Day 2 @andersweek2025 - Tender Tuesday

Post DA2 Anders with Autumn Hawke.

A short bit of fluff from my Anders/Hawke family, set just after Hawke returns from Skyfold and the Adamant.

Autumn paused as the barn came into view, her heart thudding in her chest. This was where she had left Anders and Storm six weeks ago, buying their safety for a time with a heavy pouch of coin and a quiet plea for the farmer’s discretion. She could only hope they were still here. It wasn’t uncommon for their little family to move suddenly—to hide, to run.

Taking a deep breath, she pushed onward. Varric had promised to help them find somewhere safe. Somewhere permanent. The thought was a fragile hope she clung to as tightly as the secret she carried now.

"Heartbeats. Not just one, but two. Small, but strong. Growing. They don’t know yet, but they feel you. Safe, warm, waiting."

Cole’s cryptic words echoed in her mind, a strange comfort and a weight all at once.

"One listens, quiet, careful, like steps on wet stone. The other burns bright, golden, like a spark that won’t go out. They are not afraid. They know you will keep them safe."

Her hand brushed instinctively over her stomach, where the faintest curve had begun to show.

As she stepped into the barn, a small figure collided with her side. “Mummy!”

Storm’s arms wrapped tightly around her waist, his face lighting up with a smile that banished weeks of worry in an instant.

“Hey,” she murmured, kneeling to hug him close. “Did you miss me?”

“Did you have a good adventure?” he asked, his blue-green eyes wide with excitement. “Daddy said you’d bring back stories.”

Autumn smiled softly, brushing his unruly red hair from his face. “I did,” she promised, kissing his forehead. “But I need to talk to your father first. Do you know where he is?”

Storm nodded, pointing toward the field. “He’s fixing the fence for the farmer man.”

She ruffled his hair gently. “Stay close, alright? I’ll be back soon.”

With a nod, Storm bounded off toward a pile of hay bales. Autumn stood, adjusting her cloak and heading toward the field.

Anders stood with his back to her, his golden hair tied messily at the nape of his neck as he worked on the fence. The rhythmic clang of hammer against wood filled the air, but it faltered when she called his name.

“Anders.”

He froze mid-swing, the hammer slipping from his grasp as he turned. When their eyes met, relief washed over his face, followed by something deeper. He crossed the distance between them quickly, pulling her into his arms as if afraid she might vanish.

“You’re back,” he breathed, his voice thick with emotion.

“I’m back,” she murmured, holding him close as she could already feel his magic ghosting over her skin, looking, searching for injuries.

"I have news," she said quietly.

Anders pulled back slightly, his hands lingering on her arms as his amber eyes scanned her face. “News?”

Autumn hesitated for a heartbeat, rehearsed words tangling in her throat. Instead of speaking, she took his hand and guided it to her stomach. The faint curve was barely noticeable, but when his palm rested there, the warmth of his magic seemed to settle, searching, sensing.

His breath hitched. His eyes darted between her face and where his hand rested. “You’re…?”

“I’m pregnant,” she whispered, her voice steady but soft. She swallowed and added, “It’s twins.”

Anders froze, his entire body going still as if the weight of her words had rooted him to the earth. “Twins?” he repeated.

Autumn nodded, watching the storm of emotions play across his face—shock, fear, awe, and something else, something fragile and hopeful. His hand trembled against her stomach, his magic flickering faintly as if responding to his turmoil. "Varric promised to help. To find us somewhere safe. No more running. We can be a real family, Anders."

“I…” His voice cracked, and he shook his head, letting out a shaky breath. “I don’t know if I can do this again, Autumn. Storm… I was so scared I’d ruin him, and now—”

Her hands came up to cup his face, “You won’t,” she said firmly, her blue eyes meeting his, “You didn’t ruin Storm. Look at him, Anders. He’s happy. He’s strong. He adores you.” She smiled softly, brushing a stray lock of golden hair from his forehead. “And these two—they’ll adore you too. Just like I do.”

So the only instance of "respect" in any of my active wips is one of my "warm up" docs that's written for me and me only, so uh. Inquistor Nik. (Nik from my Fae w359 au in dragon age inquisition.)

"Since when do you carry a bow?"

"Since it became necessary," he said. "I don't want it. It's saved my life."

The look in Renée's eyes changed, and she took in the bow with respect instead of trepidation. "Then it's the most beautiful bow I've ever laid eyes on."

Slowly working on a AU called Stormverse!

