LA PROJECTION UN MOYEN D'EXPRESSION

De l'anglais Projection mapping, video mapping ou spatial augmented reality. Le mapping également appelé en français projection architecturale, fresque lumineuse ou fresque vidéo, est une opération qui consiste à appliquer une image de remplissage sur la représentation filaire. Le mapping est aussi une technique qui consiste à projeter à grande échelle des éléments visuels tel que les images, les vidéos, les jeux de lumière, les rayons laser.

Commencer au XVIe siècle jusqu’à la fin du XIXe siècle. Cette période est une période de développements des trois techniques sur lesquelles repose le mapping: l’anamorphose, la projection et l’animation des images. Le XIXe siècle et XXe siècle impliquent aussi d’importantes évolutions dans le domaine de l’éclairage électrique qui permettra d’illuminer les espaces extérieurs, et l’invention de l’ampoule, qui remplacera peu à peu les autres sources lumineuses dans les appareils de projection. C'est au XXe siècle que le premier enregistrement connu de projections sur des objets 3D apparaît avec la production du Haunted Mansion, réalisé par Disneyland, qui est une attraction à la fois humoristique et divertissante, auquel ils ont utilisé de fausses têtes désincarnées comme objets pour projeter sur eux en 16 mm afin de leur donner un aspect réel par des illusions d’optiques.

L'utilisation des logiciels spécifiques permettent aux volumes d'être dessinés et reproduits, afin d'obtenir des projections vidéo à grande échelle qui adhèrent le plus près possible aux endroits choisis.

Le mapping qui était utilisé pour sublimer les performances artistiques dans les concerts et le théâtre, crée une atmosphère pour le lancement d'un produit animer, des évènements d'entreprise, des festivals.

Aujourd'hui le mapping est utilisé pour s'exprimer, pour transmettre des messages, de l'émotion tel que la joie transmise pendant plusieurs événements afin de clôturer les durs moments traversés pendant le COVID.

Le mapping est aussi utilisé pour dénoncer les fléaux tel que les crimes contre l'humanité,la population, l'injustice, des violences.

L'artiste Caillou Michaël Varlet et son équipeCie Enlight ont utilisé un mapping vidéo comme moyen d'expression afin de dénoncer certains maux contre l'humanité, la nature. Cet mapping vidéo architectural a été réalisé et projeté sur la façade ouest du bâtiment Pl de l'Université de Toulon le jeudi 28 Mars 2019.

Le mapping a soulevé des réflexions autour de la projection : la projection peut-elle vu comme moyen d'expression ?

De plus en plus r��pondu dans le monde sous diverses formes, le mapping ne s'arrête pas qu'à projeter des images ,des vidéos ,des jeux, le mapping ne s'arrête plus qu'à présenter les évènements, le mapping est à présent utiliser pour s'exprimer.

Aujourd'hui le mapping est un moyen d'expression dans le monde entier. Permettant l’expression des individus. Le mapping permet à chacun d’entrer en communion d’esprit avec d’autres individus, la nature et la monde, d’avoir l’impression de partager des moments, des sentiments et des émotions avec eux, de comprendre la nature,de la respectée et la protégée.
