Heeseung

Your back pressed against the wall when Heeseung’s tongue entered your mouth, deepening the kiss. His lips moved hungrily against yours as his hands slipped inder your shirt. You immediately flinched, pushing his chest to pull away. Heeseung noticed that something was wrong and leaned back to look at your face. “Is something wrong? You’re not ready yet?” His eyes were searching yours to find a reason of your reaction. 

“I… can’t do it.” You looked away with guilt but Heeseung immediately lifted your chin up with his hand. 

“Hey… that’s okay. I understand.” His fingers caressed the skin of your cheek, eyes gently looked into yours as the fire in them began to go out.

“No, you don’t.” You shook off his hand, flinching your head. Suddenly the feeling of disgust to his touch overwhelmed you. 

���Y/n…” Heeseung pulled his hand away but stayed at the same place next to you. “Then explain to me.”

You heavily sighed and started staring at the opposite corner of the room, escaping his gaze. “It’s my ex boyfriend.” Heeseung stared at you with confuse. “He never asked me. He would slid his hands under my shirt, pressing me again the wall… and touch me. Even when I didn’t want to.” Heeseung’s eyes widened in shock at the same time as his jaw clenched from anger. He slowly placed his hand on your shoulder, making sure it wasn’t uncomfortable for you.

“I’m sorry for that…” His gentleness made you melt and you finally met his gaze. 

“It wasn’t you. You don’t need to be sorry.” Even when a slight smile spreaded on your face Heeseung still looked worried and confused. 

After a moment of silence he asked. “How long had it been… going?”

“For five months maybe.” Your words made his heart ache. “I couldn’t break up with him because he told me no one will ever love me. And I thought it was okay. At that moment.”

Heeseung made you look at him, making sure you’re listening. “It’s never okay. Look at me, I really love you. And I would never ever hurt you. Physically or mentally. Do you understand?” You nodded and he patted your head. Your hands wrapped around his waist, pulling him closer to you and he hugged you back, burying his nose in your hair. “If you ever feel like you want to go to the next level, tell me, okay?”

You nodded as your grip on him tightened. “I will never touch you without your permission. I promise.”

“Thank you.” Your whisper faded as you nuzzled in his chest more.

Jay

As you two got home and the door behind you were closed, Jay immediately reached for the buttons of your raincoat, hastily undoing them. You gripped one of his hands and looked at him with fear in your eyes. “Jay…”

He immediately stopped and lifted his gaze at you with worry. “What’s wrong, love?”

“What are you doing?..” your voice above a whisper. 

“I'm trying to help you take off your raincoat. It’s soaked after the rain. You should be warmed.” Your hands dropped weakly, eyes looked down. “Oh” you whispered under your breath.

“Is something wrong with that?” Jay asked, reaching his hand to cup your cheek. 

“I thought you wanted… tried to…” You couldn’t end your sentence.

“Tried to undress you? I did. But not in the way you thought. I suppose.” Jay made you look at him, his voice lowered. “Have someone… ever… tried to undress you in that way? Without your permission?”

Your lips trembled at the memory and you sobbed. Despite the fact that it was a long time ago, the reminder of that still hurt you. Seeing you like this made Jay’s heart ache and his hands pulled you closer to him in a reassuring embrace. His palm caressed your hair as he pressed his lips to your head. “Do you know that I would never hurt you, right?”

You nodded weakly, sobbing into his chest. “I know. I’m sorry.”

“Don’t.” His voice lowered. “Don’t blame yourself. Ever. It’s not your fault.”

His words dissolved into the night silence of your apartment, reflecting off the walls.

Jake

While cooking, you felt Jake’s hands on your waist and his lips on your neck. The touch has awakened a memory in you, a situation you would like to erase from your head forever. You flinched away, heavily breathing, when Jake took his hands off you and looked in your eyes in worry. “What’s wrong?” he asked in concern, keeping his hands in the air. 

“Sorry…” you sighed, putting a spatula on the countertop. “Just a bad memory popped out.” Jake crossed his hands, glancing at you with frowned eyebrows. “What memory?”

You took a deep breath again. “My friend… used me when we were at the party.” Jake’s eyes widened and he darkly mumbled “He’s not your friend. He doesn't deserve you to call him that.”

You awkwardly chuckled, trying to brush away a sudden memory of that night. “I know, I know.”

“Are you scared… of my touch? Does it make you uncomfortable? You never said that when we were hugging.” Jake asked with concern, digesting information.

“No, everything was okay back then. It’s just your lips on my neck…”

His eyes widened in guilt. With puppy eyes he looked down. “Oh I’m sorry. I won’t do that again, if you don’t want me to…”

“I want you to do that.” His face lit up with hope. “Just don't do it so suddenly, okay?” Jake chuckled awkwardly and shook his head like a dog. “Yeah, yeah, of course.”

His eyes glued to you and he took a step closer. “Can I kiss you?” You smiled, looking at him. “Yes, you can.” He stepped to you even closer and his lips gently met yours, his hands held your face. As Jake pulled away, he wrapped his hands around you, caressing your hair with his hand and immersing you in the warmth of his body.

Sunghoon

“Wait…” you quietly said, slightly pushing his chest, signaling him to pull away. Sunghoon immediately stopped, looking into your eyes, asking if something’s wrong without words. As you slowly got up on your elbows, he pulled away more and sat down on the edge of the bed, staring at you with worry. 

“I had a bad experience in… this.” you whispered after your heavy sigh. Sunghoon’s eyebrows frowned. “What do you mean?”

Taking a deep breath, you spoke “Once… my body…was used without my permission.”

