Strange Magic AU

Alastor was set to marry Vox after developing feelings for him, but has his heart broken when on the day of their wedding he finds Vox hooking up with Valentino. He calls off the wedding and swears off love, going back to hunting overlords and sharpening his craft, this time not just disinterested in love but outright bitter.

Vox did not want Alastor to know about that because he needed Alastor’s power to gain power for the Vees, but no attempt to win Alastor back works, so he recruits Velvette to craft a love potion and force the issue, unknowingly attracting the fury of the King of Hell.

Lucifer was also bitter about love after Lilith abandoned him and used so much parental alienation on their daughter that Charlie took her side, and he also still valued free will. Hearing sinners started crafting love potions went against everything Lucifer stood for and he was set to do something about it and grab the person the love potion took effect on to figure out how to help them.

But that person wasn’t Alastor, it was Alastor’s adopted daughter Niffty who was being used by Vox to lure Alastor, only Niffty drank the potion herself on accident and was subsequently taken by Lucifer. Alastor didn’t know any of that so instead of killing Vox there, he goes across hell to find his daughter and kill her kidnapper. 

Only they actually have a lot in common and find excitement in this rivalry, so once they get the fighting that quickly turns playful out of the way, they actually talk and Lucifer explains that he was trying to help Niffty but unfortunately the potion still took effect so now Niffty was madly in love with Lucifer and locked in her guest room at the moment because she was kinda scary about it. Alastor is less bothered by that than he would be normally because Niffty adores “bad boys” so the potion probably wasn't doing much.

So now the two have to find someone who knows how to break love potions, and happen to start developing feelings for each other along the way. Meanwhile Vox is hellbent on getting Alastor to marry him and plans to “rescue” Niffty to win Alastor’s favor, and if that does’t work, he has the remains of the love potion to do it with.

The Six Musical Strings

Before time began, there were… 6 Musical Strings! We know not where they came from, only that they have the power to create worlds and fill them with life. That is how the race of magical and musical beings known as trolls was born. The Six Strings are immense and nearly limitless within the universe. The Six Strings is an incredibly powerful and ancient magical artifacts. It is said to be the source of all magic/music in the world and possesses immense energy and capabilities.

Powers:

Reality Shaping: With the Six Strings, they can shape reality itself by harnessing the inherent vibrational patterns that govern the universe. It could reshape matter, alter the laws of physics, and manipulate energy on a fundamental level. Even if it's just one music string.

Creation and Destruction: Each Music String (Pop, Rock, Techno, Funk, Country, and Classical) music manipulation could be the source of both creation and destruction. By composing and conducting the strings, it could bring forth new forms of life and shape the cosmos. Conversely, it can unleash devastating sonic forces capable of obliterating entire worlds or dimensions.

Creation and Restoration: The Strings can create or restore life, and entire universes. They have the power to breathe life into inanimate matter, spawn new beings, or resurrect those who have fallen.

Destructive potential: While the six strings are primarily associated with creation and life, they can also be a destructive force if wielded improperly. Their power can be harnessed to devastating effect, capable of causing massive energy releases or even catastrophic consequences if misused or fallen into the wrong hands.

Mind Control and Influence: The Six Strings possess the ability to control or influence the minds of others. The wielder can use their music to manipulate thoughts, and emotions, or even compel individuals to act under their desires.

Worldbuilding: They can shape and mold entire worlds according to their visions and desires through their strings. They could compose melodies that bring forth new continents, majestic mountains, sprawling forests, and vibrant cities. Their music would become a creative force, imbuing these worlds with life and magic.

Population and Life Creation: They can breathe life into their creations with their music strings. They could compose melodies that give rise to diverse and fantastical creatures, populate their worlds with sentient beings, and establish intricate ecosystems. Their music would be the catalyst for the birth of life on a grand scale.

0 - 50: Babies.

50 - 100: Trollings (children - early adolescence).

100 - 150: Adolescents - Young adults.

150 - 300: Adults.

300 - 500: “Mature��� adults (white hair starts to appear on both males and females).

500 - 1000: Seniors (by this time all hair turned white).

1000 +: “Venerables” (it is rare for a Troll to reach the age of 1000 years old and beyond)

Big shout-out to the ocs and lore that depicts physical/appearance changes due to high concentration and uses of magic btw that shit is so cool. Whether your wizard's hair turns blue or straight up grows an extra arm due to the excessive amount of powerful magic they use everyday I eat that shit up. Bonus points if it's a rare/newly discovered condition or if your wizard is just straight up unrecognizable from arc 1 to arc 4. Bonus bonus points if the wizard gains a disability from it and has to learn to adapt to their new condition

Hey! Been a minute since I've come up with a new AU

Tbh this was kind of a chain event started by @ayyy-imma-ninja 's very own Fairy AU ( please go check it out their Fairy AU is so crazy cute)

It kind of reminded me of Tinkerbell and The Great Fairy Rescue Which culminated in my own Fairy AU that's a mashup of all of my favorite fairy (and fairy adjacent) movies from my childhood

So think Tinkerbell mixed with Fern Gulley and Thumbelina
