Anyways, what I was trying to say is. Like . The Eighteenth Doctor loves and cares for Humanity too much to get along with people. It's hard! All their individual pains and hates and the ways they hurt each other and the ways they hurt her to lose, pile up, and complicate everything. And her willingness to die for them, but please will they just stop asking her to, stop needing her... Just long enough to catch her breath?

Meanwhile, Missy The Second (probably*) finds it easy, easier than ever, to be charming and funny and... Nice. It's an easier discipline than Good, and gets you more praise- generally, can be quite useful- but mostly he's just. He cares enough to be doing this, trying this, but not enough to take any of it too seriously. Re-renegade, adjusting to freeing himself from his own Quests, he's just holidaying, passing through, and even without being The Master he's still as Notorious an Egotist- being likeable when he wants to pleases him.

*If the show messes up my numbers any time soon... oK, ok, id be delighted, but editing would be so annoying...

probably during the scene where badger & skinny pete help jess shower & shave & whatnot after escaping the nazis. since she’d be going with him wherever he goes, and therefore would risk being caught with him (because by this time, her own empire is crashing down & the DEA know her identity), she’d need to cut off the VERY easily recognizable messy rainbow hair. + it’d be much easier for her natural hair to grow back out if she did.
