    being  the  daughter  of  the  fairest  had  its  perks;  both  good  and  bad.    and  times  like  these,  there  were  definitely  horrible  men  that  wouldn’t  hesitate  to  try  and  take  advantage  of  her.   especially  crossing  past  a  place  like  this.  –––   “  let  go  of  me.  ”  putting  up  with  a  fight  wasn’t  a  problem  for  her,  but  with  the  amount  of  people  in  this  place,  she  was  outnumbered.

"I think your lip is bleeding," He comments absently, reaching over and swiping his thumb across her lower lip before he smirks and cleans his thumb off with his mouth.

it’s the way he says it that makes her think nothing will come of the comment. don’t trust a man who is lean and hungry; he thinks too much. her father’s voice is clear in her ears. she remembers the words like he’s there with her in this moment, in the same way he’s said it every day of her life. nineteen years old and he puts fear in her heart like no other, even when he’s hundreds of miles away, at the top of some mountain, tormenting new souls. 

so when archer says your lip is bleeding, the blonde barely registers it until he puts his hand on her. she wants to react, the gut instinct is visceral. she wants to take his head off for the motion, regardless of how gentle or kind. she watches him, as he licks her blood from his thumb, and part of her things about how she’d look with his blood in her mouth. eyes flash, the craving strong but her will overpowers and the blonde resigns herself to the idea of a rare steak as she leans away. 

pulling herself from the dark thoughts, her middle finger drags across her lip. there’s blood there and a faint smile tugs at the corner of her lip for just a moment. part of her wants to know if she looks like DIVINE ABSOLUTION, as she licks the blood from her finger, not breaking eye contact with the brazen boy before her, but more of her wants to be recognized for the demon she is. 

the only human thing about her is the blood that drips from her lip. 

there’s no hesitation as the blonde says, ❛ next time you put your hands on me, be prepared to fight for your life. ❜

❛       it   hardly  matters   if  the   school   chose  your  electives  or  not  ,  MR.  RIDER ,  either  way  you  are  in  my  class   &   therefore  expected  to  participate .    now ,  i  am  willing  to  offer  you  methods  of   extra  credit   to  bring  your  grade   back  up ,  IF  YOU  STOP  BEING  RUDE ,   &   i  suggest  you  take  that  offer .   unless  you’d  like  the  embarrassment  of  being  the   only  student  in  your  grade   to  fail  music  class  this  year ,  that  is .     ❜

Heyo guys! Wow, I really can’t believe I’m making this post so soon after the blog jump! Or at all, really. I want to thank each and every one of you who stuck around. Tumblr has become my safe space in this hectic world, and it’s because of all of you amazing people. I’lll keep all the really mushy stuff under a cut, but once again I’d like to thank you all.

Vi. I doubt any words I have would do you justice, but I have to try. Because the truth is you’re my sister, my parabatai, and all the best parts of me. You’ve been there through the tears and through the laughs. You’ve offered unconditional love and support whenever I’ve needed it, and you’re always the first one to notice when I’m not feeling great. Even on my worst days, the days where even the idea of talking to anyone makes my skin crawl, you’re an exception to the rule. It’s insane to think we’ve known each other for less than two years, because even thinking about going through a day without you seems impossible.
