stepping out of fanfiction world into irl: frankly i dont have much against him besides hes a certified marc hater who is at times a little shady. but this is sports. and that is enough. likeeeeee okay putting on my empathy hat here. YES he played a role in splitting up marc and vale's friendship (really pushed vale over the edge with the data) and YES hes kind of an incurable yes-man and YES he's a lil sleazy (smile more pecco lmao) but like. those arent crimes ! vale is also kind of a sleaze ball !! and he made the decision to blow up his relationship with marc all by his 36 year old self in the end !! and as for vale keeping him around all the time like. being famous sucks !! and theyve known each other since they were (mostly) normal kids !! idk like to have someone i know would never intentionally betray me in my back pocket who i also enjoy hanging out with would be genuinely so important... like BOTH marc and vale have their people that theyve known forever that they keep inside their VERY small little bubble... marc got lucky that his (alex) is also a very good rider! vale had to make his an assistant. which to me is a bit weirder in terms of power dynamic. significantly so. but still very understandable imo. their codependent slay

BUTTTT where uccio is so funny is as a narrative device for rosquez tbh. like hes GONNA catch strays here bc he fills that fun little role of relationship saboteur for them. like HE went to vale with the telemetry "proof" about Phillip Island 2015, he vocallyyyyyy hates marc still to this day, and while rosquez were friends he was genuinely giving marc the evil eye in parc ferme so fucking often it was so funny. whats ur ISSUE man

so like. i can see him embracing his and vale's #codependence and seeing marc as like. a threat to vale's legacy, a threat to his direct championship hopes, and ALSO a threat to his and vale's weird relationship. like truly when your buddy gets their first serious significant other and you feel a lil weird that they arent spending as much time with you... so i think allllll of those coalesced in his brain and it became MISSION CRITICAL. to get vale on board with hating marc. so he kind of maybe started a teensy smear campaign to get that twink outta here. which to be fair to his iago slay did work. grima wormtongue lookin ass.

I’m usually super into tank characters because I like to smash first ask questions later but I like the druid because it has a smidge more finesse than the former😂 I also watched a friend of mine do some beta testing on it last year and it was really cool to watch and I liked the talent tree options. Music Bank 2023 with Aly

Okay, here we go with my opinions on mubank23 in paris!

Let's start with the music - the most important thing.

I was a little disappointed, because even though Skz were headliners, Tbz got more Songs than them. Nonetheless I enjoyed it a ton!

Our boys started with Case 143, played Maniac (BESTIES POPPIN LIVE HAD ME ASCENDING), continued with God's Menu (nobody expected this?? It slayed so hard??? NE SONNIM LIKE OKAY SIR THAT GROWL) and we ended with the biggest surprise of all: MIROH! Hearing an entire Stadium going "Stray Kids Hoo!" was incredible!

I enjoyed the other groups, aswell, but as you know I am only a Stay (so far), so I can't give the best feedback on it. I am 100% sure I will start stanning AB6IX, though. They fucking SLAYED! I also did enjoy the other boygroups a lot. I'll absolutely get into them. (Besties Keeho was killing me)

BESTIES MAMAMOO LIVE?? HWASA??? THE SCREAMS I SCREAMT!!!!

IVE and NMIXX aren't for me personally, but they were great live! Enjoyable!

The Fanbase

Now I personally had a great experience with all kinds of fans! I made a lot of friends, we all adopted eachother! During the Concert I was sitting next to a ENGENE and we made a deal: I film enhypen if she films skz, so we could focus on dancing and singing along. She even gave me her lightstick when it was Skz turn!

In addition to that I met the sweetest girl the day before, who was giving out Freebies before the Concert. She saved me a Quokka keychain and gave it to me after mubank! You can find her shop on insta: @mavizia.eu

I also met a bunch of other fans, funny enough it was almost exclusively Chan Biases lmao. A nice group adopted us in the line and kept us around!

The Fanbase for partypit

Now I had seats, but from my view I could see a lot of what was happening in the pit. I also had a bunch of friends in there who told me the same exact thing: It was horribly dangerous. Obsessive fans kept pushing people, some people got punched. Multiple fans fainted due to a multitute of reasons. And we don't even need to talk about the fans during lineup - so many kept cutting in line, shouting at others. I was genuinely lucky to have made so many skz friends in line easily, so we were a pretty big group that nobody messed with!

The organisation

Okay I have to be honest here, guys. I am an eventmanager. This was absolute fucking shit. Security did not ban campers, nothing was done against fannumbering and when people started lining up at 4am nothing was done. This was actual absolute shit. I could go on about this for hours, but I'd rather focus on the positives. This was one of the worst concert organisations I have ever experienced. If I hadn't had seats I would have been stressed beyond the imaginable.

The end of the concert was also officially annunced half an hour later. They ended early, with skz only getting 4 songs, even though they were headlining. I have a lot of opinions on this, and am convinced I would have done a better job at organizing this. And no, guys, there is barely a difference planning 20.000 people or 40.000. They should have had an early queue set-up and 90% of everyones problems even before the concert would have ended.

Now all in all in enjoyed it, though. I will absolutely stan more than just skz now. Overall I was very happy with the concert! Especially thanks to the amazing trip through the city I had earlier that day. It was generally very enjoyable. <3

Wren took it upon himself to take a seat in my captain’s chair. Another strike against him in my book. “Listen, we’re the good guys here, I swear. You know there’s something up with Wright. You can believe it, can’t you, Reg? Just let us through. Nobody has to know. We’re prepared to pay.”

“Look, kid, I like you, but I don’t how how I feel about-”

I bumped Wren out of my seat and grabbed the mic. “Five grand.”

There was a heavy pause. “Deal,” Reggie said.