If you can't tell from the Name. The Ancient Storm that troubled the whole World. Is still very much kicking, and booming. Changing pretty much everything, and the Characters themselves.

Trying to Finish a General look at. Of the new looks of each of the races rn. Figure out the new Mancers. And how each Race evolved into what they are now.

Storm 'Rook' HAwke is the son of Anders and Autumn Hawke (one of my OCs) so he has actually met some of the previous protags and companions 😂 right, let's og a game at a time.

Origins:

HOF warden Aimil…. she would get frustrated by his impatience to be honest… she wouldn't dislike him, but I Don;t think she's recruit him either.

Alister… this could be a disaster, mainly as I have just realised they are worryingly similar in some ways. I think Aimil would try to keep them apart to avoid a disaster…

Morrigan… I think Storm would find her fascinating, but also not trust her, not even a little bit. She would probably find him irritating.

Leliana… she would appreciate Storms passion, but find his quick temper and occasional impatience an issue. I can she her trying to subtly lecture him without lecturing - if that makes sense.

Shale… I think they would both confuse each other to be honest. They'd be civil, but not exactly friends.

Wayne… she's adopt him, and Storm would hate it. I think he would quickly start to feel that everything he does disappoints her, and as he has secret insecurity issues already this would be an issue.

Oghren... this could go either way I think. They both have a bit of a rebellious streak, but in very different ways. I think they would be good drinking buddies, but there is potential for them both to run the other the wrong way - especially if Oghren found out about Storm's fear of Hurlocks as I can see him either flat out insulting STorm about it, or doing a teasing banter that Storm takes the wrong way.

Sten… Storm would feel judged, and Sten would be judging.

Zevren… Chaos. This would be chaos. Storm wants to be Zev, Zev find it amusing. They cause chaos together.

DA2:

Hawke (Autumn)… well she's his mum, so… They get on to a degree, but there's a part of him that kind of feels stuck in her shadow, they clash at times, but deep down, Storm respects her more than he admits.

Anders… storm has a complicated relationship with Anders, a bit of a personality clash unfortunately that got worse as Storm got older, and then their relationship almost fractured entirely when Storm became a Grey Warden. They are still civil, but their relationship is definitely strained.

Varric… Storm was close with Uncle Varric growing up, he loved it when Varric wrote letters about his 'adventures' (hunting for Solas mainly, but you know, to a kid that sounds like an adventure) and loved it when Varric occasionally visited.

Merril… Storm has never actually met Merrill (yet) but she wrote to the Hawke's regularly when he was a kid and regularly sent packages of her homemade teas. Asher Storms magic manifested and it became clear that he couldn't heal she also started to see recipes for different healing potions and salves, a lot of his interest in herbology actually Congress from her influence. I think they'd get in fairly well, he might have issue with the v blood magic - because both autumn and Anders had issues with that and have likely given him a slightly biased impression of the topic, but I think he'd get past it fairly fast.

Fenris… Storm has met Fenris only once, and as he was a toddler at the time he can't remember him. He was also in touch a lot less than his parents other friends. If (when) they met now they would likely clash at first, but there's potential there for them to get on.

Isabella… Storm has a lot of memories of getting into mischief with Aunt Bela as a kid, but he's not seen her since he was 15.

Aveline… Oh that would probably not be great. I think Storm might remind Aveline too much of his parents worst (in her opinion) qualities.

Sebastian… Let's hope they don't meet, being Anders kid I'm not sure it would go well.

Justic/Vengeance: as storms 'thire parent' they need a mention 😅. Storm and Justice get on fairly well, in part because Justice regularly takes Storms side in arguments with his parents - Storm may have learnt early how to manipulate the spirit.

Inquisition:

I'll be honest, this is the group I'm least familiar with…

Iquisitor Ceitidh… their sarcasm would make them get along well, but Storm's quick temper might create tension at times. I feel Ceitidh would be frustrated with him and maybe find him reckless.

Cullen… Storm and Cullen would definitely clash. Cullen's strict idealism and disciplined approach to things would probably frustrate Storm's more impulsive, “act now” tendencies. They'd have moments where they'd disagree on how to handle situations, and Storm would likely feel like Cullen is treating him like a kid at times.

Vivienne… Storm would find Vivienne’s confidence and intelligence admirable but also frustrating. She embodies tradition and order, which would likely rub Storm the wrong way.

Josephine… Josephine would likely find Storm's impatience frustrating, but she would also respect his passion and desire to do the right thing. Like Leliana I think she's try to gently steer Storm, which he'd resent if he realised.

