Some rare Arik Roper stuff from around 2010, when he was the king of stoner graphic artists. Obviously heavily influenced by Roger Dean and Frank Frazetta, he brought a breath of fresh air and memorable graphics to the table. I always wanted this mug set from Stumptown, but it seemed unreasonably expensive to import it to Europe. Nowadays, it may be a very rare collector's item.

FUUDGE is a wicked Montreal based psycadalic stoner grunge band and they just released their first full length album. Here is the fresh design for the vinyl cover and backside. The story of this design is pretty wild. A few years ago I did a massive paper installation and I used old books I found in the garbage. In one of the pages I found this art piece print, I drew on it and turned it to my own. Years later David from Fuudge came to me with clear idea of how the album should look. He then mentioned the art piece he saw in an ancient photo gallery of mine. We then started to work and David stared a search to find the original book and the original publication company and the original artist who did the artwork back in the 70's... Long story short, he found everything and not only we nailed a great piece but the original artist loved it and was very happy with the collaboration we did. . .we wish them great success!