Sunghoon’s mouth slightly opened in shock and concern. To get from him any words you added with a strangled voice “I was raped, Hoon.”

His eyelashes trembled at the realization of your words. He sighed heavily and mumbled “I didn’t know…” He looked down, finding words to say. “I’m sorry, if I made you uncomfortable… I didn’t mean to.”

You slightly smiled and placed your hand over his. “It’s okay. I know you didn’t.”

Awkward smile appeared on his face. “Do you want to… watch something maybe?” he asked, trying to fill the silence. 

“Actually, Hoon, I want this. I want you.” you whispered, looking into his eyes. He immediately looked at you with widened eyes. “But you said-”

“I know what I said. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want this. I want you. Just… can you be… slower?..” you didn’t let him end his sentence, gripping his wrist. His expression softened and he held your hands in his. “Of course. Tell me if something’s wrong okay?” Sunghoon asked, laying you down on the mattress again. As you nodded with a smile, he gently kissed your lips, showing that you’re safe with him.

TVLINE | When you first got called about this, did you feel like you were being punked, being asked to join a different Dick Wolf TV Universe?

No, not at all. I kept in close contact with a lot of old bosses and Dick Wolf personnel, and obviously [FBI: International showrunner] Matt Olmstead is a good friend, and he was the creator of P.D. So, when this came about and Matt was a part of it, I was not hugely surprised, but pleasantly surprised.

TVLINE | Is this a case where Matt calls you, or Dick calls you? how does that actually happen?

A little of column A, a little of column B. It was everybody kind of saying, “Hey, is this something that we can do? Does this feel good to everybody?” It was pretty cool.

TVLINE | Because Tracy Spiridakos, of course, crossed her P.D. character over to the original FBI for a hot second, so she exists in this world.

That is true! That is true. Who knows? You, hypothetically, could see a Spiridakos crossover onto FBI: International.

TVLINE | And then she sees Wes and does an epic double-take.

Yeah, “Do I know you? I feel like I recognize you…. Weird!”

TVLINE | Most simply said, how would you compare Wes to Jay Halstead?

They’re definitely very different, especially [compared to] Jay when I was exiting the show, and he was a very dark, very heavy character. With a lot of baggage. He had really been put through the wringer, was very brooding, and needed to go find himself. You can lose yourself when you’re close to Voight on Chicago P.D. Wes, meanwhile, is kind of a free bird. He’s doing his own thing. He’s a little unaffected, and just enjoying being himself. He’s good at his job and he likes it — though he’s a little unconventional.

TVLINE | Talk about the circumstances under which FBI: International viewers first meet Wes.

In the first episode, Wes’ partner gets shot, and the offenders flee to Budapest; they’re part of a robbery crew. While Wes’ partner is in the hospital, he is a man on fire, and takes it upon himself to head out to Budapest, link up with the Fly Team, and go after these guys.

TVLINE | I know it’s early goings, but have you seen Wes enjoy any particular dynamic with any of the Fly Team members?

Definitely. There’s a nice bit of history that Matt [Olmstead] carved out for Wes and Vo (Vinessa Vidotto). Vo was one of his trainees when he was a field training officer, and when she got out of the academy, and he was one of the first agents that she met. He was really hard on her back then, so they have an interesting dynamic — and she’s actually the one that ends up kind of pulling him in and saying, “Why don’t you come run with our team?”

TVLINE | Does Forrester’s name come up at all? Is anyone still smarting form his exit, like, “Be gone, new guy. You’re not Scott”?

Oh, oh, no, no, it’s not like that. There’s an interim boss who’s running the Fly Team, and that guy is, like, on the wine-and-cheese circuit just enjoying working in Europe, and they’re like, “We need a real leader. We need somebody who wants to do this job.”

TVLINE | Perhaps most critically, does Wes get to meet Tank?

Wes does get to meet Tank fairly soon. Tank takes a liking to Wes, they’re very cozy right away.

TVLINE | If you win the dog over, man, that’s half the job.

That’s half the battle.

TVLINE | What sort of things will we learn about Wes? Any family? Where he’s from?

Wes is an ex-LAPD officer. He did that for a while before becoming an FBI agent, so he likes to kind of do things his own way, he’s not always by the book. He doesn’t always follow procedure, which Smitty, obviously, gets pretty frustrated with, so they have to navigate that relationship. Also, Wes grew up in the foster system in L.A. and ended up adopted by a police officer, and that’s why Wes becomes a cop.

TVLINE | Any hints at his romantic past or status?

I think I can say this: Wes is currently in a relationship. You do meet Wes’ lady in the first episode, and that will be a cause for future drama. Let’s just leave it at that.

Hi, everyone!

I'm so excited to be able to start writing the first chapter and I hope that you look forward to it! Be sure to add this book to your reading list or reblog to know when I update!

MOST IMPORTANT NOTE ; ( to those not familiar with the academy series by C.L. Stone )

I know I'm gaining more readers, those who aren't familiar with the academy, so I'll do a short explanation of what you'll be seeing from the academy!

In short, the academy series is a reverse harem/polyamory series set in Charleston, South Carolina.

( so you'll be seeing multiple men date the same women in this book, so don't be shocked lmfaoo )

The academy ( that MFC won't be much involved in ) is basically a top secret organization that specializes in helping men, women, and children who are in an abusive relationship or homes and help them get out of that — most join the academy to help others in the same situations.

There are teams that work together and are basically a family in all but blood; and "family is a choice".

The men in teams are referred to as "dogs" and the female team members are referred to as "birds". 'Ghosts', whether birds or dogs, are children without much history to their names. They are priceless to the Academy.

