Swiss rock legend Marc Storace’s own band has released the highly anticipated new studio album, “Crossfire”

The Maltese born-Swiss musician started his exceptional musical career in 1970, with the Swiss cult progressive band TEA, with whom he released 5 LP's. He gained attention for his frontmanship and his high-pitched raunchy vocal tone.

In 1979, Marc became the voice of Krokus, the most successful Hard Rock Band from Switzerland. After their first album with Marc, “Metal Rendez-Vous”, Krokus played several world tours, sold over 15 million records and won many gold and platinum awards.

Fast forward to 2021, Marc started working on his solo career as Storace and, at the end of 2021, he released his first solo album “Live And Let Live”. Marc started his first tour in Switzerland accompanied by the studio band in the middle of the difficult pandemic times.

Marc's new album “Crossfire” is a monster piece of Hard Rock. The songwriting is shared between Marc Storace, guitar player Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper band) and drummer Pat Aeby (Krokus, Gotus).

Speaking about the album, Marc says, “Tommy Henriksen, in spite of his tight touring-schedule with Alice Cooper, The Hollywood Vampires and his work with his Crossbone Skully, actually “made time” to produce my Crossfire album. That’s what I call a good friend. Creating the songs with T felt like magic. And he even got the incredible Olle Romo, Mutt Lange’s very own engineer, to mix the album. Unbelievable! It was like a match made in heaven.”

Last month, the Swiss rock legend Marc Storace’s own band reissued their first album “Live And Let Live”, which recorded during lockdown. The new special edition includes a bonus live album

Talking about the release, Marc says, “Krokus had stopped to exist because of Covid and no one really knew what the outcome of the pandemic would be, so not wasting time I started working on a solo album. 'Live And Let Live' is rich in melodic vocals, colourful riffs, great guitar solos, many hooks and a solid driving rhythm section.

“During the past three intensive years, playing throughout Switzerland, we recorded many gigs and the live album features the best of the crop, highlighting songs we recorded during hot performances in Zürich’s Hallenstadion as special guests of KISS, and The Scorpions.

“Included on the setlist are songs from Krokus which we never play, like 'Midnite Maniac' and 'To The Top', also a beefed up version of 'Telephone Man' from my late seventies London band Eazy Money”.

Help!For Japan 2012. I've written several times on Instagram and Facebook, but I only discovered FAIR WARNING in January this year.

Why now? You might ask.

The reason for this was that music was not particularly important in my life.

････Until I heard FAIR WARNING.

So I also learnt this year that Tommy Heart organised a charity for Japan and released this song with other artists just after the Great East Japan Earthquake 13 years ago.

Osaka, where I live, was not affected at this time.

But I have experienced a fire once.

At that time I was helped by my neighbours and was very moved by the help I received from others.

Disasters are very frightening and not something I want to experience too often.

However, it is in these times that we can help each other, strengthen our bonds with others and feel grateful to them.

We Japanese were very happy to have been helped and encouraged by Tommy Heart and the other artists who participated.

It's long overdue, but I made this video to thank Tommy and all the wonderful artists who took part in this charity.