Dorian… Storm would likely get along with Dorian. I think they would have some interesting banter, but Dorian might find Storms impatient frustrating at times.

Cole… Well Storm is fairly used to spirits, but compassion is very different to Justice/Vengeance. I think Storm might find Coles more cryptic nature confusing, but he'd also probably try to engage with him a lot.

Sera… Storm and Sera would probably get along pretty well. Both have a rebellious nature, and they’d likely bond over their shared dislike of authority and tradition. However, Storm might find Sera��s bluntness a bit abrasive at times. Sera, on the other hand, might find Storm’s more restrained approach a bit too serious for her tastes.

Cassandra… Storm is not a fan of authority. I think Cassandra would probably be one of the more difficult relationships. Also… Well his father is Anders 🤷 .

The Iron Bull… Storm and Iron Bull would probably get along well on a surface level, but there could be issues if they ever attempted to have a note in-depth discussion or actually tried to work together.

Solas… Storm and Solas would definitely clash.

Hi i just started way of the kings, bc that was the only book from sanderson that i found, and i really wanted to start a deep series (like i have completed both percy jackson series, all 4 shadowhunter series, sjm universe all 3 series and ofc harry potter) and they were good but i wanted a more deeper well thought out more mature series, and i heard everyone like not even one single bad review from my fav book readers that i follow. I really hope i love this (cldnt get into lor or got series idk why maybe will give a try again) but can you give a timeline or any link which will explain it and the sequence of books in each series, if you wont mind. thanks,

ps its sort of sad the low amount of effort that bighit puts into jimin releases, not even mere promotion or posters even or pre order/save links or a larger grp of sites to but from or a europe ver album (which btw all of teh above that everyone else got, all the members did and pjms (no major account or so called ot7 army) are the ones promoting or putting up fliers and posters for promoting its just sad and so hurtful to see. its just so sad when people put side by side pics of jm and other member's stores and pre order links for thier albums and see jm's being like 4 stores long just that short list, it was really just sad. people have to beg them to give the pre -release songs pre order and pre save list and got that liek 2 days before the release, is just straight up negligence and mistreatment, it was really shocking to see esp since i became an army during proof era and the chapter 2 comebacks were my real full comebacks the clear discrepancies in releases of jm and others shocking (i agree even v faced some but not to this amount sry and how the rap line projects always get the lowest amount of engagement esp hobi and his hots album/documentary) i dont like solos always but in these moments when i see real tiem engagement by pjms on insta and twt i sort of become thankful for them, bc otherwise this album would have been in the gutter and esp with geffen vp streaming head's twt/comment , its really just disgusting to see, never have i seen such blatant disregard for an album release. Its just sad just very sad. anyways, thanks for the stormverse information in your recent ask, it helped a lot!

As for the rest of your rant, I can agree that the effort Hybe has been putting into promotions for BTS lately have been abysmal, especially for who BTS are. They can and should be doing better in that aspect. But I don't super want to get into that honestly. Lol I just want to focus on enjoying what IS coming out and the efforts from the fandom too

I am a big supporter of top Etho. He's a tall ass Canadian man who works out and eats healthy like he's 63. He's got himself together enough and is great at games and is just smart in general. On that note.... yeah there are only 2 people who I think can actually top him.

First one is mister Skizzle. This could go either way, in Imp's among us vids I noticed how Etho calls skizz "skizzle" and it's the most adorable thing ever (someone else has also mentioned this before). Anyways, Skizz is such a controlling person, he really needs to have everyone around him on a leash to feel sane and that includes Etho. They're both big guys, I know they'd fight for dominance and any of them could win, either way, it would be hot as *beep*.

The second person is of course, Docm77. The fics I've read with top Doc and bottom Etho have been life changing. They converted me, especially the stormverse ones. Anyways, Doc is an old friend of Etho, knows him well and he's like the exact opposite of Etho. Etho is very pg even if he's a freak and Doc isn't pg and is a freak. Etho is always making amazing contraptions within the bounds of the game while Doc tries to push past those and succeeds. Etho is confident and has a strong sense of self and Doc appreciates that consistency in his "friend" but he also would like to breed him very much.

Cursed Stormverse Facts

I'm semi coldblooded after eating the Storm-Storm Fruit. My body takes on the temperature of the air around me, meaning that I dont get hot or cold.

Unlike traditionally cold blooded creatures, however, I am able to function at all these temperatures.

However, when it's cold I still bundle up because Chopper freaks out once my body temperature goes into the negatives.

