I'm a sucker for #nonfiction #medical books, especially ones that involve surgery. This book is amazing. It shows the willpower a human has to change their life and adapt to the situations at hand. The surgeon who wrote the book started in poverty, got a business degree, went back for medicine, went to be a war surgeon, survived two tours, and then discovered he had a brain aneurysm.