From nowhere or possibly hell, Gwen had apparated in front of me. She was wearing the sort of scowl that could burn your skin off and a satiny black dress so tight I truly worried for her organs.

“Gwendoline.” I let Elodie take Lois off into the crowd. Gwen was my dragon to slay. “Can I help you?”

She grabbed me by the arm, suddenly and violently, her deadly acrylics bearing into my skin. I tried to wrench my way out of her death grip to no avail and found myself being marched through the crowd, which parted with the sheer force of her fury, and straight into the women’s bathroom.

It was still loud in there, but muffled, the singer’s pounding synonyms blurring into one. There were a few girls huddled around the mirror, and they all looked up on cue as we entered, mascara wands frozen midair. Gwen pulled me into the empty stall and released me with a force that sent me stumbling, yanking the door locked behind us.

She spun to face me dead on. “What the actual fuck do you think you’re doing?”

I rubbed my sore arm. “Partying?”

“You need to back off my boyfriend,” she said.

I stared at her. There were a lot of words springing to mind, approximately none of them appropriate. “You-- are you saying that you think I want your assface boyfriend?”

She rolled her eyes. “I’m not stupid, Frances--”

“Beg to differ!”

“--I know Cal is kind of the hottest guy in school.”

“Gwen, I’m a hotter guy than Callahan Huxley is.”

She pursed her lips. “Look, I don’t really give a shit if you like him, because at the end of the day, he’d never go for you.”

“God, I’m devastated.”

Reza stepped closer. I tightened my grip on my gun, the leather of the holster bearing into my hip. He looked around, surveying the windows above us for prying eyes. He dropped his voice. “Is there somewhere more private we can speak? It’s a rather… sensitive matter.”

I cut my eyes towards his, sharp. “Absolutely not.” I stepped around him, forcing him to turn his back to the wall, entrapping him between myself and the dead end. “This isn’t Claw turf, Ansari. You come to my town, you play by my rules.” Not to mention that there were at least three heavily armed girls in my office at that very moment who would rip a Black Claw to shreds on sight.

He huffed out a staccato breath through gritted teeth, as though he had been struck suddenly. Reza Ansari wasn’t used to being told no. “Fine,” he spat. His countenance was slipping. “We’ll play your way. I want to get out of this shitthole as soon as possible, anyway.” I bristled at the words. Lower Persepolis had a fine membrane of ash that clung to every surface, the water here running a little cloudier and the alley cats more scarred. It was certainly a far cry from the gated Claw estate. But it was my home.

I nudged my coat aside to allow the gunmetal to gleam in the grim light. “Careful, Ansari.”

He laughed quietly, more to himself than anything, and drew his gaze from my hip to his foot. He pulled at the fabric of his trousers, exposing his ankle and the glistening silver blade strapped to it. He let the fabric drop and met my eyes, his lips tugged into a wry smile. “That’s one of five I have concealed on my person. Can we talk now?”

OKAY SO SKDJKS I love this question bcuz I bias so many boyfriend material idols (at least imo) but hands down the most boyfriend material is Jacob from the boyz LIKE I MEAN COME ON??? He’s the sweetest person alive, has the softest voice, plays guitar, is from Canada (that just makes it better for me oops), he like never gets angry?? Eric said he had seen him get mad but not angry before and he also like never swears out loud which is kinda adorable :((( idk he’s just the cutest loveliest ever and I just love him sm 💔💔

so I haven’t unstanned a lot of groups bcuz my list just seems to keep growing, but there are a couple I’ve rly stopped keeping up w at all. I still listen to the music and keep up w comebacks sometimes but I just am not attached to enhypen, stray kids, or bts anymore.

for enhypen it’s 1000000% because of engenes. and I’ve met so many wonderful engenes but some parts of that fandom need help 😭😭😭 I also kinda unstanned them around future perfect era bcuz the music wasn’t hitting tho recently w orange blood it has hit a lot more so I’m rly excited abt that tho dark blood was still a skip album for me ngl 😔😔 I love the members still like it was never abt the members which is good 😍😍

for stray kids it was also a fandom thing lmao I already wasn’t that into them like I never had a stray kids era I’d say. I just feel like I never got into them like most stays, but I’ve seen a lot of very questionable stays 😭😭 and especially knowing the full story of how woojin left the group and now being a big cub it just made me despise the fandom even more… but again still like the members, tho I’m def more attached to enha members cause I did actually have a big enha era in early 2022 before I unstanned ☝️

and lastly bts who I still adore it’s just that the music stopped hitting?? 😭😭 I’m eager to know whether I’ll get back into a bts era once they’re back from enlistment, but I have been enjoying some of their solo work but not all of it tbh cause some of it is just not me style 🧍‍♀️ even tho army are one of the most infamously toxic fandoms I have not personally had interactions w toxic armys like I have w engenes or stays so it’s not rly abt the fandom 😍 mostly cause I don’t touch stan twt at all so that has saved me from a lot of stress I’m sure lol

overall I still enjoy these groups and their music at abt the same level as like any gg I know (like idk if I can even call myself a stan of any gg cause I swear I watch 0 content lmao)

Alright a small disclaimer though: In my experience, all of Cix's songs are growers. If you aren't feeling it initially, you will totally vibe after the next few listens.

Also, some of their songs are very heavy in the sense that the content can be rough, and perhaps a little angsty but I mean... Their meanings are pretty solid at least.

Let me start with their title tracks since, most of those are bangers ngl.

These aren't recommendations per se but I'll give you a sloppy description and you can probably gauge what might be worth listening to.

Movie Star - It's sultry and kinda groovy; reminds me of lucid dream by aespa and some of vixx/sf9 songs. (one of my favorites for sure).