The Academy's system works on a series of favor and financial debt. Everyone in the Academy starts out with financial debt. It's the value of the education an Academy student requires to become the best at what he does. If it was a private investigation training class or an eight-week boot camp, or you were starving and needed groceries to get through a human biology class, the Academy took care of it. Your debt can't just be paid off directly, it requires completing various Academy missions. Whatever it is, there is a price tag.

Favors though are the real core of the Academy. Favors are anything that doesn't have a price - usually family problems within the Academy that other members can't handle alone. New members owe ten favors immediately, with the maximum owed being thirty. The value of a task in favors varies depending on the task.

All Academy trials are comprised of the same parties: the whole team, plus five randomly selected members from other teams, presided over by a manager who has collected all the data. There is no age minimum for the randomly selected members, the only requirement is that they had to be past initiation and a full member of the Academy. The ultimate goal at a trial is to keep the family together as much as possible.

Each team has two leads. The first is the main contact for the Academy, they track the jobs the members go on, and let them know what jobs are available. The second is the family lead, who keeps track of all the team members, and makes sure that everything runs smoothly for them - ensuring they have food, bills are paid on time, and everyone that needs a job has one.

Most of this information is from the academy wiki site ( 'cause it's fuckin' complicated to explain it all )

but I want you all to be able to understand it enough to enjoy the story without being confused!

Most of the time, I'll explain through River and my other characters.

I hope this makes sense!

River won't be very involved in the academy, but there will be mentions and most of River's story revolves around, not only Jungkook and Moon, but River's brothers, friends, and family!

Happy Sunday Lovely Readers! 💛

We are halfway through Turn Back Time 🤯 This has most definitely been the most challenging of the three books to write, simply because I haven't had as much time to spend writing so I very much appreciate those of you who still like/comment/interact with these stories.

Chapter Fifteen is taking shape and is titled For Old Time's Sake...a little sneak peak below the cut if you're interested 😉

Their assessment of their suspect’s evasion techniques was cut short when Trudy appeared in the doorway of the garage. 

“The tap you put on the girlfriend’s phone just payed off. He wants her to meet him at the Red Bridge tonight at ten o’clock.”

It wasn’t a venue Kate was familiar with but, from the knowing look that Trudy shared with Hank, she could only assume that there was a case file somewhere with at least one member of the intelligence unit’s name attached and thankfully she didn't have to wait much longer before Hank confirmed her thoughts.

“Years back, Antonio got into some hot water with a diamond dealer.” Hank explained, casting a withering glare at Ruzek who looked as though Christmas had come early. “Case led us to a sex club called the Red Bridge.”

“A sex club?” Kate clarified, both brows lifting in surprise at the thought of the experienced ex-vice detective managing to get himself tangled in a web of debauchery that, given the nature of his day job, he was all too familiar with. 

“It’s a place where people go to have se-“

“Yeah, gathered that Ruz.” She interrupted with a roll of her eyes. “What I meant was what kind of sex club are we talking here?”

“Membership only.” Jay replied with a casual shrug, confirming her assumption that he had been one of the detectives leading point on the last undercover gig. “Light BDSM, swingers, power play…but mainly just Chicago’s elite paying a small fortune to indulge in their kink for voyuerism.”

It seemed that Chicago was no different to any other city she had policed over the last decade in that it was often the richest and most prominent members of society who deemed themselves important enough that they needn't be concerned with abiding by the law.

“I’m guessing that there’s a number of Chicago dignitaries on that membership list preventing us from getting a warrant?” She asked with a huff of irritation, shaking her head in disbelief when Hank dipped his chin into a nod. 

“Well this girl clearly means somethin’ to him if he’s meeting her instead’a gettin’ his ass  outta town.” Kevin said, folding his arms across his hulking chest and Kate had to admit, the same thought had crossed her own mind the moment Trudy mentioned Dolan’s  contact with his girlfriend. After narrowly avoiding capture on not one but two occasions, there weren’t many people who would chance their luck one more time in the name of a quick screw. 

“Clearly she’s the one if he’ll risk it all to have her with him.” Kim offered, a rosy blush staining her ivory cheeks when Adam glanced over at her with a wry smile, the two of them sharing a moment before Hank cleared his throat and Kim’s eyes dropped back to the floor. 

“That or he’s more of an idiot than we thought.” He grumbled, once again questioning his life choices when he caught Burgess and Ruzek sharing lovelorn looks at one another instead of focusing on the task at hand. “We’re gonna need to get some eyes inside.”

“Yeah but we’ve all been burned.” Jay said, scrubbing an irritated palm over his sweaty forehead. “Dolan’s gonna bolt the second he sets eyes on us.” 

“I haven’t.” 

Kate had been dropping off Alexis at daycare when Kevin, Adam and Kim had pinned Dolan down at a bar in Rogers Park and both she and Kevin had been watching the front of the house earlier when Jay and Hailey barricaded him in his backyard before he’d managed to flee. It wasn’t lost on Hank that this was the first time that Kate had willingly offered to take a UC assignment since the incident with Pulpo but he couldn’t be sure if it was because she was the only member of the unit Dolan wouldn’t recognise or because she genuinely felt ready but, regardless of her intentions, he was quick to dispel any discussion around the prospect of sending her in alone.

“You’re not going in solo.”

“Who said anything about going solo?” She retorted and for a moment he wondered if she was going to suggest drafting in young Torres for the assignment but, from the impish quirk of her lips, it soon became apparent just whom it was that she was suggesting as her UC partner. 

“How ‘bout it Sarg? For old time’s sake?”

