Summary: Pinterest calls me out for being a simp

So Pinterest sent me one of those “Based on what you search for” emails where they give you recommendations of Pins based on what you like…

and they gave me this…

Also creds to whoever the OG artist is who made that Leona fan art; I can’t see all of Leona in that fan art Pinterest decided to use but the way Pinterest cropped Leona, with the smirk and everything…they know what they’re doing 👀

And for context, this was the whole Pinterest email recommendation:

The recommendation on the right of the Leona one is called “Disney Anime Style” (pfft, Pinterest) with a fan art of Ariel and Villain Recruiters’ Eight Foot Joe (who I believe works for Ursula?). Also Storytime, for the longest time I was obsessed with Villain Recruiters’ because of all the fan art Pins I’d see of Villain Recruiters, but I didn’t know that they were called Villain Recruiters (those Pins don’t get labeled most of the time). So when I got a TikTok about TWST on my FYP last year, I thought TWST was Villain Recruiters or like Villain Recruiters was the original concept for TWST or something.

The bottom two Pinterest recs are kinda random: “Shop Gold Wedding Colors” and “Shop Sailor Moon Fashion.” I love how Pinterest thinks I’d have the finances for a wedding pfft. And I haven’t really looked into Sailor Moon fan art/fashion in a while so I’m surprised Pinterest recommended that to me :0.

If I’m gonna make up a little story using all these random Pinterest recommendations, it’d go like this:

- I’m a Leona simp engaged to Leona

- We’re deciding on wedding details (with a lot of gold accents)

- But I get sidetracked and tell Leona about Villain Recruiters while also shopping online for cute clothes inspired by the Sailor Scouts

Pirate Leona Comes Home at 2 a.m.

🍓 I WAITED MONTHS FOR THIS CARD

🍓 Literally did a ten pull on my first try thinking I’ll probably get him if I do a single pull later (because that’s what happened with his Fairy Gala and Birthday cards), BUT HE CAME HOME AS THE FIRST CARD ON MY FIRST TEN PULL!!!

🍓 I WISH I SCREEN RECORDED IT 😭

🍓 Lots of R Cards uncapping besides Pirate Leona coming home, and got Lilia’s Labwear card as well. I wish I got Leona’s Labwear too but I never seem to get him in ten pulls. And let me tell you, Labwear Leona lives rent free in my head.

🍓 Also in my second ten pull, Pirate Leona uncapped twice which was v nice :>

🍓 I wonder what Leona card we’ll get to pull for next in TWST EN…maybe his Union Birthday card next year or the Tsum Tsum card if TWST EN decides to release that event before Leona’s 2023 bday

🍓 But like can we just PLEASE get an Afterglow Savannah event with an SSR card where Leona wears traditional Afterglow Savannah garments?? PLEASE.

🍓 Also it’s been a while since I pulled for cards bc I just don’t really pull for cards unless there’s like a Leona card I don’t have, and when I was doing the pulls, idk why but the Dark Mirror and the flames and stuff felt like…magical??? Idk it made me feel like I was there in person but also it’s 2 a.m.

🍓 Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be finding this pirate lion level up and vignette foods so I can read his vignettes

Honestly every time I pull for Leona and get him I just imagine him coming out of the summoning coffin and him trying to say his opening line but I just interrupt him because I’m in TEARS and I’M HUGGING HIM

Is he gonna make me walk the plank for that? Yes. Am I gonna keep annoying him, though? Also yes.

🗒 Silver making a wish for Lilia to live a long life 🤧

🗒 Jamil wanting to travel the world by himself; I truly hope he gets to someday

🗒 Lilia wanting peace among all living beings…this fae has experienced so many wars and tragedies during his lifetime. If I went to NRC, I’d have a lot of conversations with Lilia about history

🗒 Floyd’s wish for custom Ténèbres shoes stood out to me because it makes me wonder who his and Jade’s father is…