Jungle - straight banger, pretty moody though, somewhat slow bpm and is 100% a grower. the more I listened, the more things I noticed within the song that just accentuates the overall song.

Numb - the break at the chorus is pretty solid, not my first recommendation but can definitely be enjoyable if you like a mix of noisy sounds and what I'd describe as 'sleek' sounds lol.

My New World - This is their Japanese release and ... I'm starting to realize their overall sound tends to be smooth and steady... powerful sounds that make you feel like a main character that's trying to overcome some great evil. So that's the main essence of this song lmao.

Wave - pretty feel good, relaxed. Reminds me of the view by stray kids.

Off my mind - has as rich rythmic instrumental, pretty sultry/groovy sound. Nothing stand out but a solid song. The chorus has an engaging beginning.

Pinky Swear - Another Japanese release that is very wholesome and just feels like someone is telling you things will be alright.

Save me, Kill me - It makes me oddly nostalgic. It has this bittersweet sound to it. It's basically a tragic song but you can do a dramatic contemporary dance to it that would slay-

Bad Dream - I really like this one so much but again, it has that main character fighting their inner demons or something. It has the coolest break though. It's so like, 2010's club sound in a good way.

458 - banger, pretty moody as well, but gosh the chorus just GOES HARD ngl.

Tesseract - The ultimate movie song lmao. Picture someone walking in this vast desert-like terrain with a sword in hand, and then they plunge it into the ground causing shockwaves into the ground, absolutely annihilating the enemy in style. That's all I'll say.

Cinema - I really was underwhelmed with this initially but then I found myself humming the chorus. It has a light feeling to it. A simple song you can play in the background and it makes your chest less tight.

Okay, I think those are the title tracks.

Overall I'd recommend their album "'OK' Prologue : Be OK" just because it's a pretty solid glimpse into their discography OR their EP "HELLO Chapter 1: Hello, Stranger" jeez their names....

Then there are some that I find myself liking:

What you wanted - has some cool melodies. again, has a mix of sleek and noisy sounds. The chorus is sleek and the verses are what's noisy. Reminds me of Exo.

Like It That Way - Those chilled tropical vibes that were really popular a while back.

Move My Body - IT BANGS IDK WHAT ELSE TO PUT. It's the type of song that feels like a guilty pleasure. Like you play it at 3am and dance in your room but you won't outright play it for just anyone.

Black Out - Solid noisy goodness (It gives NCT 127 vibes)

Round 2 - It reminds me of Dean's music. Idk if it classifies as rnb but definitely has that laid-back vibe.

In Inazuma, Kairagis, Nobushis, even the wrath of the Almighty Shogun, cannot compare to the horror that lies deep beneath.

Five hundred years ago, when rifthounds ripped open portals with their bloody claws, demons also came stumbling into Inazuman soil. Your ancestors, bruised but still willing to fight, had dashed their way into the portal, mistaking them for the demon’s art.

Their ambitions to slay demons granted them visions, but even as they were stranded in this battling world, they did not falter. They passed on their secret arts to their children, who passed it to their children, and so forth－ until the day when Muzan was purged and the demon population was wiped out, your ancestors refused to give in.

Unfortunately, so neither did demons. Though some of them went rogue, civilians always mistook them as a madman infected by the curse of Tataragami. Others, much more intelligent and corruptive, hid in secluded villages and shadows of the night.

Over centuries, the system that once belonged in the Taisho period slowly rebuilt itself with the help of many kind-hearted souls. Both slayers and demons got accustomed to this mystical world of Teyvat. They weren’t sure if Muzan was here, or any of the Upper Moons, or if Muzan had any contact with them at all, if he was in the other world. 

The motive to slay Muzan slowly shifted into slaying demons in general. If Muzan were to be slain, it would be best to save those who might become victims of his subject’s hunger.

You sort of thought this was all bullshit, but something told you this was right, you did belong to another world, had paths not been strayed. It doesn’t matter, though. All that mattered was getting rid of those pesky demons, even if it costed you your life.

Like the one you’re fighting now. You’re loud and lively to a default－ but when on duty, you’re as quiet as the whispers of the wind.

You still don’t really understand how you got a Pyro vision, of all things. Perhaps it’s your short temper that always flares at the slightest inconvenience. You still think Anemo would suit you better.

You need to get rid of this little shit quickly.

“You cannot dream to wound me!” The demon hissed, prancing about as your slashes barely miss their mark. “For I am－”

“I don’t give a goddamn shit of what you once were,” You scoff. “You were a general? Great. Fantastic. You’re a demon now, and it’s my job to slay you.”

“‘Slay’? Tch. Cut the fancy talk. If you wanna kill me, just say so.”

The demon aims its deadly punches towards you, but you defend it easily with your fourth form. “Big talk for a guy who isn’t even an Upper Moon.”

“Fifth form: Flaming Tiger!”

A tiger in form of flames glows with your bright vision, slashing the monstrous face with a roar.

“Argh!” The demon screeches, and you pray no one is nearby to hear it. It’s shrill and is outright disgustingly loud.

“Fuck! How is this fair? You guys were already a nuisance, and now you all have visions!”

You pause. “Oh? So you’re from the old world?”

The demon’s breath hitches, and you grin. “Playtime’s over.”

In an blink of an eye, you dash behind the demon’s back. You force him down onto the ground. You hear bones crack, but this should be nothing for him.

He struggles with the power of a centenarian, but you’re a demon slayer, and you’re going to act like one.

“Interesting…” You mutter, as you feel the shivers of the demon vibrate against you. “It’s been a while since I’ve heard from one of you. What can you tell me about the old world?”

The demon continues to struggle, and you sigh, teasing him by pushing the blade further. It’s painted a beautiful red, crafted from only the best swordsmen. Its blade shines under the moonlight, begging to be coated with the red of bloodshed.