Anything about Morgan’s background/anything?? He’s soo private I feel like I know he seems like a good egg (he better!) but truly nothing beyond that. Any girlfriends before Tessa? I’m so happy and excited for them!l

tessa & scott were the best part of the olympics for me growing up (except for hockey obvs) and morgan does seem like a really good guy. they seem like a very sweet couple, i'm happy for them too 🥰

so i went on a bit of a journey trying to find info on any exes of morgan's... he used to date a girl named christina in like 2017-2018ish (he started dating tessa in 2019/2020) who ran a blog called "alifesheloved" and apparently worked for the blue jays in some capacity? and was studying to get her PhD in something? she studied sociology and psychology at UPenn.

not quite sure as there's not a lot of info out there outside of old gossip/leafs blogs on here. apparently she deleted her socials bc people were harassing her, which really sucks.

tangent but - when it comes to gossip - it's best kept contained within private circles (i.e. on tumblr) - there's no need to harass WAGs or whomever else on their socials - it's fun to look and discuss from afar but no need to actually interact w the ppl in question imo.

as for mo's background - his family is originally from hamilton, ontario but he grew up in west vancouver, bc which is an extremely, extremely wealthy area.

in his elementary school days he played hockey & was a member at hollyburn country club (VERY fancy country club) with alex kerfoot, griffin reinhart, and sam reinhart. they're all childhood friends of his. morgan and griffin made sam play goalie while he was still in a carseat??? griffin and sam once set the room they played hockey in on fire????? wild stuff. source 1, source 2, source 3, source 4, source 5, source 6

Ok so im thinking way too much about the layout of these fucking menus (that will probably never exist. rip i guess.) so im just gonna list things out under the cut (its messy whoops) so please bear with me lol 😔😔

* RECORD puts the game into a 2.5D first person state where you can (obviously) record anything (which saves to a separate folder). Most cutscenes can’t be recorded, but some will let you. Some you have no choice but to record.

* TALK is also obvious lmao (TALKing can initiate certain cutscenes, and if(ex: when Tim and Jay team up) you want to talk to party members(or if they have something to say) you have to select TALK before doing so).

* INSPECT is, again, obvious, but doing it too much will negatively affect the (i dont have a better name for it rn lmao) Operator meter. Doing it too little and watch out. you’ll miss something and they’ll get you.

* INVENTORY. Do i even need to say anything lol The menu style will change according to who you’re playing as and what they’re currently using(ex: jay’s camera bag in #69) to store items. This also means the on-hand inventory quantity will change. Storage inventory(most of the time the cars) is for storing excess items.

* Health is health lol the other meter is the Operator meter. That fills up/ depletes and changes colors depending on exposure to The Events™️. The more filled the bar is, the more exposed the player is, the more black the meter is, is how affected the character is( ex: so in the final scene of #72, jay’s meter would be completely filled in, with only a hint or green while tim’s meter would be completely filled and about half red, maybe a little more red of anything. Now that im thinking abt it that entry would probably knock jay out of playable character for a little while too) the more affected the character, the less control the player has

* T key to swap to Tim, J key to swap to Jay, status bars and icons grow/shrink and move over to make room(im shit at explaining things but you can see what i mean in the two screens i made lol)

* When jay is on his own, his stats/icons are pretty much where they are in the first screen i made, theres just a tim shaped hole in the menu until he teams up with tim for real(jessica im sorry i know you technically team up with jay first but,, , its not for very long,,,)

* There would be tta minigames/segments (plus whatever the fuck brian/hoody is doing. we stay silly) during which those stats/icon are set up the same as jay’s(alone), stats would def be different from normal play but idk what they’d be lol havent thought about that too much yet tbh (maybe even a little alex minigame. As a treat :3)

* during the divorce separation, tim and jay’s icons/stats are still on screen, but swapping between the two is locked. you will be who you need to be when you need to be them.

* After jay dies, all his icons black out, but they linger around. Hes not exactly haunting the narrative per se, but hes always been like, something adjacent to that to me

* Any glitches and tearing that happen in game can be separate from glitching that happens in the menu and vice versa

* Font i used for talking is the yt captions font. Id probably use it for smaller text/some bg text/item desc., but the action menu is all drawn(idk what this style is but its oddly fitting in a weird kind of way)

Fort Heaven Chapter 1

Title: Fort Heaven

Synopsis: Some call it a hoax. Others claim it’s a cult. But, to Evon and his friend Yasmine, two online journalists, Fort Heaven is the subject of their latest story. Along for the assignment is cameraman and not-so-secret crush of Evon’s: Russet. With a drunken, murky night in their recent history, things are especially tense between them but, of course, personal matters take a backseat when the interviews start. The trio speaks to ex-members of Fort Heaven and, while some of the accounts are shocking, the job remains just that: A job. That is until one of the women they interviewed, along with her daughter, goes missing. It soon becomes clear that not only is Fort Heaven a real threat but Evon and his friends are being watched. And what started as a simple cash-grab article is now a matter of life and death.

Chapter 1

Blue light from the computer projected onto the face of Evon Sparks as he stared, blankly, at the digital clock waiting for the numbers to change. The second 2:23 turned to 2:24, he let out an exacerbated sigh. He’d been in his small, shared office space for three hours and still he was left with nothing—not even an inkling of an idea.

Genuine Tales was the name of a popular journaling company that came into fame because of its success on the internet with fad blogs and self indulging quizzes. Most writers in the company spent one or two weeks working on one piece and the more experienced writers worked on something new almost daily.

Evon had a deadline that he needed met. He needed at least an interesting topic to present by the end of the day and, depending on the topic, he’d get a week or more to complete it.

