SBG STREAMER AU

(Basically, this is about what would have happened if there was no Phantom Dimension and the entire SBG company were streamers)

Ashlyn:

● Nickname: LYN3TT3_X (or just Lyn)

● Content: Mostly plays games and does reactions to horror.

● Reason: Ashlyn is pretty emotionless, so she doesn't show fear in many games or videos. Viewers really want to see her get scared, so they ask her to play different horror games/watch horror movies. She also sometimes plays strategy games and people like her critical thinking in such games.

● Additional: Ashlyn also has specially configured donations that allow viewers to make scary screamers. Anyone who was able to scare Ashlyn in any way is given VIP on her streams, which give some cool features (You can count such people on one hand)

● Reason: Ashlyn started streaming when she once broke her leg during ballet. Her leg was put in a cast and she couldn't do ballet for 2 months. At this time, Ashlyn was alone at home and almost going crazy. One day, while watching the stream, she thought that she could do the same. ● Reason: Taylor is a sweet and kind girl. Followers like how kind she plays different games and her touching reactions to videos with cats:) She often makes reactions than plays games. But most of all, she plays roleplay games with her insight. Completely immersing herself in the story of the game.

●Additional: Sometimes Taylor can play horror games, but she is always very scared of them. Therefore, many people donate specifically to complete horror games.

●Why: Taylor felt lonely and useless for some time. When her family needed money, Taylor wanted to get a job, but Tyler did not allow it. When she found out that streamers make money, she wanted to help her family in this way. She suggested Tyler to start streaming to earn money without getting a job. Streaming also helped her overcome feelings of loneliness.

Tyler:

● Nickname: EvilTwin (or just Ty)

● Content: Reaction games and competitive games.

Taylor sometimes mentions Ashlyn when she is asked to play a horror game. Like: "Is this the game Lyn played?"

Logan said that he would like to compete in shooters with Tyler.

Ashlyn and Logan are stepbrother and sister, they mention each other. And also, by Logan's decision, they once arranged a cooking stream (they destroyed the kitchen). After this stream, they never tried to do cooking streams again

HP Rec Fest 2024

day 6: fic for a ship I don’t normally read

first of all let me just say how thrilled I was to be tagged in two amazing rec posts for this prompt - Still Life by @danpuff-ao3 and With a Look by @sweet-s0rr0w, two of my favorite fics recced by two of my favorite people! this one was tricky bc being a multishipper I feel like I’ve read a bit of everything, but I thought this would be a good opportunity to celebrate two underrated writers that are so brilliant they can seduce me into pretty much any pairing - and they’ve written for many!

first rec is not okay, but just fine (E, 4k) by the prolific tryslora, one of my favorite smut writers. her works make me salivate and there’s no ship she can’t make work. I chose this fic in particular because although I’ve read Romione, Ginmione and Ronny (is that a thing? who knows, not me) separately, I had never considered them together and damn if this isn’t the hottest take on Weasleycest 🥵 from Ron’s obsession with Gin’s tiny tits to the insanely hot smut (the f/f action!!!) and the exciting open ending, this whole fic is an exercise in self-indulgence and I love it for that.

the second rec is the exquisite Mothering Sunday (T, 3.6k) by another rare pair god, pauraque. this Cissa & Astoria fic took my breath away and left me with so many thoughts and feelings. none of those tags are things I usually go for in fic, but as always this author captures me with a compelling narrative that goes beyond the kink and delves deep into a nuanced and comforting dynamic between two women who finally find their peace with each other. the pacing and the way their back stories slowly unravels and come together is very impressive for a 3k fic. every scene feels so vivid and every emotion feels so earned. if you try and enjoy this fic, I urge you to check this Harry & Hermione masterpiece next ;)

Parents' attitudes towards what their children do

MIKE AND EMMA: Ashlyn and Logan

They are positive about it.

Although at first they didn't understand what exactly their children were doing.

The only thing they understood from Ashlyn and Logan was that it was connected to the Internet.

This made them a little wary, since they didn't understand what consequences this could have. But after they attended some streams and realized that it was quite safe, they fully supported them in this.

DANIEL AND JESSICA: Aiden

They give him a lot of money to set up his streaming place. They do not feel sorry for the money, so they allow him a lot, because they cannot pay him enough attention.

MARIANNA: Tyler and Taylor

She doesn't know that her kids are streaming.