It would get the chance. “Never let an enemy go”, your father always reminded.

You hum. “It’s a fair trade, isn’t it? You give me some info, reminisce, and I let you go.”

You feel the saliva that’s spat on your face, but you don’t flinch. The demon scoffs below you.

“As if I’d believe that. You slayers will never, ever let go of their targets, even at the cost of their own lives.”

Now that sounded a little too much like your father, and your eyes narrow.

No way.

“Were you, by a chance, a slayer?”

The demon says nothing, but the remorse and regret that coats his eyes a misty red tells as much. A horrible, sinking feeling pools deep in your gut.

Suddenly, he feels too human, too alive.

In your emotional turmoil, you move forward, pressing your blade further so it scratches the skin. A line of blood flows out, and the demon finally lets a peak of fear overwhelm him.

“I- it’s a place without gods or ghosts and shit!” The demon spews out despite your surprise, “I- I could’ve integrated into human society if it weren’t for you all, a- and technology was much more advanced then－”

“Cut the crap. Same wimp, same responses.” You tut, masking the surprise with a scowl. You would make fun of him if it wasn’t a reoccurring sight.

To be honest, you’re not sure if you wouldn’t drop everything for the sake of your own life.

“Say ‘Muzan’.”

For a moment, there is silence. The dread the demon feels is almost contagious; you almost feel your own heart beat widely because of it.

The demon flailed around. “No! No! I refuse－”

“Would you rather die at your master’s hands, a dutiful and loyal servant, or die at the hands of a crybaby?”

“Damn you, you witch－”

Someone’s here.

The wind tells you such. It isn’t a slayer, or a demon. It’s a normal civilian.

Well. Time to put this conversation to a rest.

You slice the demon’s head off with one, clean strike, pick it up and begin racing off.

Shit, you knew it was a bad idea to fight near Konda Village!

Concentrate. Let the wind take over your feet.

Total concentration breathing (or something along the lines, you couldn’t have bothered to remember) works well for situations like these.

Cradled between your arms, the demon recovers from his shock and begins to scream. At least it doesn’t seem to regenerate.

You race through forests and hillsides. It is until you are near the beaches just near Konda Village that you put the head down on the sandy coastline.

The waves gentle pushes the head.

You kneel before its disintegrating figure. He has a rather strong soul; though in the face of eternal hell, he refuses to curse or submit into his tears.

Unfortunately, it will get him almost nowhere.

Fuck. Masking sympathy was never your strong suit.

“You were once human too, were you not?” You ask.

“Big surprise.” The demon scoffs.

You furrow your eyebrows.

Every being deserves some form of closure. Sometimes, it was your personal job to make sure for them to depart from this world with certainty, and without doubt.

“You lived to save, to slay demons once. What happened?” You pressed on.

The demon pauses. “I… I don’t remember.”

You sigh. “It’s okay.”

(They hardly ever do. The lucky ones remember, just before the brink of death.)

A man that lived years beyond the war of Khaenri’ah, and continued to be fearful of the sun for many, many moons.

“You suffered for a long time, haven’t you?” You mutter.

Silence befalls them, for just a while. You hear the ocean’s beckoning.

“I killed people.” The demon reminds, as if it was in disbelief of your gentle approach. You can’t blame him. It was such a large contrast to your near sadistic nature on the battlefield. “I tore their flesh and threw away their bones. I－ I couldn’t control it.”

“I know.” You sigh. “And I will never forgive you for that. But still… it still have had to hurt.”

You can’t imagine the pain some of the demons went through. Damn it, the cruelty of your blade and the pity of your words were so different. You wish you could just stick to one side.

It almost always gave you backlash during the first few times you slayed someone. The difference when they’re still alive and running and when they’re dying is outright frightening. Then again, their memories never truly return to them until they are at the brink of death, do they?

You’re far too flexible. Even the most evil people give you a sense of hope of their redemption, and long as they’re nice.

You really need to change that mentality.

“What’s your name?” You ask. It’s common courtesy for you, and you only.

(It’s a blatant excuse, but you ignore the truth.)

“My name…? Sato. Akira Sato. That’s right… I was named after my mother’s wisdom.”

You snort despite yourself. Wisdom? Bullshit. “Sorry.”

The demon didn’t react to it. “Hm. I never wanted to fight. It was… just part of the family. I wanted…”

The demon trails off, and his eyes shift away. “I don’t deserve to want.”

“No, you don’t.” You agree.

“Do you think… there is peace, in hell?”

You shrug. “Maybe.”

Sato laughs, as his face disintegrates until his mouth remains. It’s hoarse and small and vulnerable, and you hate it.

“Hm.” You murmer. You’re not sure whether to give him false hope or not. “May you condemn for your sins in hell, Mr. Sato.”

“Heh.” Sato chuckles, as only his mouth remains. “I wonder if I will be back to my old world, or drown in the Abyss…?”

It pains you, to see a person converted be ruined a chance of another life. Your fist clenched at the hatred you harbor for Muzan. “Rest assured, Mr. Sato. Muzan will join you soon.”

“That’s not really an assurance.” Sato mutters. “But thank you. …Ah, I couldn’t see the sunrise with her… What a shame… heh…”

The last bit of Sato fades into the first rays of dawn, and you stand up. 

Akira Sato… you’re not sure if records surviving of him still exist, but you still have time to set up a grave for him. 

You have always made graves for those you slayed. There are no bodies or cremated ashes to bury, but your memory will always linger. And that, in a way, is a sort of eternity that the Shogun wishes to pursuit, is it not?

You sigh, but your voice sharpens. “Show yourself. I know you’ve been watching.”

The bushes refuse to make a sound, and you have to give credit for the eavesdropper. “Really?” You snap.