Under normal circumstances, he’d find this easy—even fun.

However, things had been stressful for Evon for some time now and it was clouding his creativity. He was sure his bosses were getting suspicious and possibly even thinking of firing him.

His eyes kept to the screen as another minute passed by. When he shifted focus, he could vaguely see his reflection and he could see the bags under his eyes. With a sigh, he looked to the side and shook his head a little forcefully in an effort to bring some sort of focus back.

For the past six months his older sister, Trinity, had been staying in his townhouse with him. He had nothing but love for his sister and while his stress was stemming from her, he still didn’t blame her or resent her. She needed him and he had faith in himself that he could juggle his work life and take care of her.

Trinity broke her foot quite some time ago and what seemed like an easy fix turned into a long stretch of doctor visits and ongoing lawsuits. Nothing was set in stone with the lawsuits though the legal aspect was out of Evon’s hands. It was too much for him to take on, his sister had told him.

With her jewelry store temporarily closed and medical bills piling up, Trinity had no choice but to move out of her apartment and stay with her brother.

Evon rubbed over his eyes before letting his body go limp, halfway sliding out of his chair. There he was again—thinking about personal issues instead of focusing on work.

The cycle had been relentless since he started to notice a decrease in his money. He was completely dependent on his stories being successful and—if he wasn’t writing anything good—he was losing money.

With a low grumble, Evon sunk further down making his jacket slip up and off of his back. His arms stayed up by the arm rests while most of his lower body was crumpling onto the floor.

He heard the sound of footsteps but made no effort to move. Anyone who worked with him would expect a scene like that.

“What in the hell are you doing?” The deep, almost raspy voice of his best friend and co-worker echoed through the small room.

Evon moved to look up and he met her eyes. Yasmine towered over him, casting a rather large shadow, and placed her hands on her hips. She’d always been taller than him but from that angle she seemed like a giant. She certainly had the power of one and wasn’t nearly as gentle as most hoped.

Luckily for Evon, Yasmine had a soft spot for him.

She reached her hands down and, slowly, he grabbed onto her. Despite holding on, he made absolutely no further effort to stand which led to him being pulled the rest of the way onto the floor and partially dragged.

“Oh, come on,” Yasmine scolded—or at least tried to. It was hard to take her seriously when she started to laugh.

“I don’t want to be an adult,” Evon said with a pout causing her to shake her head.

“Do I look like I want to?”

She raised a good point. Just a year older than him, Yasmine didn’t look much like a woman in her mid to late twenties. She didn’t look much like a teenager either though. Her height and build both showed her adulthood while her face and hair looked adolescent. There weren’t many workplace rules about appearance and she took full advantage of that and wore a new hair cut and color almost monthly.

This month she had shaved sides and a bright pink tuft of hair sweeping down just to meet her brow. She had a few piercings but rarely wore them all at once and that day was no different. Other than a nose ring and earrings, she was without any jewelry.

Evon envied her confidence in that area since he’d thought of doing something dramatic to his appearance since he was a teen but never had the courage to follow through with it. He didn’t even have a piercing despite constantly being told that they aren’t necessarily permanent.  Then, the one time he went into a parlor for a tattoo he ended up running away before the artist could even convince him of a design.

It was the idea of something irreversible that bothered him although, according to Yasmine, it was because he was a crybaby and couldn’t handle pain.

“Do you have anything…?” Evon asked once he actually cooperated with his friend and stood up. He let go of her hand and straightened out his clothes.

“Actually,” she started with a growing smirk, “I think I do.”

Her tone made him perk up—she sounded pretty sure of herself. “Oh? Tell me, tell me!”

Yasmine chuckled and raised a finger before retreating back into her side of the office. She didn’t go far before walking back with a small stack of papers in her hands.

“This.”

“What is it?” Evon asked and stepped closer.

“I found a conspiracy theory online,” she began and scanned over the page, “I think it’s a good foundation.”

“Conspiracy?” He reeled back, unsatisfied with the answer. “So you want to just rip off of other people’s material to make a story?”

Yasmine dramatically rolled her eyes before continuing, “No, it’s not ripping off of anyone’s story. There is only a small following behind the conspiracy and most people who have seen it think it’s completely off the wall crazy. So, if we do a paper breaking down everything about it—especially for those interested who want all the bulletin points in one article…”

It was clear she was excited by the idea but Evon wasn’t sold. He was hurting for ideas, sure, but he didn’t want to do anything that would cheapen his career. Even if most of his stories were ridiculous in nature, he still stayed away from gossip and pointless theories.

“What’s it about?” he asked despite his negative feelings.

“Okay so,” Yasmine took a breath and started to paraphrase the document, “You remember Ford Hyland? The scandal with his wife?”

“The weird cult stuff from five years ago?” Evon questioned with his confusion clear in his voice.

The musician Ford Hyland was well known as a rock star before the scandal five years ago. It almost entirely ruined his career and turned his name into an automatic association to a somewhat underground cult. When he and his wife divorced, his wife publicly made statements about the weird, religious organization that her husband was in and divulged into some rather odd stories.

She said there had been blackmail, imprisonment, and she even alluded to possible murder.

Some were empathetic to her tale but others saw it as just a way to stay in the spotlight after splitting with her famous husband.

For the most part, no one talked about that old, used up story so the fact Yasmine seemed so sure of it’s success was a little odd. Usually she was even more up to speed with the moment’s trend than he was.

“Yes!” The woman explained and waved the papers around.

Evon countered her excitement by calmly sitting back at his computer desk. It wasn’t that he didn’t believe in her but he just was not feeling whatever it was that she was.

