Am I the asshole for resurrecting my best friend not wife even though she came back as a ghost?

I (28M) watched my wife (23f) and best friend (28m) die. A strange creature offered me the chance to resurrect one of them. I chose to resurrect my best friend because we grew up together and had a business together. We live together for several years and then my wife comes back as a ghost. When she’s back she starts intentionally driving away costumers. My best friend says that I’m the asshole and she has the right to be angry at me. I pointed out that I died he would have done the same but he says he would have resurrected his wife. AITA?

look i am all for the ironic reapropiation of soyjaks as this post-ironic abstract art thing where you remove its original antisemitic conspiracy theory meaning and make soyjaks of things like trees cats etc but i think it needs to be acknowledged that a lot of the soyjak caricatures are based on real breathing people that are 9/10 innocent people who just didn't fit into mainstream beauty standards. i was browsing those soyjak forums and found out how one of the most constantly-used transmisogynistic caricatures is based on a real trans woman that posted a picture on reddit. it really made me drop my idgaf praxis and be worried about some of the people depicted there.