A slow, amused chuckle comes from the man emerging from the bushes. You recognize it almost immediately. You’ve heard it during the capture of criminals, when you were still sneaking in and out in the middle of the night.

“Most people here are really dense. Just one look and they erase their suspicions. But I suppose you are an exception?”

You grin despite the panic. You’ve never been caught before. “I could say the same for you, Detective Shikanoin.”

The man’s smile is friendly, but his gaze is sharp and demands answers. The sun is rising already, and killing an innocent witness would be both heavily against your morals and a hassel.

He crosses his arms. “Let’s take this discussion somewhere else, shall we?”

Maja’s STRAY KIDS Concert experience and thoughts (aka probably just me fangirling)!

Under the cut, cause I don’t know how long this will turn out to be.. Will also include some of my bad pics lol

September 17th 2022! 

The day my mind was blown to oblivian, cause Minho THE MINHO is actually real, like what an actual wild concept. Not in like a “I don’t see him as a real person” weirdo kind of way, but in a “I have only ever seen this dude on a computer screen and it’s wild that he actually exists” kind of way. It’s the same for all of the members of course, but I am nothing if not Minho biased lol. 

Ever since the evening the day before the concert, I was so freaking nervous. Like one would seriously think I was the one performing, that’s how nervous I was lmao. Guess it was the realization that I was actually seeing my dude of all dudes (read ultimate bias (sorry Seonghwa)) irl. Even now, just thinking about it makes my stomach turn lmao. I still can’t believe it. 

I had a way better seat than I expected, and I really felt like they were SO close even though I was on the second floor. It was truly wild. 

When the concert started I seriously couldn’t do anything, but watch in awe. I was literally just shook SHOOK! They started with Maniac and Venom, which has never been my favourite songs, but they were absolutely amazing. AND THEN THEY DID RED LIGHTS AS ONE OF THE FIRST SONGS, LIKE WHAT THE HELL. Can’t believe one of my first looks of skz irl is them tied up by their necks??

When they said hello, I was just out of it. It was truly like an out of body experience, I could not with my excitement lol (in reality I just kept on saying “wahh” every five minutes). 

Minho was of course Minho, and when he greeted us, he was like “you already know my name”ish and got us to yell his name, but then he was like “No, there’s something missing at the front” and everyone was like “???” and he was like “I’m Stray Kids’ Lee Know” as if we could know that was his intention. I love him and he is just ethereal and his humor is just amazing. Also, I have never been more happy to know Korean than I was at this concert. It really made it so much more fun, cause the members were all hilarious!! 

I don’t remember what it was, but at their ment, Chan said some kind of joke and Felix just went “Ah, how fun” in the most dry tone ever and everyone laughed. He seemed to be confused tho, cause I’m pretty sure he didn’t mean for it to be that dry lol.  

Then (I think it was now?? Oh well) Minho and Seungmin were charged with having to introduce the new song, but it was just them meowing and barking at each other?? Minho got so red lmao. The song was Easy lol. Apparently the thing was that it was very easy to guess? Which it really was not. 

I don’t remember everything in the correct order probably, but who cares lol. They also said they were going to try something new, and that the people on the second floor (aka me) would also get to see them close! So every time the light went out, everyone was just waiting for where they would appear again lmao. 

Y’all, I got to hear CHEESE live? Like damn, absolutely amazing! I love CHEESE lol

They also did Lonely St. with standing mics!! Absolutely amazing if you ask me lol. But tbh the whole concert was, so yeah. 

They showed their mashup for the new album and then they performed the three unit songs!! 3Racha began by absolutely slaying, and damn, rapper Bang Chan is back back!!! Then Danceracha went on to absolutely end me. Like my jaw was literally at the floor the whole time. It was sexy sexy sexy. Like Wow but times ten. Who knew that was even possible? And the Vocalracha ended the unit songs, by having the best song ever. It’s such a happy “I really like you!!” kind of song and they absolutely slayed, I can’t wait for the studio version for real!! 

At the following ment, Minho was like “I have a question for STAY and you have to answer truthfully! Did you all do the STAY pose, when you met outside of the stadium?” then the other members went on about how it must be embarrassing to do, and Minho was like “I’m in I and I can do it?” and they were all like “You’re not an I. There’s no way you’re an I.” Then they went on to coming up with other things STAYs could do to see if someone was a STAY. Changbin (I think it was him) suggested finger hearts, but they all agreed, that that would be awkward if the other person wasn’t a stay lmao. They ended up settling for doing the skz greeting with eachother, cause that would be easy to play off, if the other person wasn’t a stay. 

They also performed Circus and Fam Korean versions! 

After they performed Fam, they wanted to hear us yell their names but without the in-ears in. It went like *Chan says his line about I.N and we yell “I.N”* and everything went great until it got to, when we had to yell Hyunjin’s name. This is where, some people have probably seen the video online, if not you can find it HERE! Han said his line about Hyunjin, but like 80% of the stadium didn’t yell his name and it was just confused silence. Here is where I’ve seen some weird misunderstandings run around on twitter, about how “Korean fans never screams a lot for Hyunjin >:(” and “Why did nobody scream his name? :(” and “The fans didn’t know they were supposed to scream the names”, but take it from someone who was there and didn’t scream his name at first, it wasn’t like that at all. It wasn’t some weird “Korean stays don’t like Hyunjin kind of thing” like what even? It was just confusion! Han said his line which was just “Artist”, but it sounded so much like he said “I.N” and everyone was confused, cause we had already screamed his name once. That’s really all there was to it. So Han just repeated his line and everyone screamed “Hyunjin” really loud after that! It wasn’t at all any ill-feelings towards Hyunjin. It was just pure confusion lmao! 