“And then Ford went on TV saying he didn’t have anything to do with Fort Heaven and it was just a stupid cult that losers from the eighties still clung to. Remember that?”

“Uh huh.” Evon looked to Yasmine with a curious expression but she ignored him in favor of divulging further. “The real Ford was ASSASSINATED and replaced with a doppelganger that people believe is named Gerald Walters—”

“Wait,” he stopped her mid-breath so she couldn’t get a chance to keep going, “how do these people know who the doppelganger is?”

Yasmine lowered the pages and her mouth remained ever so slightly agape as she searched her recent memories for answers. When she came out blank, she admitted, “I don’t know.”

“It’s clearly clickbait bullshit,” he remarked with a dry laugh before spinning around in his chair and returning to his laptop.

That didn’t stop Yasmine from following him and stepping into his line of sight again. “That doesn’t matter,” she said as she passed the papers over to him whether he liked it or not. “It’s interesting. It will get hits—and that’s what we need, man—HITS.”

“You don’t even buy into it, do you?” Evon asked as he glanced up at her. All of her energy was going toward the issue they both were stuck with. They needed money.

“It doesn’t matter what I think,” she said and relaxed her shoulders. “If we can get some interesting anecdotes or an interview with Ford even…”

“Think he’d even agree to that?” Evon laughed as he asked, already imagining how well that would go over.

Yasmine shrugged as she leaned against his desk. “What the hell else does he have going on?”

He nodded slightly in agreement though he still didn’t believe the man would ever take an interview with them. Especially not about the event that ruined his career—even if it was to, ironically, revive his career.

But it was worth a shot.

“Better this than nothing,” Evon surrendered. As far away as the piece was from what he would like to do, it was still something.

His friend pumped her fist in the air. “Yuss!” She whipped out her phone, tapped the screen a few times before placing it on the desk.

Evon leaned forward and read the name ‘Gavin McKeen’ on the screen. He was their direct superior and, naturally, the person who approved of their pieces or denied them.

Gavin didn’t own the company but he was friends with the creators so talking to him was, sometimes, no different than talking to the CEOs. A lot of the writers—especially part time freelancers—were terrified of him for some reason. The man had a lot of reason to be smug and demeaning but he wasn’t and, rather, tended to encourage and root for newer writers.

“Heellllo?” Their boss drew out. The sound of wind was in the background, letting both Evon and Yasmine know that he was driving.

“Hey Gavin,” Yasmine took the lead, “I think Evon and I have got a pretty good joint piece…”

“Joint?” he questioned immediately.

“Yeah,” she replied, “if it’s approved it might take a little bit of time to complete. We’d have to conduct at least two interviews so…”

“You can’t just research?” Gavin asked, sounded a bit taxed.

“We could but the story would come out flat and pointless,” Evon answered, “there’s gotta be new information that only we can provide.”

He and Yasmine traded glances before they both looked back to the phone. Their boss was taking a suspiciously long time to answer.

“…Sir?” Yasmine called out after another second.

“Pitch it to me,” he got straight to the point.

Evon caught his friend’s gaze again and she looked as though she wanted him to explain. He shook his head and vigorously pointed to her and then to the phone. She let out a silent sigh and agreed while Evon continued to urge her to speak.

“Alright,” she said, “Not long ago, Ford Hyland was accused by his wife of being in an insane cult which he denied. He even smeared the ‘church’s’ name and some people suspect that the church had him killed and then replaced him. There are accounts showing the physical differences between the Ford then and the Ford now and his singing changes—everything.”

When she finished there was silence.

Evon didn’t look away from the phone and didn’t dare breathe. Whether he liked the plan or not, he still didn’t want to be rejected.

“Well…” Gavin finally spoke, “it’s a strange thing to write about…but many blogs and journalists are bringing back old topics and rehashing things. That’s the cool new thing to do and many of our readers and subscribers probably haven’t even heard of this story before.”

Both leaned in toward the phone and Yasmine asked, “So…is that an approval…?”

Another agonizing few seconds passed before their boss said, “Yes. I approve.”

“Yes!” she yelled and threw her arms up as Evon stood from his chair to high-five her.

“Don’t celebrate just yet,” Gavin interrupted them, “I’ll give you a week to convince me it’s going to be good and then we’ll talk real deadlines. If you two don’t get a good one this time…I may have to bump you down to part time.”

“We won’t disappoint,” Evon assured with a grin. “Promise.”

The man laughed. “Well alright. See you in a week.”

When the line went dead both Evon and Yasmine let out huge sighs of relief. Then, as Evon really soaked in what just happened, he froze.

“What?” Yasmine noticed right away.

“Why did I promise that?” he asked in a low voice, “Why did I promise that it was going to be good?”

“Cause it is,” she remarked and nudged him with her elbow. “You never break your promises, Evon.”

Some Ex headcanons

Ex wasn't the first "Keeper of Dimensions" to have existed. There have been a few Keepers that were doing their duty before him.

Ex was conceived out of wedlock (his parents ended up having a shotgun wedding).

The "X" mark in his hair is a birthmark, and is also what gave him his name.

When Ex was very young, he always wanted to be a space cadet and pretty much loved space stuff in general.

He met O in his childhood, the latter having fallen from the sky when they met. Even though he was technically a pet, O was treated like a sibling to Ex. His curiosity as to where O possibly came from is what sparked the idea of creating the Starship Tetra early on in his kingship.

Ex learned how to play Tetris from the previous Tetris King, and was constantly training with him until he surpassed him in a tournament.

