Hello, hello, thank you for the ask, Satsuki, @storiesofaot, and @quillsandblades. There's my fics with actual meaning, symbolism, motifs, attempts at the usage of literary elements... and then there's "Where's Erwin?" My pointless, beautiful child.

Gelgar reels the veterans into a little drinking game, and Erwin's exhausted, so he decides to join in on the fun. Soon after seeing the crumbling state of him, though, his friends send him off to bed, only to find out later that night that he never made it back to his room.

Snippet, in which Nanaba, Levi, and Hange just banter as they search:

“All this trouble just to get his grown ass to go to bed.”

Nanaba bumped Levi into the stone wall with her hip. “Don’t act like you aren’t the same.”

“Don’t act like you aren’t the same,” Hange said, grinning. “Remember when Mike had to carry you off to bed because you were so tired you wouldn’t go yourself?”

Nanaba flushed, storming ahead of the two. “Yeah, Erwin’s room is right around the corner.”

Hange threw back their head and laughed, flouncing after her. The three of them turned the knob and peeped inside, only to be met with disappointment. The bed was made as freshly as though it were morning, the candles long burnt out, the curtains billowing in the chilly night breeze. Papers were strewn all over his desk, detailing reports and notices to the higher ups, but nothing seemed to have changed from the morning earlier. In fact, it seemed as if Erwin had not been back to his bedroom at all. 

Levi nudged past with a frown, surveying the empty bedroom. “Seriously,” he grumbled. “He’s probably just constipated again, trying to take a long shit in the toilet. The hell are we going to do if we find him like that?” 

Hange grinned, despite the dreariness of the situation. “Oh, well, the tea helps with stomach problems, too, you know.” 

Levi grunted in response, making his way to the open window as Nanaba picked at the papers on Erwin’s desk, hugging her arms around her body to protect from the chill. “What if someone took him?” Nanaba murmured aloud. 

Levi looked back questioningly, but Hange understood by now their friend’s tendency to worry and, shooting Levi a look of warning, squeezed Nanaba’s arm. “It would take a lot to take on someone of his strength, Nanaba. Levi’s probably right, maybe Erwin will be back soon.” 

“Of his strength and size.” Levi leaned his hips against the windowsill, gazing up at the sky. “He would be hard to kidnap.”

Nanaba cracked a smile. “Anyone would give you a run for your money when it comes to size, Levi.” 

He shot her a glare and Hange snorted out a laugh...

It's literally just that for a while, because I think we could use more slice-of-life AOT veterans fics that aren't ship-based. I love reading platonic goofball shit. Watching the inevitable, collective loss of brain cells when a group of friends gets together. So, you know, why not write it for other people like that?

Heyyy! Sooo, "Lucky" by Jason Mraz is one of my favourite songs, that's why I was curious about that WIP of yours called "Lucky" hehe 😁

Hi!! So this fic is actually a three chapter work and two of the chapters are already uploaded on ao3.

It's levihan, canon divergent, and takes place during the No Regrets era.

Starts with Levi and Hange meeting in the underground when they're just kids. The title comes from there, cuz Hange gifts him a clover with four leaves and tells him she's lucky because she met him 🍀

And then years later their paths cross when Levi's tasked with a mission to steal something from Erwin Smith of the scouts. What he didn't expect was to meet a certain four eyes once again. Does she remember him? Would she be a hindrance in his mission?

He finds out soon enough.

Freed from memories of the Death Note, Light teams up with L to investigate Yotsuba. Cue strange antics, unexpected twists and an increasingly strained Light who's just desperate for vindication… 2. Never Enough (Attack on Titan) Levi had worked alongside Hange for a number of years. Her overbearing curiosity had not always complimented his more reserved demeanour. Over time, a couple of heated misunderstandings had led them to a point of mutual respect. From here, a close friendship had developed. Yet, in all those years he had never paid particular attention to her body. He had never imagined kissing her lips. Sure, he had given her a passing glance here or there - he was a guy, after all, and not some pious Wallist - but nothing so deliberate as fantasising over her in gratuitous detail.

Now things were different. Over the past few days Levi had struggled to suppress such distracting thoughts, not helped by Hange’s constant presence.

3. What It Would Really Be Like To Date L (Death Note) Many of us have daydreamed about a romantic encounter with the strangely loveable L… but would the reality match the fantasy? Who would be prepared to tolerate secret phone calls, frequent absences and the nagging suspicion that you're under surveillance…? 4. Bad Habit (Attack on Titan) This felt different to the last time they had been together… That had been a quick, messy, sweaty affair; half-dressed and leaning against a block of straw. Hange remembered the clumsy, desperate kisses; her hair still wet from the rain; her cold lips against Levi’s neck. There had been no time for self-consciousness, for they had only stolen a few precious moments together.

