gojo is definitely the kind of guy who doesn’t realize how much he’s taken on. he’s got that carefree, i-can-handle-anything vibe, but the second he notices shoko’s stressed, he switches. like, it's not even a conscious thing. he just gets involved, checks on her, stays close, makes sure she’s okay. and it’s not because he thinks she can’t handle it, but because he wants her to know she doesn’t have to handle everything alone. it’s a quiet support, and he’s got it in him even if he won’t admit it.

Not the same anon as before, but I just want to say I loved chapter 220 too! I have a lot of thoughts about how .. unexpected, I guess you could say, euphemistically, Shoko's comment was 😂 and how that ties back with the way gege handled sashisu and itafushikugi (more specifically shoko and nobara's characters as parts of those trios) but what I wanted to share right now is that in my copy of volume 25 (I'm not from an English speaking country) the translation actually flat out states that shoko *had* romantic feelings for stsg but - and I quote- "would've never acted on them". I'm not sure what inspired this translation in the publishers here (it's not like they had an interest in making sashisu seem canon, the text literally never talks about them like that) but I imagined gege intended to shut the ship rumors down regardless 😂. Though, since I read that translation - fully expecting something similar to the English version - and was instead gifted with more fuel to my sashisu conspiracies, I think I'll just cling to my little volume and choose to keep dreaming 😂.

I'm not often on Twitter or on other social media so I didn't know gege clarified shoko's relationship status? That makes it even more hilarious! I mostly saw people speculating over the official 220 English translation and hating on stshk/sss (so I just closed Twitter altogether lol) but I completely missed the clarification! I'm not surprised at all to find this out now 😂.

Anyways, I'm taking advantage of the occasion to also tell you I loved the first chapter of your latest satoshoko fic! I love the way you write their banter, it's one of my favorite parts of their relationship and you always write their dialogues in such a fun and captivating way. Thank you for sharing your fics here! It's a joy to read them :)

yes it was unhinged. id estimate it happened around march-ish/april this year? i have those two months in my head for some reason. the relationship status was framed as a "she doesnt love anyone" it was hilarious. at the time it wasnt so hilarious because people were in the tags bashing her or the ship and what not but

still here and kicking 😇

lolol joking, hell yeah ive been jealous haha! not so much as ive gotten older though

and yes, weve got so many talented writers! every other day im seeing a new fic in the satoshoko tag and i can barely keep up lol! such a far cry from where our little raft of a ship was 2-3 years ago. "i used to dream of times like these.jpg" lolol ive fallen so far behind in reading fic in the tag its not funny 😩😭

please keep working at your craft. before you realise it, it will come easier to you, i promise. it's not something you will notice until you've put in the mileage, which is what the writers you feel jealous towards have done. theyre 'good' because they've been doing it longer than you, that's all. we don't all get the same allotment of time to practice. some folks will have more time than others. but we work with what we have and it all adds up at the end of the day

definitely there are people dear to me who ive made friends with through the ship and some happen to be writers which is a nice bonus, but it's not the only reason we're friends at this point ..... this is answering a question you didnt ask i realise but my soul felt it important to say haha gawd look at me ramble im getting old😩 jaysus (ok grandma time for your nap)