At one point they got into some carts(?) I’ll call them carts lol, and they drove around between the second and first floor! They were so close, like what even. They were like really really close, I still can’t believe it.. 

As it does at every concert, they have to say goodbye, and Han was tasked with the role of being the one to be like “We really want to stay, but...” and we, the fans, were all like “Awww :(” and Han was like “This makes me the bad guy” and everybody laughed. 

Between them leaving the stage and the encore (Is it really an encore, when everyone know it’s going to happen?) there were three STAY games. The first one was, the camera filming someone in the audience and that STAY had to immitate the pose on the screen. Then the next one was immitating the dance and doing an ending fairy, and the last one was just for everyone to scream as loud as they could lol. That was also a reorcurring theme in the concert. The members kept on being like “that’s not enough” and making everyone scream even louder. No wonder my throat hurt when I got home lol. 

They came back for the “encore” and they performed HAVEN!! MINHO’S VOICE IN HAVEN LIVE!! VERY IMPORTANT!! I absolutely am in love with him in a non delusional way, of course. 

When they did their ending ments, they were all so happy. They were all talking about how it was a dream to perform at the KSPO stadium, and how STAY made that dream come true and how thankful they were. Felix talked about how it was the first time they were able to get that close to the fans (when they went in the carts and had to literally walk through the fans to get back to the stage), and he had never seen the love in the fans eyes that close before. He said he wondered if he really derserve all that love, and I can tell you he does! Am I tearing up writing this? Maybe.. Chan said all the fans were like 🥺🥺 looking at the members that close, and it was cute and there was so much love. 

Minho was very serious in his ending ment. He said it’s good to be serious sometimes. He talked about how, when he got back from the US after the tour, he had some time to himself and he kind of had an identity crisis? He said he thought a lot about who he is. Is he Stray Kids’ Lee Know or is he Lee Minho? He said it’s very important to take some time to yourself and be serious and think about stuff. He said that STAY should also take some time for themselves sometimes! 

At the end nobody wanted them to leave and they didn’t want to leave either. Chan kept on asking if they should just start from the beginning again, and he started imitating the sound of the intro to the concert version of Maniac, and some of the other members joined in. In the end, they did have to go. Felix was the last one leaving and he kept on yelling “I love you STAYs” and it was just really wholesome. 

Anyways I love them a whole damn lot. I still can’t believe I saw them live. I didn’t really know how to feel, when the concert was done lol. Surprisingly I didn’t cry at the concert or anything, cause I think I was in lowkey shock lol. I was yesterday too, but now, writing this long post, I am suddenly really emotional and touched lol. This was a big day and I enjoyed every single second of it (even though my buttcheek kind of hurt from the hard seat lol)! 

I love Stray Kids and Lee Minho a whole damn lot. That’s just the end of it.

Continuing my reactions to Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Quick/General Thoughts

Uhhh pretty wild there is both a solar eclipse and a super comet happening in the same summer… anyways!!!

Ba Sing Se was so messed up omg

Aang

SMH more adults trying to take advantage of Aang. I was furious with the Earth Kingdom general who tried to force Aang to fight the Fire Lord well before he was ready. Clearly he was not ready! And then the audacity for him to attack Aang and then Katara to provoke the Avatar state was whole levels of messed up. 

The Great Appa Kidnapping: Yeah, so, as soon as the sand traders took him, I was like, “Oh no. I’ve heard about this. They are going to be in trouble!” But even then I didn’t know it stretched out over so many episodes. These episodes broke my heart! Aang’s complete distress at having lost Appa. Then the episode from Appa’s POV. Poor Appa! He goes through so much. It’s devastating. And then both Appa and Aang both dream of how they originally met each other? UNFAIR. CRUEL. HOW DARE THE CREATORS DO THIS TO ME. (I’m being facetious I love it I live for this kind of drama this is how i express they were doing good storytelling)

The whole “final chakra” being about letting go of attachments… hmm that felt VERY Star Wars of them… Filoni is this your doing? (Although actually I don’t remember seeing his name on any Book 2 episodes.)

Sokka

My fave continues to be the long-suffering Sokka, just trying to get his family to Omashu, it shouldn’t be this hard!!! This was literally what I wrote at the time of watching “Chapter Two: The Cave of Two Lovers,” and OH LITTLE DID I KNOW!!! [cut to Book 3… lmao… anyways]

Sokka making a map to help keep track of the maze-like cave/tunnel is actually really clever. I can’t believe people think he’s stupid. I mean, sure, it didn’t end up working, but that’s because the cave was magic or whatever, and that is beyond his control!

Side note, but lol at Sokka’s purchases and love for shopping. His ridiculous belt! How excited he was that it matched his bag!

Second side note, I was pretty excited to see that gif where Sokka is making that “I’m watching you” gesture and then goes “Water tribe!”

Katara

Yeah, notice how I don’t have much to say about Katara? It’s not that I don’t like her or that I don’t think she’s interesting, but. I just don’t really have a lot to say about her. 

I was amused by how she handled those bullies. My impression before I started watching was that she was going to be this like, pure and GoodTM character, but she definitely has her flaws and that is better.

I really liked the scene where she is able to calm Aang down while he’s in the Avatar state. There was good build up to that, showing her worry every time he entered it and her awareness of the fact that he only ever enters it when feeling upset. The fact that she was able to do that clearly Meant Something. So again, I suppose, I really feel up to this point that the show is very much like “Aang/Katara Endgame!” it felt very obvious to me. And I knew before starting the show that Zuko and Katara are a thing — but Aang and Katara is just so heavy handed that it was impossible for me to ship them with anyone else. They were just foundational to the show. Like it always felt like a foregone conclusion to me, almost as if they were established from the beginning although they obviously weren’t.

