With summer an inch away, what can we expect? Only tendrils of inky-black clouds rising up in the skies. They will bring incessant rain all over. There will be a nonstop pitter-patter on the rooftops. Thunder will rumble in the distance. Lightning will flash on and off like a stroblight. Umbrellas will be at work in the sun and shower. Creepers will snake up the electricity poles. Paddy will dot mosaic of fields. The entire earth will be carpeted in emerald green. The nearby streams and rivulets will swell and boast of their momentarily monstrosity. Children will finger-oar their paperboats. Taut-muslced men and women will work in the paddy fields with sickles, spades and scythes. And those with sedentary jobs will rotate their chairs and keep staring outside through their casement, some yawning off their sleep, and some nursing their dampened spirit.