Any family headcanons for the gang members who's families we weren't told about??

Guess who was doing headcanons again at 4am??? ME!!! I’m sorry also with the much wanted help of @jjadegreen because she’s officially my headcanon pal and she always helps me a lot with this shit :)

I’m literally posting these at 5:45 am but they sounded good in my sleep-deprived head and they looked good on paper from my sleep-deprived vision so I’m just gonna post this now and worry about it tomorrow!

I use these headcanons regardless of whether its an Everyone Live’s situation or not so there are clashes between fics like the Storm and The Unknown (I usually just use most of these headcanons regardless of what I’m writing and what universe and whatever)

I know I say this whenever I post ANY fucking headcanons, but I’m sorry.

Abbacchio

-There’s not much to say about his parents. They were pretty average. All they wanted was for him to be successful; get a nice job, find someone to love. They weren’t too close with him, but they were there.

-He did, however, have an older sister by the name of Pantera Abbacchio

-And she was even more goth than he was.

-When lil Leone was just starting out in high school, she already was in her last year and by then she was already a fully-ascended goth goddess

-They weren’t that close (they had a 4 year difference) and she always thought he was too enthusiastic about everything. They never really connected

-BUT—

-He got really curious and thought she was really cool so he used to steal her clothes and makeup all the time and all her friends made fun of her for it, but she secretly thought it was adorable

-She was cold at first, but soon started sharing everything with him (she lent him all her fishnet clothes and purple dresses and crazy silver jewelry and even let him use her lipstick sometimes

-His parents thought it was a bit...unconventional at first but they wanted him to be happy so they supported it

-One day after school he got dragged into an alleyway (bb Abba was puny I don’t make the rules) and just got the absolute shit beaten out of him. She had poetry club after school so as she was walking to the parking lot she found him there bawling his eyes out because he got blood all over her favourite shirt

-She took him shopping that day (she put concealer on him in the mall parking lot to hide the bruises from their parents)

-They also got ice cream

-She didn’t approve of him becoming a cop (she don’t like cops one bit) but when he let his partner die and learned that he took bribes, she was so fucking angry. She never wanted to talk to him again

-His parents tried to stay connected, but the family seemed too fragmented and everyone was still angry at him

-Years later, she decided that maybe she should talk to him, to try and reconnect

-When Giorno picked up the phone instead and explained everything to her, she realized she was too late

-She was a sobbing, screaming mess and she felt like a terrible sister

-She felt like if she had called sooner, he wouldn’t have gotten wrapped up in the mafia

-Giorno invited her to the funeral, and they properly met there

-It was an open-casket, and in his will he requested that he wore the first dress that his sister bought him. (It had to be tailored a bit, but it fit)

-She planted purple lilies by his grave, and although she hasn’t talked to the gang since the funeral, the flowers are always watered.

Fugo

-His parents were assholes. Rich assholes.

-They gave him everything he wanted in exchange that he keep up their reputation, but even now, he still felt like he never did that right

-He had a little brother, Budino Fugo

-His brother was the last thing on his mind when he went to University, Panna would almost call himself an only child

-They weren’t close at all. They were always separated because of Fugo’s unpredictable anger and their house was so big that the only time they would see each other were during family greeting card photoshoots and for the painting of the giant portrait that sat in their foyer

-They got it re-painted once they kicked him out

-Budino was only three when Fugo was disowned, so by the time he’s older, his mysterious older brother is nothing but a distant memory, only someone he would pose with for photos and large gatherings

-Any photos of Panna are gone by the time he’s five, as are any traces of him existing. Anytime he would ask about the blond that disappeared out of their lives, he was always denied any answer

-He learned not to answer any questions

-Unbeknownst to him, he ended up looking exactly like his brother. If you were to place two photos of them side-by-side at the same age, you would barely be able to tell them apart

-He grew up without ever really knowing that his brother existed and he always thought of himself as an only child

-He grew up to be the perfect child. Charming, happy, calm, intelligent. He became the Pannacotta Fugo that his parents always wanted

-Everyone loved him, and although he didn’t go University that young, his charm and good reputation made up for it

-Budino would like to say that he lived a good life, but sometimes he wakes up and wonders who the blond look-alike is that always seems to pop up in his dreams. He wonders why he feels like something is missing, like there’s something that everyone isn’t telling him. He wonders who was holding him during photoshoots and who his parents used to yell at in the fragments of his memories

-But he shrugs it off. He has everything he could ever need, so why should he worry about that?

