hi anon - you sent this a while back, and i'm sorry it took me a bit to get to it!

first things first, thank you so much for the compliment about my sigyn. she's very important to me, and it makes me happy when other people like what i'm doing with her 🧡

and now to tackle your question.

the short answer is that loki is canonically genderfluid, the majority of the partners i have who write loki acknowledge this, and sigyn loves them however they're choosing to present.

but you're getting the longer answer too, because this is important to me.

i don't write with loki's of 'different genders'. i get that not everyone understands the terminology so i'm giving you the benefit of the doubt for that, but while the mcu has only paid (abominably poor) lipservice to loki's gender identity, they are explicitly genderfluid in the comics - and there's also mention of loki shifting between male and female forms in the norse eddas.

other people can do a better job at going into detail on that than i can, and you can see a couple of good compilations of screenshots / panels regarding loki's gender identity here and here. to put it in loki's own words, they don't change their gender, they exist as both, and i think that's an important thing to keep in mind when talking about this.

i'm going to try to focus on this in the context of sigyn and loki's relationship, as that's what you're asking me about. and really what it boils down to, for sigyn, is that loki makes her happy.

my sigyn is demi-panromantic and demi-pansexual, and for her that means she only develops romantic and sexual feelings for someone when she has an emotional connection with them. she falls in love with who loki is as a person. she then finds them incredibly attractive whether they are presenting as masc or femme - and whether they are in their æsir or jötunn forms, though that's a separate thing. no matter what, they are always her loki, and that's what matters to her.

Just did another re read of “warrior” (I swear I re read it every month and a half) and just wanted to pop in to say how much I love it! Genuinely it is the most fascinating character dive and AU in the fandom. I am utterly obsessed with it. And I must say, it's especially pleasing to know that the in-world media/epistolary documents were well-received, as they were some of the most self-indulgent fun I've ever had writing anything! And among those, the media headlines and HoloNet articles were definitely some of my favourites.

I'd say that yes, we (myself and Caro) do intend to continue including elements of in-world media in future installments, though it definitely depends on the viewpoint character as to how much they get showcased! In this AU, Imperial High Prince Skywalker drank in those updates and memos and missives and headlines like water; in a sense, they communicated something of how much time and energy and effort he put into pan-galactic optics and how others perceived him. My guess is that Din and other future POV characters may not be quite as steeped in that kind of content, but ABSOLUTELY YES I'm hype to continue featuring them in future installments whenever it makes sense to!

I’m not sure, cause I’m v bad at science, but maybe it’s kind of like Human bruises, except where the coloring is different, so like how for Humans, bruises can start off purple and blue and fade into yellow and green, maybe for Vulcans, they start of yellow and green and fade into purple and blue?

I have no scientific reasoning for this, my only thoughts behind it are each species misunderstanding how bad a bruise is on the other one because their bruise coloring is mixed up

Hi, thank you so much!! It’s both. It’s falls like this pretty naturally esp when it’s shorter but when I want to spruce it up or keep it neat (mostly bc the back always gets unkempt) I use a wax/cream that I got from my stylist, would def recommend for shaping shorter hair like mine. For texture I use a little sea salt spray or just style it after I’ve lifted weights lol.
