Lifetime (Cyberpunk 2077)
So I remember there being a lot of headcanons about what V would do after The Tower ending (Spoilers for Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty), and that a popular one was that Johnny's ability to sing and play the guitar stuck with her despite him being gone.
And I just have to say I love that idea so much. Her reconnecting with Kerry after he finally finished his latest tour, even talked with Us Cracks. Forms a small little band of her own, maybe just her, a bassist and a drummer.
Her first gig is at Dark Matter, sponsored by Kerry.
Like a lot of bands, there are a few covers thrown in during the set. I'm imagining Lifetime by Three Days Grace being one of them, just because it hits so hard thinking about all the people she's lost.
You were the one that I wasn't supposed to lose. I thought I'd have you for my lifetime, have you for a lifetime. Who do I talk to when I wanna talk to you? I thought I'd have you for a lifetime, have you for a lifetime.
Nomad V losing the Bakkers, Streetkid V stuck back in Night City, Corpo V losing her whole life's work.
Losing T-Bug and Jackie. Giving So Mi over to Reed. Losing Johnny. Losing Panam and River.
Losing Judy.
And this is a very different vibe, but I want her to bring Kerry onstage, and they all jam out to Save Rock and Roll by Fall Out Boy and Elton John (no, not just because Kerry is gay, but also that works).

Screw it my brain rot is so real and SO INTENSE right now Im sharing my thoughts on a Cyberpunk AU for Settphel
Definitely not taking inspo for Setts background from Cyberpunk ER hehe Sett being a street kid (because im in love with league species- there will be vastayans and things in this universe. so Sett is half vas, and his mom full) Whos mom works as a EMT, long hours just to pay the bills and for Sett to go to a corpo school Sett definitely fought a lot because he is street scum going to a corpo school, and half-Vastayan- bros got it rough out here Age 16 is when he gets his first chrome, fist enhancing chrome that make him as strong as like ykno, in league lmao so then theres The Pit, he frequents this after getting the chrome (illegally may I add) and starts bringing home money ofc he tells his Ma its from work, hes found jobs no need to worry Ma, you can start taking less shifts. now this is how it deviates from CPER, Sett actually stays in corpo school (doesnt lose his mom) he climbs that Corpo ladder. But on the side, he manages to take over The Pit and many other underground gangs while doing so. He ends up getting all the way to the top of the Corpo Ladder and becoming the CEO of one of the companies Gets his Ma a lovely cottage outside of the city, away from the struggles and dangers of living there. Esp now that hes got many people out for his head- needs his Ma away and blissfully unaware of his underground shit and safe
For Aphelios..
Nomad makes more sense for Aphelios the more i think about it Growing up way outside of the city, in the "desert" area, but it wont be a desert here, itll be the mountains in this universe lol anyways yeah the religion being very stigmatized. The Solari of the city, hate Lunari. So far the hate leaks into the common people cuz the Solari is in the city and everywhere So they stay in the mountains. Though growing up Alune and Phel are faced with the Corpos wanting to encroach on their land, keep trying to buy it and stuff like that. as they get older, the elders of the clan raising Aphelios to become their assassin, to slowly start killing off Corpos, the important ones, or as important as they can get to. While Alune stays back at the clan, learning everything she can to take over as the leader once the Elders are gone in this, Aphelios just chooses not to speak most of the time, only when he has to he will. Preferring to sign with his sister and anyone who knows it
This is where Sett comes into the picture, now being the main dog of Corpos now, his company wants to forcefully take the Lunari land (under Setts nose too, because Sett isnt the kind of man to take away someones home like that. and people still hold prejudices against Sett being half-vastayan and a former streetkid, so theyd definitely not tell the big man what theyre doing and just push all backlash and blame onto him) Aphelios is tasked to assassinate Sett at a some corpo "ball" (not really a ball its a formal party or something)
At this party, of course Sett is on high alert. He always is really, a lot of people want him dead. So when a strange man comes into the party, dressed to the nines- unfamiliar face- Sett is wary, keeps a keen eye on him all night. Whenever Sett isn't looking though, caught up in conversations, he feels eyes burning into him, but when he looks in the direction its gone. What a good assassin, being able to hide from Sett like that Peaks his interest greatly After awhile, skillfully playing a game of cat and mouse with this stranger, Sett is finally able to get to one of his private rooms and simply waits, his poisoned drink in hand on a plush armchair for the assassin to walk in and make sure the job was done
Much to Phel's surprise, when he sneaks into the room, Sett is waiting for him, the smuggest grin on his face he's ever seen.
#settphel#settphel cyberpunk au#bluie rambles#settphelios#sett#aphelios#sorry this is a mess but it is my mess#my brain is playing this whole thing out liek a movie rn