He pretty much sees his crew as his family, not because of his home life - his parents were okayish with raising him - but rather due to how most of the members were taken aboard in the first place. Ai, Jay, and Elle were taken in during times of need, his daughter Ess was pretty much raised on the Tetra ever since she was a baby, and Tee joined after his first battle (and loss) with him as he wanted to train his skills (and pretty much looks up to him as a father figure and idol).

Aside from space, Ex also loves flowers and had so since he was a child, which may have influenced the appearance of his Revolution spell.

Ex is middle-aged and is in his early fourties'.

Ever since he started living at the Edge of Space-Time, Ex became a light sleeper and also started to sleep standing up (I imagine the ground there would be uncomfortable for him to sleep laying down).

Ex's wife was never a member of the Tetra Crew since she's not too big into space. Since it has been years since anyone on the Tetra met her, no one knows her current whereabouts, if she's even alive at all.

He is immortal in the sense that his power as Keeper of Dimensions allows him to not be able to die from illnesses and not needing to sustain himself, but he can still age.

Ever since the events of Puyo Puyo Tetris, the Tera Crew make it a point to visit him annually. The Watchers of the Worlds started to do the same following Chapter EX of the sequel, and Squares especially looks forward to it every year.

Ex did send reports to someone with O, but no one knows who to.

Ex has trouble grasping to the idea of social media.

He remembers many things within his life up to him first meeting O as a child. It's just that no one asks about it.

Hey Eri I just wanna say that I love you Failed Revolution AU so much!

Also I thought of a bit of a concept but I'm still fleshing it out more so its just me being silly while rambling- Anyway:

Artemis sees how much Vinyl City is affected by the Failed Revolution attempt and realizes that something needs to be done, so she convinces her friends aka Garden of Thorns (which consist of Percy the lead singer, Singel the lead guitarist, Sodapop, bass player, Sylvie, keytarist, Olive aka my NSR sona who's also the drummer, and Maxie, the manager of the band and former drummer) who are looking for an opportunity to make a name for themselves since they're a Punk Rock band to help her finish the Revolution and knock some sense into Tatiana that she can't continue her distain of hating certain music genres (such as rock-). So the band and Artemis come to town and they're ready to face off against NSR and do what BBJ couldn't do, which is finish the Revolution once and for all!

(I hope you like this silly little idea of mine even though it's not canon I came up with it just for fun-)

Oh I really like this! Honestly, this is giving me ideas of the Re-Revolution being an ACTUAL revolution with MULTIPLE bands coming together to fight back against NSR and make Vinyl City a place for the people again!

Bands like Ex-Jay, Garden of Thorns, and my OC Band I have yet to name (along with single artists like West and other rappers who follow him) could all come together and actually be a force to mess with against Tatiana!

It would have to be quick and pretty succinct for it to work because I feel like once Tatiana catches wind of a new revolution she would try to crush it as fast as she could.

Each band could go up against a Megastar, on equal terms, so that Tatiana has no way of saying that the highjackings were unfair and not representative of the people!

Ex-Jay VS. 1010

West VS. Eve

I don't know who your band would go against, maybe Yinu (just going off the name) or possibly Sayu, while my my OC band who I will one day show off, would go against whichever one yours doesn't fight.

I honestly doubt DJSS would put up much of a fight. Or he could have been doing a collab with any of the other artists at the time of the re-revolution (maybe 1010, maybe Yinu idk). Either that or another band could step up.

Honestly... I would love to see some of the old Goolings, the Grove of Master Musicians, and/or Mystery Man step out of the shadows to help this re-revolution because of just how toxic it is to all music.

Considering that Vinyl City is the music capital of the world, and the world runs on music, fully banning any genre would probably have a detrimental effect on other cities who follow Vinyl City's footsteps. And these older generation of musicians would step out of retirement (or out of the shadows of NSR for Mystery Man) to try and bring balance to the music world.

So Tatiana would have a LOT to deal with. Honestly, it would be nice to see her try and fight alongside her Megastars. I doubt all the Megastars would be playing on the exact same day, but they would be playing much closer to each other since more power is going to be needed so more concerts will happen closer to each other.

Even though it would be nice for her to fight alongside the Megastars, I doubt it would actually happen, or be beneficial to the potential gameplay of this. Since if you defeat a Megastar with Tatiana there, then Tatiana is defeated. So she would probably still be the final boss, with B2J leading the way (mainly as figureheads and the fact that they told each band how to fight the Megastar they were fighting) to fight against Tatiana.

Tatiana would have to face the old generation of music (and her ex-bandmates) along with the new generation of music (and any future generation that decided to help, like Yiruk's band). This would bring to light that Tatiana was Kul Fyra (if the Gooling members hadn't already exposed that) and make her face her own actions.

Possibly even some of the Megastars show up to help support the Re-Revolution (or at least advocate for change). Neon and 1010 would definitely be there, so would Yinu who snuck out and away from Mama, and maybe DJSS. (Mama would end up at the fight somehow, probably after all the real fighting is done and the talking/heart to hearts start happening, and finally she gets to hear how miserable and hate-filled Yinu has gotten)

If Eve was there, she would probably be still fighting alongside Tatiana (but would change sides after talking with Zuke). I don't know about Sayu in this scenario, I could see the Crew coming as themselves, abandoning Sayu for the moment to speak up about all the toxic things that have been happening around them and how scared they are about the future. How they don't want to be a part of what NSR is becoming.

In the end I think this could be the change that NSR needs. I don't know if Tatiana would be willing to step down, but I think, after hearing all of this she would be willing to change things. Massive reforms, bringing on new people to help manage the company, listening to the people once and for all.

Even getting more/new charters of different music genres to help run the city properly. No longer would it be one charter for each district with a bunch of smaller artists under them, but like at least 2 charters who share responsibility and keep the other in check (along with keeping the other districts in check as well).

