THE DOT SHOW: STL Design Week! James Butler and Rebecca Sachtleben, both graphic design seniors, were selected to be part of a group show that kicked of St. Louis Design Week called The Dot Show: An Art Party With a Cause.  50 artists from the St. Louis area were selected to be a part of the event.  The event was held on September 22, 2014.

Artists were prompted to choose their favorite place in St. Louis that inspires them.  After choosing a spot, they were given an seven inch wooden dot, and were asked to complete the dot based on their chosen location.  This idea was inspired by STL's 250th anniversary, and all proceeds from the event were given to the Annual St. Louis AIGA Student Conference.

The event was a huge success, with all pieces being sold. It was a great start to STL'S Design Week!
