im thinking about how crime alley views Redhood and you guys get to hear about it!

so redhood's like the only bat-sanctioned crimelord right? he fucks with the robins and is still alive, he went toe-to-toe with batman (several times) and walked away from it, but also he implemented a no-bats rule and they (sort of) followed it!!

to us that makes sense, knowing that Jason's Jason and he's part of the batfam- to the rest of the city this new guy shows up, starts up his own gang, takes over crime alley and now THE Batman is listening to him??

Can you imagine how scary that would make him seem? to everyone else he has no relation whatsoever to them- this mans just powerful enough to control *the fucking batman*.

i havent actually read many comics but no wonder i only every hear about maybe 2 other crimelords. all the littler guys wouldve been squished when jason showed up. half his top guys were probably running their own very successful mafias and eventually decided it would be a whole lot smarter to join the guy than stand in his way.

plus hes achieving all the usual gang stuff without the fallout (trafficking drugs- but making sure they're clean and not sold to children, letting the streetgirls work- and giving them places to stay and protection from their clients, he probably gives streetkids odd jobs and things to do in exchange for food and somewhere to stay)