Yinu, DJSS, and Neon would quit. Eve would probably step away for a bit and come back later, Sayu's Crew would stay in the company but work on backup plans/life. Maybe Ex-Jay and Garden of Thorns become charters. Possibly West and B2J will join NSR as representatives, or at the very least be the voice for the people.

Omg I can't believe I made a happy-ish ending for this AU. I don't know if this is ACTUALLY how I want it to play out, but if other bands do come and start a new revolution then this is how I see it working. Otherwise, I don't see a single band having enough power to truly stop NSR unless it is years later when NSR is starting to internally collapse, or if there is inside help (like from Mystery Man, Kliff, or Neon).

But thank you for making me think of other bands who would be willing to help! It really made me think of whole new scenarios that I was not even considering beforehand!

Elle’s Updated BC Ranking

Since there have been some, ahem, shakeups in the BC line up, it’s time for their most prolific hater to revamp her ranking. Thus, the newest iteration of the Bullet Club, ranked from best to worst by the Number One Jay White Hater, leader of the Spite Jay White Agenda, and of the SBC:

(note: I am going off their wikipedia article for the current members, but I skipped Chase Owens)

1. Pieter (I need not explain. I am simply correct.)

2. Kenta (he is my buddy. just a neat little guy)

3. Taiji Ishimori (cute horrible man with his cute dog and I’m heart eyes at him)

4. Chris Bey (he was really nice to me when I met him and Ace at the Impact tapings, so he has rights now, he’s my buddy like Kenta is)

5. Ace Austin (I’m in love with him. He is my husband.)

6. Yujiro Takahashi (he was funny on vintage bte and the least annoying member of HOT from the little I’ve seen. But like it’s HOT so that’s not necessarily saying much)

7. Dick Togo (I know literally nothing about him he’s just an old man that’s in this evil stable)

8. Clark Connors (he’s funny and I enjoyed him pre-BC, but not enough to overlook his membership and heel tactics now. we must be enemies, former rhino man)

9. Evil (his name is literally Evil. He’s evil. What else is there to say?)

10. Gedo (this old man is pulling all the strings, just like Kevin Kelly keeps saying on commentary during bosj. he poisons bright young stars)

11. Sho (YOH’S TOXIC EX BOYFRIEND)

12. Bad Luck Fale (HE MURDERED DARYL)

Not Ranked: David Finlay (I still. haven’t figured out how to feel about him. Do I root for him because I hate Jay, or do I hate him because he’s in BC now? Which did I hate first, Jay or BC? Which do I hate more?)

I still spite the Bullet Club, but. It’s just. Not the same as spiting Jay.

Perhaps the only person more stunned than fans to find out who would be ascending the stairway to heaven at the end of PORT CHARLES' recently-concluded book, Secrets, was the seat filler herself--Julie Pinson (Eve).

"I found out right about the time when Ian and Eve were havinga lot of problems," the original cast member reveals, admitting that the plot twist was completely unexpected. "Honestly, I hadn't even thought about it! I didn't really feel that I was all that involved in the angel storyline."

A Moment of Silence

Althought Eve's friends and family still are struggling to deal with her untimely death, Pinson has had time to adjust, if not go through a public mourning. "We filmed my death on February 11, but it had to be kept secret," the actress says. "Of course, the whole cast and crew knew, so how are you going to keep it a secret? But that was the whole point of this story."

So hush-hush was Eve's demise that her portrayer never really suspected that her alter ego was bound for the great hereafter. "Normally you don't kill off your heroine," she explains. "You kill someone else. You kill the bad guy."

Pinson hopes to follow fellow PC alum Lisa Ann Hadley (ex-Julie) into primetime.

Moving on

Before Eve's body had time to grow cold, Pinson was hot on the trail of her next gig. "It's weird, because I still have to wake up at 5 a.m. every day. I've still got to get my butt in gear and find another job, because my first thought when I got the news was, 'Oh crap, I just bought a house!"

"I need a vacation," she adds, "but that's the last thing on my mind right now!"

Instead, she's pounding the pavement. "I'm doing pilot season and autidioning for films, which is exciting for me. I've never really done pilot season before. It's eye-opening, but nice to be getting my name out there."

Crossing Over

Although Pinson is a big fan of the East Coast ("I love New York!"), she'd just as soon not have to give up her lovely, newly-purchased home. "Who knows what may happen in the future, but for right now, I'd like to stay in L.A.," says the born-and-bred California girl. "I've never had to deal with snow!"

But, should the bright lights of the Big Apple beckon her, she will answer the call. "There are a lot of things to love about New York," she admits. "the shopping... and being able to walk everywhere. Nobody walks in L.A.!"

Pinson and Jay Pickett (Frank), with Ion Overman (ex-Gabriela), were among PC's few remaining original cast members.

Gone, But Not Forgotten

Meanwhile, though her run as Eve may have come to an abrupt end, that doesn't mean that Pinson wouldn't welcome another chance to strut her stuff in daytime. "I love soaps," she says. "It's a wonderful way to have a life and stay in one place, as opposed to being a vagabond, which can happen when you're making films. You have a job to go to every day, doing what you love."

So, as Pinson prepares for the future, she offers a few parting thoughts to her PC followers. "I really want to thank the fans for being so supportive over the years. We all grew up together, and they watched me go through my good times and my bad tims, and stuck by me."

Considering the fact that angels and vampires have made regular appearances in Port Charles, could Eve someday join the undead parade? "Hey, you never know," Pinson says with a laugh, "Never say never!"
