After my little adventure yesterday afternoon (in an ambulance... to hospital) I spent today chilling. I’m feeling much better, although I’m facing a slight hangover from the drugs; subcut buscopan, it turn out, is amazing for my seizures and spasms, but it also gives you a dry mouth, nausea, the constant need to piss, and makes you high as a kite 🙈😂! All these sure effects are worth it, because the drug is so effective, but they’re still not fun. Hence, a strong drink was needed; and no, it was not gin! Today I have an appointment at @cityhospice with my palliative care consultant to check in and make sure everything health-wise is as stable as it can be before I go on my holidays on Saturday.
