Sure all those wholesome overbearing dad Dio AUs are fun but what I really want is an unwholesome stepdad Pucci AU. He wants to be a good parent to Dio's kids so bad because that's the proper thing to do and surely there must be something to love about his beloved Dio's offspring. But by God he hates them. He tries, or so he tells himself, but he hates them all so much. Except Giorno, of course. Giorno is a delight. Polite, intelligent, respectful Giorno, his favorite stepson. His dear Giorno who keeps up appearances only because it's the proper thing to do, and every night writes in his diary about how much he hates everyone in this godforsaken house in general and Pucci in particular.

Ireneverse Jotaro who I've decided to dub Kyutaro. (As a callback to the time he tricked Enya by signing his name as Qtaro)

This version of him never experienced the trauma in Egypt so he's pretty chill by now. Although, he doesn't have Star Platinum. Would the Ireneverse characters get the same stands as their original selves?

My take on Ireneverse is that DIO never came back, he died with Jonathan as had been believed. So, no vampire to kill all of Kyutaro's friends. Friends that he'll be making in alternate ways! I like to think he met Kakyoin during college, maybe they were roommates? And Polnareff, I'm not sure, but they do meet and become friends. Avdol does meet when his grandpa brings him by during a visit. Iggy is of course his mother's dog, Joseph gifts him to her after Kyutaro goes off to college.

Actually, I just realized they'd also be alternate since they died and all.

Irene, he's a much better father towards her since he doesn't have DIO's bullshit to worry about. He's actually present in her life lol. Although I think he and his wife are still divorced, it is on good terms.

Finally gathered the strength to finish the Stone Ocean anime some days ago and drew this Ermes afterward.

I knew how it was going to end but I still felt so empty after it. God the end credits hit HARD.

well and truly if u as a jojo fan ever err on the side of oh hirohiko araki is progressive and hes for gay rights and womens rights and trans rights. look im immensely interested in stone ocean which could trick you into thinking i agree. but holy fucking shit this author has the most GARDEN VARIETY antiblackness and homophobia and misogyny written in every inch of his stories. every Actual lgbt character in jojo is dead or an especially cruel villain or both. cant shade a person of colour with dark skin when hes the one doing the colouring (not shueisha's digital colours) to save his life. & now he cant think of a single way to make readers sympathize with a woman aside from making her suffer deeply. my friend i cant tell you what to do but i can remind u this fifty something year old man is not going to fight for your rights‼️

i love jojo stone ocean i love how jolyne is so fucking angry over the injustices she faces and i love how it's not portrayed as a feature that corrupts her but instead one that empowers her i love how the reader roots for her cause and she comes off as the good guy while beating her enemies to smithereens i love how she stands on her own in all her fights and puts her own self on the line for the sake of her friends and how that very same kindness and care in her heart was the exact cause of her own downfall i love how despite her anger she refuses to kill those who in her opinion don't deserve it and bottles up all that rage to unleash it against pucci in the very end i love how she bears a grudge against alligators and envies snails and what that says about her as a person i love that she's tough but so full of humanity and glee and has a burning passion for life and staying alive and living against every odd that is put in her way i love the growth she goes through and how much she trusts her friends when she needs them and how it doesn't retract anything from her character and only makes it that much more full and humane i love her silly-string stand

It’s quiet. There’s no birds, no sounds of the distant cars or the planes or the noisy people that she’s accustomed to. There’s the tide kissing up against the shore, but it doesn’t brush anything onto land with each movement that it rises, which is equally just as unusual. The best way to describe where she finds herself is ‘dreamlike’. It looks like the middle of the day. It’s clear outside.

Probably not shocking that the embodiment of her father’s mind represents the ocean. Of course it would.