Seen a few folk posting pics of early and latest pictures of OCs and Voss is the one I've had the longest in Cyberpunk 2077. He started out on PS5 in 2021 when I played the game again and wanted to play a Corpo as Nomad and Streetkid were done.
I was actually mildly depressed at the time when I started the game again; had a lot going on; Covid was still on, I begun a new job after being made redundant the previous year thanks to that and as ever, big changes take me longer to adjust to and process. Being an enforced hermit wasn't so great. So the random throwaway Corpo who ended up becoming Voss means a lot to me.
Gone with solo pics and I will eventually make that bloody Pozer jacket!

When a Streetkid meets a Nomad
Vilem paid a lot of eddies to Rogue, and she delivered. She got intel on Anders Hellman, the man who created the relic. According to her, he was going to be on a kang tao convoy. The challenge was going to be bringing said convoy down to snatch Hellman. Rogue suggested using a nomad who knows the land beyond Night City. She also had a nomad in mind. Panam Palmer
Vilem met up with Panam. She was hostile at first until hs told told her that if she helped him get Hellman, then he'd help her get her ride and cargo back from the gig that got botched on her end. He wasn't too keen on this whole 'favor for a favor' deal that Rogue got him roped into, but if it meant getting closer to having a cure for his brain parasite, Vilem was willing to do it. What was he about to get himself into?
They went to Panam's old clan for help with getting her ride back. Unfortunately, her two buddies couldn't help her physically, though they did give them some equipment that would be of help. Vilem was asked to keep an eye on Panam via Scorpion and he obliged. The two of them managed to get Panam's ride back, and the cargo. She convinced him to help her settle the score with the guy who screwed her over. As someone who was on his own vendetta, Vilem had no room to judge her and agreed
A nap, and one nightmare later, and Panam came up with a plan to help Vilem. They went on their way, Johnny tagging along. They overloaded a power grid, then waited for the opportunity to bring down Hellman's convoy. Only problem was that Panam's clan saw it go down and went to it, getting caught by Keng Tao. Vilem had to take them down.
Mitch managed to survive, but the rest of the clan, Scorpion included, were killed. Panam took the loss hard, and Vilem felt at fault. Their plan was what made it all happen. However, he had a man to catch up to, so he and Panam tracked Kang Tao to a gas station.
Vilem takes out the remaining Kang Tao operatives and finally has his man. He knocks Hellman out, gives Takemura a call like he said he would, and after saying his goodbyes to Panam and Mitch, he brings Hellman to a nearby motel and wakes him up.
A conversation with Hellman reveals that the chip was experimental, a prototype. There is nothing that can be done for Vilem except for 'hospice care'. Vilem demands the blueprints of the relic and then hands the reigns over to Goro to do with as he pleases.
Vilem starts to feel awful and ends up on a bench with Johnny ranting a bit. He asks Johnny what he really wants. Johnny tells him he wants to settle the score with Arasaka once and for all, then explains why. Vilem is too sick to really focus on the rockstar's words, but in a way he understands why Johnny is so angry. He agrees to help, reluctantly. One lead gone. All that was left was finding Maman Brigitte and seeing if Hanako Arasaka would listen to reason. Vilem was certain Hanako was going to be a bust, but he had no other choice. His leads were drying up.

«────── « HEADCANON » ──────»
I've meant to remake this post since the release of Phantom Liberty, but time got the best of me. It's here now, though, so here's the canonical endings for my three Vs.
Vincent’s (Corpo!V) Ending: After realizing his choices were Arasaka and the FIA, Vincent decided to take his chances with the NUSA government, opposed to the corporate folk who tried to kill him in the first place. He calls Reed on the rooftop of Misty's shop (after deciding against blowing his brains out then and there), and ends up being transported by medical staff to Langley for the experimental operation. It's a success… sort of. He's alive, and he's able to live a full life, but he's lost the ability to use any Cyberware as it puts too much strain on his nervous system. Likewise, he's been in a coma for two years. He didn't know he was going to be out this long, having only really told those close to him that he'd be back in a few week's time. As such, everyone's pretty much moved on and forgotten about him. Misty's shop is gone, and she's on her way to Poland for the forseeable future. Vik is a corporate doctor for Zetatech, and tells him straight up that there's nothing he can do. He becomes just another face in the crowd, and lets the legend of "V" fade away.
Vera’s (Nomad!V) Ending: Contacts Panam and the Aldecados for help. Being from a Nomad background and seeing Panam face a similar conflict that she faced leaving the Bakkers, Vera wants to at least help them before she ends up going out. Plus, she genuinely likes Panam and the crew. Definitely considers her family, and they ultimately come to think the same about her. She convinces Johnny to stay back in cyberspace with Alt, and takes her body back, knowing her chances are slim. Would rather risk it to help the Aldecados recover from the loss of Saul and everything else that’s happened.
Valerie’s (Streetkid!V) Ending: Takes on Arasaka solo and takes her chances at becoming a Night City legend. She and Johnny ended up forming a rather interesting friendship over their shared distaste toward Arasaka, which leads to her trusting him in taking the wheels and actually working with her. She doesn’t want to drag anybody down with her and really believes this is her battle and hers alone. Unfortunately, when push comes to shove, it means cutting Johnny loose and live what life she has left.

