in a white elephant gift exchange lmao)

this term i’m only taking 13 credits and yet the course load is so much?? it’s ok tho because all my classes are super cool and two of my classes are purely writing and discussion, i.e. no tests :)

HEY GUYS!!

I am new to this community. I recently made this account and this is my first original post. I cant wait to start bullet journaling which seems like tons of fun and join the studyblr community. I am currently 15, turning 16 in September and I live in Canada. I am going into grade 11. hi carol, this is with reference to your last answer about living in the uk as a student, you mentioned singapore specifically as a place that may not be as good to live in as a student but i was thinking of heading there to study, any reason in particular why you think it isn't a good place to live in as a student? thank you in advance~!

i just know that it’s a v stressful place to study in bc they place a lot of importance on academic success. a lot of different places do too, but i think it’s particularly prevalent in singapore and asian countries in general - i don’t know all the specifics since i’ve never studied there myself but i’ve seen newspaper articles and posts written by friends that study there that confirm it. if ur curious about studying in sg/what it’s like ur probably better off asking a studyblr that currently studies there!! i’ll tag some of them for ur convenience @literaturs @studyingamy @jhonstudies @smoinerd @ohlookimstudying (i hope y'all don’t mind me tagging u!! 😖💕)

Thank you all so much!

In just over a week 25 people have followed me. To me that is incredible. I remember the first ever tumblr account I set up for myself ago took forever to gain any traction at all, (i hadn’t realised tags were a thing back then 😂) Starting this blog a week ago, I can’t lie I had hoped it would get a fair few followers, that is always encouraging, but I never actually expected it to happen as quickly. Some people may not think 25 is a lot, but to me it means something so I’m gonna celebrate a little and thank all you awesome peeps that have chosen to follow me

a number of things ranging from exploitation of customers + promoters / exorbitant prices, art theft, etc. @literaturs explained it all much better than i ever could in her article and @studyingamy explained it really well on her ig story once (her studygram is studyamy). because of that, i’ve cancelled my codes with bxc and refused to work with some other instagram stores of that type. i don’t want to associate myself with stores like that anymore + i disapprove of promotions involving those kinds of stores, especially when the promotions don’t state that they’re affiliate / sponsored / etc. 

places like aliexpress and amazon are much better in terms of price + i’ve recently made an order with them and all of my items arrived to me (some faster than what i’ve experienced from ig stationery shops). amy (studyamy) has a list of alternative links to kawaiipenshop that may help you find alternatives as well.