Mista

-Mista’s parents weren’t poor, but they weren’t exactly rich either. Living in a big family, they had to learn how to spread out their spending, and sometimes they didn’t exactly have enough to eat every night

-Both of his parents worked endlessly long hours and barely made it back by dinnertime, but sometimes they did, and every night when they didn’t, they still had food on the table

-Mista never hated his parents, but they were pretty dependent on him. They needed him to look after his sisters while they were working, and although he found it irritating, he never resented them for it

-The only time Mista can confidently say the number four without wincing is when he’s talking about his sisters

-Four of them, to be exact

-Mela was the youngest, around six or seven the last time Mista heard from her. She was pretty fragile most of the time and had to stay home from school a lot because of how weak her immune system was

-Mista missed a lot of school taking care of her, but she was always fun to be around and he managed to graduate with pretty good grades by the end of it

-He soon found out that she shared the same name as Narancia’s mother. He knew the two had more in common than they thought

-Stella was around nine the last time Mista saw her. She was the most professional and serious person he had ever met. She got incredible grades in school and her teachers often said that she was destined to be something like a doctor or a famous scientist

-Although she wasn’t exactly a jokester like her brother, he always managed to get her to crack a smile once in a while

-Gioia was thirteen, and she fit her name perfectly; she was the most joyous person Mista had ever met. Almost the exact opposite of Stella (she would always make fun of her for being such a prude)

-She loved cooking and would always help Mista out with taking care of Mela, but she loved animals even more than food

-They couldn’t afford a pet, but she always befriended the neighbourhood cats and Mista was even saving up to buy her a cat or snake (she loved snakes)

-Sera was fifteen, and somehow even quieter than Stella. She always seemed very reserved and closed off from the rest of the world, even Mista couldn’t get her to laugh

-She had a soft spot for Gioia, Mista noticed that the two of them would sneak out of the house at night and he wondered if she was a different person away from the rest of them

-Mista sees Sera and Giorno as almost one in the same, which is why he doesn’t exactly know how to react when he sees Gio in such a state in Stormverse

-After he went to jail, no one went to visit him. His parents were furious that he could murder a man, and he never saw his sisters again

-Stella was so angry and disappointed the last time he saw them all in that holding cell, she refused to even look at him. Gioia was bawling her eyes out and Sera gave him the hardest stare he had ever seen. Mela asked when he was coming home.

-He never did.

-When Bruno bailed him out of jail, he managed to give both of his parents a pretty large raise and promotion in their jobs

-They were always there for dinner after that, always there for them, and that’s all Mista ever really wanted for his family in the end.

Giorno

I’m sorry, bros. I have no headcanons for him. Only child, shitty family. All he really had was Gold Experience’s presence and a pack of cards.

Trish

-Donatella Una was a single mother, and her and Trish were very close because of it

-Her mother was beautiful and taught her everything she knows about the fashion world

-She had the most beautiful singing voice and always dreamed of being in the music industry -When Trish voiced interest in trying out for a few local parts, she was overjoyed and they instantly bonded over it. Trish claims later when her music career kicks off that her mother was her biggest inspiration

-Donatella was the absolute QUEEN of Girl’s Nights™—she would always go all out on snacks, makeovers, shitty romcoms...you name it and she probably spent way too much money on it

-They would do each other’s nails all the time and her mother taught her how to do her hair every morning

-She was in the middle of teaching Trish how to do winged eyeliner when she had to go to the hospital. She died before she could finish teaching her

-She never resented her father (well, before she met him, that is), even her mother knew that there was no way he could have known she was pregnant, but she always liked to think that he would have taken care of them if he did

-That opinion changed very quickly

-Always had that mineral water on hand—Ms. Una said hydrate or diedrate

-She couldn’t cook for the life of her so they got takeout A LOT and Trish has been to a fair share of fancy restaurants

-Her and her mom were going to go out together after school and get pedicures before the school got a call that she had been rushed to the hospital

Narancia

-He was an only child and his mother was always very kind to him

-She was the kind of mom who would cut your sandwich into a different shape every morning and made sure you got enough water and sunscreen and stuff

-Before she got her eye infection, the two of them would always be spending time together. His father was nice enough to the both of them and was never cruel while she was alive, but the moment she was admitted to the hospital, something inside him kind of unclicked and he never bounced back from it

-Although his father would come with him for hospital visits, he mostly stood to the side and spoke with the doctors while Nara would sit with his mama