Entry 01: October 16, 2076 (金)
I told myself I'd start a journal now that I'm on my own. I left the Bakkers because I no longer could abide what the Snake Nation was getting us involved in. Ironic, then, that I'd get myself into deeper shit on day one. I was supposed to meet with a client -- Jackie Welles, a Valentino looking to haul some hot cargo into N.C. But my car crapped out and I missed the meet.
I got some static from a local asshole sheriff who was sniffing around, but by supper time I'd bypassed the compressor and gotten my wheels in motion again, for how long who knew. Radioed William McCoy to put me in touch with Welles, although he gave me shit too. I get it, I made the decision to leave. But today I really felt what it meant to go it alone, I guess. Anyway, McCoy came through and I was able to find Welles at last in some rusticated shed. He didn't know what was in his crate, but I could tell it was corporate. Whatever it was, it wasn't just hot. It was supernova. I should've known then that this was bad news. But I guess I had something to prove after being burned.
So I drove Welles to the border crossing. I can tell he's got a good heart. A big lunk of a streetkid. He cuts an intimidating presence, but he was nervous. I don't think he's ever smuggled anything into N.C. I took his credit chip with our bribe and headed into the customs office to make a deal. But something was off, I started feeling it in there. By the time I was out of the office and back in the car, it was past dusk. The skyline of Night City was closer than I'd ever seen it, those big holo-tickers shooting up into the sky. I remember watching them from a distance as a kid. This should've been a more momentous moment for me, but I didn't get to soak it in for more than a moment before a Militech convoy tried to head us off.
Before I knew what was happening, Jackie had us tearing through the Biotechnica fields and I was firing off shots at fucking Militech soldiers! I've seen some action in my day, but nothing like this. If it wasn't for the adrenaline pumping through my veins, I'd be vomiting. I think I killed three of them, but one of the trucks hit an explosive tank and lit up. Not that I'm sympathetic to a bunch of corpo-rats, but still... this wasn't supposed to be part of the deal. I'm still not sure how both of us survived.
Jackie found a garage for us to pull into in what looked like an abandoned settlement in the badlands. Told me he was gonna bail on me and not pay me, the gonk. Normally I'd have half a mind to crack his skull for something like that, but I can't say I was surprised to hear it from someone born and raised in the city. I've always been told they just don't have the same respect us nomads do. Besides, I cooled off after we took a look at the cargo--some kind of rare iguana that was supposed to have gone extinct decades ago. Inside an Arasaka case, it turned out--realizing that, the heat wasn't so surprising. Still, though, nearly losing our heads over a fucking lizard!! Going to have to be more careful.
I don't know what to do now, I can't risk trying to cross the border again until the heat dies down. I'll have a better chance getting lost inside the urban jungle for a while. And Jackie thinks he might have some work for me after we split our proceeds from the lizard. So who knows? Maybe this is the start of something beautiful after all.