But this time, things were different. To begin with, Hange hadn’t been expecting company that night. (One Shot Sequel to Never Enough and part of a collab with @youre-ackermine). 5. One More Sun Attack on Titan: canon universe. This was their last night on the ship to Odiha, only they didn't know it then. Inspired by an incredible piece by @theysangastheyslew

🧃 Share some personal lore you never posted about before.

"Personal lore?" That definition is shaky, but well... here's lore.

For the sake of stupidity, I play a game every Valentine's day in which I collect as many fake dates as I can, strangers and friends alike. However, one friend of mine consistently rejects me, so I put in effort every year to try to "woo" her. E.g. I once wrote her half of a Shakespearean sonnet asking her out. Only half, though, so it's no surprise she didn't agree, lol. In fact, to this day, she's still yet to.

🍓 How did you get into writing fanfiction?

Original stories were my starting point. After making a Tumblr account so I could share my thoughts about Blitzstone, a pairing from Magnus Chase, I realised just how small of a fandom I was in. Wanting to add to it, I decided to expand my writing from just original stories to fanfiction, too. Thus, "Journey to the Middle Ages" was born, my first fanfic ever.

Ooh "Letters across the sea" sounds intriguing, maybe a little wistful? It definitely got me curious hehe! 📝🌊

That's one I'm looking forward to myself. I've actually come up with a title, I was just in a hurry and used the placeholder for the game.

It's Levihan, childhood friends separated by the ocean when Hange moves to Marley with her family, and what comes after. Wistful is the vibe I'm going for! The sea stretching out between them, them waiting eagerly for letters, just the other's words, a past imprint on a paper, to make them smile.

He stays on the pier, searching among the people swarmed on the deck. There she is, small and thin and rosy cheeked. Hange sees him and climbs on the rail, hangs her torso over it and waves him goodbye excitedly. “Until we meet again!”

Levi waves back.

“So long, Hange.”

Anyway, hello, hola, bienvenido! More than all right. Three out of the five asks I got were about "Where's Erwin?" lol, so I welcome the opportunity to blabber about other ones and, as always, I love that people take an interest.

Ahh, very clever, very clever. I like it. But yeah, M.I.A. is my goldmine of angst, featuring a lot of my ideas about post-war Levi. I like imagining that, due to the extreme trauma he's experienced all throughout his life, his memory works a little strangely.

He becomes very purposeless and depressed after the war (he's only ever lived for others, after all). As a mechanism of defense against his own passive suicide, his mind begins to make up memories, and omit other ones, in order to give him new purposes, trying to keep him alive. The war may have ended around him, but Levi's still waging a battle against himself, and that's what this is about.

As for who's missing... several people, actually. :) depends on how you look.

No snippets, because this one is Serious Business, and therefore I guard it more privately, but I love that you asked! Hope your day is good, too, and that you wake up tomorrow feeling well-slept. 🥐🥖

I hope you don’t mind me asking, but I'm curious about what inspired you to write "Circles Around The Sun." 😊 Was there something specific that sparked the idea for the plot, or was it more of a chain of thoughts that led to it? Hey, Tori, and don't worry, it's always a pleasure. Anyway, I don't know if you can call it all inspiration, haha. There's more like a personal reason, which I don't mind posting, but I apologise if it isn't what you were looking for.

It was primarily sunflowers. Sunflowers have always been my favourites. There's meaning I place behind them that, when I met someone who openly placed their own similar significance behind them and loved them just as much as I did, I began to doubt. I got this persistent idea that I didn't actually like sunflowers, and I was just faking or exaggerating my affinity because I wanted to be "special," lol. That thought process made me nervous to "interact" with sunflowers for a few months until one day, I must have said, "Okay, fuck that."

Next thing I knew, I started planning a fanfiction with sunflowers as the biggest motif, with my own meaning behind it, to internally reclaim the fact that sunflowers belong to no one and that nobody actually cares what I'm doing, in the most profoundly freeing way ever. It was a reminder that I was neither uniquely horrible nor good in my liking for sunflowers; I was just some guy who liked sunflowers and related them to some deep aspect of life, at the same time someone else happened to be, lol. I never meant to publish the story, either, but I figured that choosing to face the anxiety of publicly writing sunflowers, especially pairing them with Levi and Hange, would be beneficial to me, and well, it was. It was exactly what I was aiming for, haha. I'm very, very happy with that.

In short, CATS, lol, was just born from my own anxiety. The plot itself is a direct product of that story. It was born from my (personal) interpretation of sunflowers, which I can share if you like, but I wonder a little if it will make the ending obvious. It's your choice. The way I've written them, though, (with their position as a motif in mind, assuming I've written it well enough), I designed the plot in such a way that you could probably try to interpret what they mean, and how I see them vaguely by association, as they are representative of one of the "themes" of the story.

Well, I... hope that answers the question? Haha. Sorry if this was a little uncomfortable to read. I admit, I was very honest in it, but I guess writing that story is what brought me to be so in the first place.
