Emerging from the claws of darkness, I sees a rising, rising to bask in the glory of the glorious sunshine. While I observe this rising, the shadows around darken with the rays of the shining sun struggling to break through beyond what I see as rising. Somewhere in the distance, observing this tussle, I overhear a bystander raising a question to his accomplice on whether he finds the darkness around the peak more over powering or this shining peak more fascinating? As if wanting to gauge his reading of who the eventual winner would be? Both begin to advocate their perspectives, as if showcasing their fascination for one of the perspectives. And I begin to think as the questions makes me think, why does it needs to be about someone winning something all the time? Does there something like victory or defeat exists in nature? Soon the nature responds without making even a murmur.... The sun eventually begins to settle down to let the darkness take over & we begin to disperse from the location with a promise to come back the next morning to observe the scene again from the same location. It’s a complete change in the scene as the darkness is completely taken over by the morning sunshine, leaving only scope for some shadows to take forms, as if they are leftovers to narrate the existence of darkness from the last evening. We bump into each other again at the location, me with my camera & the growing fascination for the changed scene & they with now a revived conversation on the scene. But I can observe a change in the tone & the subject, this time it’s no longer about predicting the outcome from the scene but it’s about the learnings from the scene. And I smile, smile while I continue my fascination with the scene, clicking every change in this scene while the nature brilliantly showcases balance with its balancing act in the scene. Thinking what a mere observation of a natural scene can teach you, I pack my camera with a mission to further learn from this transition in the scene & a hope to accept & implement this science of balance https://ift.tt/2JswYpq

I have been looking at different types of macrame wall hanging and how beautiful they decorate a room and whether I could make one on my own versus buying one. The prices I have been seeing so far do not go well with my budget, so I have been looking at DIY macrame for beginners like myself. I'm starting off the weekend planning out the week ahead and I'm wondering how I can best protect myself from this virus. It's safe to say I'm a bit apprehensive about leaving the house unless it's absolutely necessary like going to work or gym. I am very mindful to take precautions while out and about in these Toronto streets. I have been wanting to go to the grocery store to get almond milk, avocado, veggie, fruits and turkey bacon but I hear the line up are crazy at ant given grocery stores so that's not an option. Oh I totally forgot about online grocery shopping which I've used in the past and is a breeze. How is quarantined life treating you? Well as for me I am bored out of my mind completely and utterly so. I can't seem to get into a creative head space because I am so anxious all the time. My acute insomnia is back again in full swing and I think maybe the cause is my anxiety, and when sleep do comes it's at weird times and I end up sleeping for a lifetime. One upside of quarantine life is that I have read every book I have on my to-read-list and have even catch up on all my shows including reality tv fix. I believe that life present us with new opportunities each day, by us being alive and well.