I like the fact that if you really look closely at the lifepath choices in Cyberpunk 2077, you can see that there's parts about all three of them that really allows V to diametrically oppose Johnny. Like I think some are more obvious than others, but each path, in my opinion, does have a core element that directly opposes who Johnny is and the things that he stands for:
Corpo is reflective of their differences on a background level. I think that this one is the most blatant: the man who despises the machine being forced to team up with a former cog in the machine. The corporate-raised wunderkind versus the man who dedicated his life to tearing down everything they stood for. Even if they aren't working for Arasaka anymore, that influence is still there. How many times does V rely on their counter-intelligence training as a merc? Or gain a valuable piece of knowledge thanks to their experience working with, or even against, cutthroat corporate types? A Corpo!V and Johnny would spend their entire time together walking that thin edge of trust. V has to wonder if Johnny intends to screw them over because of their past employment for Arasaka, because you can take a rat out of the corpo but you can never take the corpo out of the rat, while Johnny has to worry if V actually does still have some underlying loyalty to their old company, at least enough to sell him out if they're pushed far enough. You can't build trust when all you can think about is if the other person is hiding a knife behind their back.
Nomad is reflective of their differences on a value level. Nomads represent many of the things that Johnny aspires to have: freedom, camaraderie, and a no-exception hatred of corps. But nomad values differ so greatly from who Johnny is as a person. They're honest; they keep their promises; they hold each other accountable for their mistakes yet always welcome each other back with open arms and unconditional support. All of those things are core flaws of Johnny's character. Nomads are honest, and Johnny is a pathological liar. Nomads keep their promises, and Johnny does nothing but break his. Nomads have unshakable bonds, and Johnny has never had a relationship with someone that he hadn't completely fucked up in some way or another. A Nomad!V carries many of these qualities with them into a new city, and Johnny right off the bat proves that he doesn't possess any of values they're trying so hard to hold on to. What's the point in putting your faith in someone who has done nothing but prove that they don't even want it, never mind deserve it?
Streetkid is reflective of their differences on a societal level. Johnny, for all of his swagger and postering, is not a true man of the people. He might know and empathize with the struggles of Night City but he didn't grow up in those neighborhoods, and in the 2010s and 20s definitely enjoys a greater amount of wealth and security compared to the average person that lived there (which is more pronounced in the TTRPG I think). Streetkid!V has been searching for that happiness and security and comes crawling back to Night City at the start of the game with their tail between their legs. It had to have been difficult for someone who spent their whole life in squalor being told by some terrorist from who knows where and way gone by-- a terrorist who dropped a bomb on their home so many years ago-- that they're weak, they're worthless, they're wrong. Johnny Silverhand doesn't care about the people. Johnny Silverhand only cares about himself, and when you grow up in a community who endure those struggles with you, that's something V can't dare look past.
#Cyberpunk 2077#CP2077#Long Post#V#Johnny Silverhand#I do think that corpo!V is the way to go if you want that juicy diametric opposition but honestly? They kinda all do if you look closely#Writing this out also made me realize that no duh Rogue hooked up with Santiago-- he literally stands for everything Johnny opposes#No wonder they hit it off and maybe had a kid together#Anyway thanks for appreciating my ramblings adios and good day#Aldi speaks

Hello 👋 just a random question. Which life path did you select in Cyberpunk? I feel like you must have gone with Nomad 🤔 and why did you choose the path that you chose? ❤️
Hey love! Actually I took the streetkid, it seemed more on the roguish side of gameplay which I favour in RPG.
I know that Corpo is evil gameplay. Nomad sounded more free but also kind of lonely though I was tempted since it reminded me of Mad Max.

Have you played Cyberpunk 2077? If so which romances are your favorite?
I have! I have, admittedly, only played River and Judy’s romances but I really love them both. I’m not sure I could pick between them because they’re both riiiiight up my alley.
My first OC Kress (streetkid) was for River, then I made Velma (nomad) for Judy, and I had plans for a male corpo so I could romance Panam (his name was going to be Vu Dai Linh and he was going to look like this guy) but I got a new job and I got very distracted and haven’t gone back to finish :///

To be continued...
Thoughts, a couple more shots, and transcript under the cut.
So I hadn't really thought through the ending of the photoset when I started (like most things I write lmao). I realized I'd made similar fits for both of my characters, just that Hilary's matches her personality, and was immediately inspired to update NPVal with some Streetkid-gone-Nomad outfits. I sat down to write the dialogue after and realized I still needed an ending to the story! I don't want this to languish in WIP purgatory any longer so this will be a two-parter.
Transcript...
Carol: What the hell are you wearing?
Hilary: What, you don't like it?
Carol: That streetkid is rubbing off on you.
Carol: Speak of the devil...
Val: What was that?
Mitch: Hey, Val...
Hilary: Carol says we hang out too much.
Mitch: ...let's go get those scop dogs.
Carol: You two are starting to dress alike.
Simultaneous: Val: Do not dress like that!! Hilary: What's wrong with the way she dresses?
Val: Don't dress like that, do I, babe?
Carol: Yeah, babe?
Mitch: Uh, do you — are you — sorry, it's Pan.
<Text Message> Pana Lama Ding Dong #%!& GENERATORS! </end Text Message>
Mitch: Are you fucking kidding me? I just fixed them last week!
Panam: Then you had better fix them again!
A few minutes later...
Panam: So what was that about?
Mitch: Carol. Got Val riled up about Hilary dressing like her.
Panam. You know she does, right?
Mitch: 'Course, and ya know I can't tell her that.
Panam: And what will you say when she asks again later?
Mitch: Figure something out.