Toph

I spent like, the second half of Book 1 thinking “WHEN TOPH WHEN TOPH!” Imagine my ire that she still isn’t around for the first five episodes of Book 2, which is titled “EARTH” my goodness.

But OH was I delighted by “Chapter 6: The Blind Bandit”!!! I loved her intro, I loved how Aang is just immediately in awe of her skills when he sees her. He knows she’s exactly the teacher he’s been waiting for. “She waited and listened!” he says. Yes. I love it. (But also, lol at Sokka booing Aang.) Despite this, Aang really does not handle that first interaction very well!

So frustrating how her parents were treating her. “She’s fragile and helpless!” what a thing to say about your daughter. [Also you literally named her “tough”?!] And he is basically going to imprison her, wtf. & how do you get off saying “the avatar is no longer welcome here”?! smh children whose parents try to “control” their kids always end up being the most rebellious.

I was amused that “my dad changed his mind” apparently was a popular lie daughters use on this show. *facepalm*

I liked the contrast between how Toph wanted to teach Aang and how Katara thought he should be taught! That was interesting. And yeah, Toph certainly lives up to her name. 

Zuko & Iroh

Spent a good portion of the early part of this season wondering how Zuko and Iroh could possibly be related to the awful Fire Lord (and Azula for that matter — jeez she is nuts!), and longing to know what happened to Zuko’s mom. (Obviously that would be answered soon!)

Knowing that Zuko eventually joins the Aang crew, but also remembering that I never saw Iroh with them, made me SEVERELY worried that something terrible would happen to Iroh. And I spent the entire rest of the series worrying about that. Uh, especially since, apparently Iroh is hopeless at Survival 101. Honestly that was surprising to me. 

Zuko deciding they needed to split up was devastating!!! No!!! I loved the adventures of Zuko & Iroh!! He said, “There's no reason for us to stick together,” and I was like, “Yes there is you idiot! Because you’re family and you love each other!!!” I was so sad. I mean, also Iroh is currently the only person who likes Zuko, so, you know, that might be a good reason to stay with him. Just a thought. 

The last thing Zuko needs is to be alone, that will NOT be good for his issues. And lo and behold, look! Immediately, he’s struggling on his own. But I did like that episode (“Chapter 7: Zuko Alone”) because we get to see Zuko’s mom! (Uh, did she have a name?) Turtle ducks are so cute.

“Everything I’ve done I’ve done to protect you.” THIS. SLAYED. ME!!!!!! I mean, y’all know Rogue One is my jam so this parallel with Zuko’s mom and Galen Erso????? I lost it. I just lost it. Plus, though it isn’t confirmed until later, we can tell she’s sacrificing herself to save Zuko and just. (A) what a completely messed up family, but (B) MY HEART. SHE BETTER BE ALIVE is all I’m saying.

Interesting side note: they never show Ozai’s face in the early seasons. 

If you assumed that I was delighted to see Iroh has been tailing Zuko this whole time, you’d be correct. I had hoped that was the case and was very glad it was. Although *facepalm* again at Zuko. I suppose he had no way of knowing Katara had healing powers but it was so frustrating knowing if he had just listened to them for one minute they could have helped Iroh after Azula blasted him. At least he made him tea and nursed him back to health. 

If the evil advisor of Ba Sing Se had files on everyone and knew everything that went on… I mean… did he know about Iroh and Zuko? 

I didn’t jot down any notes about this at the time, BUT. Man. Did I ADORE Zuko and Iroh’s adventures in Ba Sing Se. I mean it was a nice relief from all the other crazy stuff happening. (Not happy to see Jet though. Ugh.) 

Finally, though, Zuko’s betrayal at the very end of the season totally shocked me. Because of spoilers, I knew he’d join Aang’s crew, and so it was so confusing! And such a regression, I really didn’t understand it and was very worried about what it would mean for his redemption arc — but more on that in the next post, don’t want to get ahead.

Azula

Oh. Boy. Again, I knew she was going to be crazy, but I don’t think I was prepared for just how messed up she is. “Do the tides command this ship. You said they would not allow us…” Jeez that is pedantic in a very bizarre way and obviously not what was meant… Yikes.

Also, Azula is much better at finding Zuko than Zuko is at finding Aang. Just a stray observation.

“Father regrets your banishment. He wants you home.” [insert IT’s A TRAP gif here]

“If the Earth Kingdom finds us, they'll have us killed. If the Fire Nation finds us, they'll turn us over to Azula. Earth kingdom it is.” Yeah, this line was hilarious but also sad. It really said a lot about Azula, and Zuko and Iroh’s relationship with her.

Had no idea Azula had her own crew. It was incredibly clear that Ty Lee felt coerced to join her and didn’t really want to, but that was less clear to me for Mai. Mainly seemed like Mai was bored with where she was and was just like “shrugs might as well do evil stuff.” 

I did know that a character named “Mai” would eventually be Zuko’s love interest (and it is pretty heavily portrayed that she has a crush on him), so at this point, I was very much like, “Hmm. This character is too apathetic and annoying, I don’t want her to end up with Zuko!” Plus, the fact that her name was pronounced “May,” (which was not how I thought “Mai” was pronounced) and I knew Zuko would have a thing with a lady in a tea shop, I wasn’t 100% sure Zuko/Mai were end game. 

“She’s crazy and she needs to go down.” I think Iroh said this. I just don’t know what to say. Why is Azula the way she is? That’s never entirely clear to me. In some ways, it’s implied she was just Like That (in the flashback where mom is like “What is wrong with you?”) and perhaps she’s just her father’s daughter. I don’t need a reason, per se. Idk. I just don’t know what to say to her. She clearly needs help.