-The hospital had all this stuff for sick patients like therapy animals and music and a really beautiful garden so Narancia would bring his mom outside all the time to sit under the apple trees

-And YES, he DID grow an apple tree in the backyard in Stormverse thanks to Giorno

Bruno

-It was just him and his dad after his mom left

-Bruno was a lot like Paolo in the way that the two of them were super stoic and rarely showed weakness around each other

-They were still very close

-They would go fishing together!!! Bruno was taught about boats and fishing and pretty much everything about the trade

-When Paolo would go out for the day, he would hang around the dock in the summertime waiting for him to come back

-All the fishermen’s kids would hang around there too whenever there wasn’t school, so Bruno used to play with them all the time

-He got his first point as “cool mom friend” when he saved a tourist’s kid from drowning when they fell off the dock when he was around nine or ten

-The tourists gave Paolo an extra big tip that day :)

-He absolutely got his savior complex when his parents divorced and he chose to stay with his dad

-Pretty much nothing scared baby Bruno but thunderstorms hit different

-His father was always really careful about going out on really cloudy days, but once in a while a storm would hit and he would be forced to dock somewhere else until it passed through

-Bruno would sit there for hours not knowing if he was okay or not

-Bruno Bucciarati does not cry, but on those nights he did.

-Because he couldn’t lose his dad, too.

-He would always come back, of course, and he would always ask why Bruno’s eyes and nose were so red

- “Just Summer allergies, papà. Don’t worry about it.”

-He loves the rain, but thunder still kind of freaks him out 

-After his father got attacked, he dropped out of school to work for Passione. When he was well enough to go home, his dad finally figured it out and they had a huge fight about it

-Bruno slept half-awake by the front door with a pocket knife in his hand and he would board up all the windows

-The longer he worked for Passione the more him and his father drifted apart. Bruno was always paranoid after that, but he could never tell him why and it caused a huge rift between them

-His mother didn’t come to Paolo’s funeral

-He moved out almost immediately after the funeral and Polpo got him a place to live after he heard what happened

-He doesn’t often visit his father’s grave, but he constantly thinks about him with every decision he makes

-He always wanted to retire someone close to the sea.

no seriously I was thinking bout witchy shit and obviously not all magic users are witches. it's probably a pretty even divide? witches of the lady variety are just most well-known and have the most comprehensive education; this is only because, in olden times, women's schooling wasn't much of a thing and burning magic users at the stake was. most men's schools had secret wizard/warlock groups and classes within, but women's schools were so far and few between that local witches would put together schools that reversed that: they catered primarily to magic users, but offered regular classes for all women. before the fifteenth or sixteenth century, there were more well-known male users, just called alchemists instead of wizards/warlocks/sorcerors/etc. some speculate that Jesus was a Kabbalistic wizard. anyway the catch-all term for anyone who can use magic is magic user, spellcaster (often shortened to caster), magician, that sort of thing. since the late 80s, more and more schools have opened their doors to trans casters. of course, a lot of them still hang in the balance because they can't go to the school for people of their designated sex and they can't go to the school matching their gender, either because of their sex or because there are no such schools. there have been coed magical schools since the 60s, but they're far and few between. magic is a very traditional study and its practitioners often long-lived. magic users, on the whole, do not like change. I was thinking of trans caster having to insist on their terms. "So you're a wizard?" "No, I'm a witch." "Okay, you're a caster." "No, a witch." or "You're a witch, aren't you?" "I'm a spellcaster, actually." "But you're a witch, I mean..." in some cities (eg San Francisco, New York, New Orleans, London, Paris, Berlin, etc.), queer-specific magical schools have started cropping up. some deans have converted older schools to coed ones. there are a few nonbinary-specific covens, but they're small. magical schools tend to be multicultural. magic is straightforward and the same across the board, but people can channel it in different ways as dictated by their culture. one typically practices their culture's traditional form of magic and will take a deity from their mythology as their patron. covens are typically groups of casters within the same cultural frame of reference. you'll rarely find a Greek practitioner and a Celtic practitioner living in a community outside of school. most european magical schools embrace white magic. some schools lean more grey, teaching controversial methods. there are probably a few black magic schools out there, moreso in the states than anywhere else.

so, after some debates I'm gonna have two different versions of my One Piece Self Insert. One is the Force-Force user like usual. 

The other is going to be “The Storm Singer”, a version that gets the “Are-Are No Mi” or “Storm Storm Fruit” after Skypea. And that one, so far, is fun. The different versions of the insert will be called “Forceverse” and “Stormverse”.