 Woojin - Prince Charming

Woojin reminds me of Prince Charming because 1. In Cinderella Prince Charming is pretty particular about who he wants to marry and I feel like Woojin is the same with regards to who he’d potentially fall for . 2. Woojin is pretty classy tbh like the boy likes to go ring shopping in his spare time so it would make sense he’d be the romantic lead of such a Disney classic. 3. Prince Charming spends ages looking for the girl who will fit the glass slipper which seems very k-dramaesque haha and idk Woojin reminds me of the lead of a kdrama. 

Bang Chan - Aladdin

 1. Isn’t magic carpet riding basically just surfing in the sky and he loves the beach soo..? 2. Chan has gone through a lot in his life it seems mentally, maybe not stealing food to survive but y’know the boy seems streetwise enough. 3. JYP can be the genie. 4. I see the whole “I wanted to be something perfect because I thought it would achieve my goals” arc is pretty appropriate for Chan, because I feel like it’s took him some time to be like un-apologetically himself. 

Lee Know - Flynn Ryder

1. I feel like Minho puts up walls like Flynn to kind of seem a bit aloof and cyncial and all he needs is a Rapunzel type of girl to open up his more sensitive side. 2. Flynn is sassy. Minho is sassy? 3. Minho just dosen’t strike me as the conventional prince type you know. 4. The Flynn Ryder part of I’ve got a dream song just seems so his type of humour lol. 

Changbin - The Beast

1. Okay hear me out. When performing on stage he has like a dark aura but off stage he’s like our little baby Binnie. That’s some character development right there. 2. I feel like I’m digging myself a hole so I’m going to stop talking. 3. I really do love Changbin don’t come for me lmao. 4. I guess it’s just the arc of Beauty and The Beast and the development of the Beast is what makes me think he’d suit this faerie tale.

Han - Prince Naveen

1. Don’t ask me why. This just makes sense. 2. Prince Narveen is just trying to have some banter and a good time, he’s also the smiliest of the princes and the most cheerful #PrinceNarveen4DVisualCentreHappyVirusGOD 3. Han would slay as a frog. 4. I feel like my reasons are slowly getting worse as this list goes on

Hyunjin - The Prince

1. The Prince is a visual god. He don’t need no name. He don’t need no screen time. And Hyunjin as we know is v v v v pretty. 2. Hyunjin’s visuals save lives just like how the Prince kisses Snow White and saves hers. All Hyunjin needs to do is touch us mere mortals and we will live forever. 3. Hyunjin alike Woojin just deserves to be an OJ prince. 

Seungmin - Prince Phillip 

1. Only him and his Sleeping Beauty sing Day6 songs to each other when they meet for the first time. 2. When he goes to save the Princess he shouts “Seungmin In The Building!” 3. Prince Phillip is a traditional prince but a bit more proactive which I think suits Seungmin.

Felix - Peter Pan

1. Felix is still very boyish and idk the relationship between Wendy and Peter is the sweetest. 2. Peter Pan has ginger hair which is Felix’s most iconic look. He has the aesthetic. 3. I don’t have any memes for this I think this would just genuinely be cute and a genuine worthy AU.

IN - Kristoff

1. In Frozen Kristoff seems to just have this aura of somewhat innocence which IN has. 2. IN with a reindeer companion is a concept 3. IN always looks cute in hats. my personal favorite is definitely “no lie”, I just wished they would promote it more than “salute”. but I felt blessed that they actually performed “no lie”, and the choreography was amazing.

yet onda and yiren really suited the “salute” concept

i personally think that the line distribution is lazy, for example “no lie” and “player”, mia is singing the chorus over and over again. it’s like the producer made her record the chorus part then just used it for the entire song and not ask a different member to record the 2nd chorus.

overall, I really like this comeback. my only complain is that I wish the line distribution was fairer. it’s unfair to all members, including mia. I hope that she isn’t feeling overworked because of having to sing so many lines while doing the dance break as well.

No. I was expected to always be doing something. I'd consider that to be pretty unlucky, as it sounds boring and pointless. Mom has admitted me yelling has scared her before, though. I can yell pretty fucking loudly. But she herself never felt threatened. And do I think I could be seen as scary? Yes. Especially given my chronic fucking nightmares that almost always involve confrontation. In what ways do you or would you need to be validated by a partner? (For example, liking your posts/talking about you on social media, or perhaps by doting on you with gifts.) I am VERY much a "words of affirmation" person. I NEED reassurance that I'm adequate and sincerely loved. When you are having a hard time emotionally, what are some of the telltale ways that you act out or that your personality reflects your struggles? I become very snappy and more reclusive than usual. I cry really easily. Do you tend to succeed by weaning yourself off of something or by quitting cold turkey? It depends on what it is, but I've generally needed to wean myself off of things when necessary. Is there a specific type of pet breed/size/etc. that you don’t want? Why not? I am very turned off by animal breeds/types that are subject to serious health issues, such as pugs, dachsunds, Persians, spider ball pythons... Just don't fucking breed them. Ironically, some of these are the cutest, but I care far more about the health of the animal. Have you ever lived in a notoriously dangerous area? If not, would it bother you to do so? Yes and yes. Has a friend’s significant other ever interfered with or damaged your friendship? What about a significant other of yours damaging a friendship? I don't believe so, no. What, if anything, is something that you put pressure on yourself about? What do you imagine would happen if you did not live up to this expectation? Getting a job, for Heaven's sake, and actually managing to keep it. I've proven inept in this area so far, so, I've already failed that. :^) If you have been in a serious relationship, have you and your partner ever discussed lifetime plans that clashed? Jason and I kinda casually talked about kids early in our relationship, at which time I didn't see myself wanting them at all and he did at some point. It didn't really bother either of us, though; it was something we'd figure out if we actually got anywhere. Then he became the only person I could ever imagine myself having kids with. Life's funny.
