stopp bc with all the shirtless pics with jude at the beach i can just imagine like you and jude are in the ocean and the furthest from everyone and just in ur own little world wrapped up in each other and rubbing noses against each other just so much kissing and all that 🫶🏽 and then when u guys get out the water jude being the little freak he is pressed his wet hand on the sand and just slaps ur ass so his handprint is there with the sand so it stands out more 😭😭

“stop,” you laughed loudly, shoved at jude’s chest to get him to stop kissing you, his own laugh light and teasing. “seriously!” his arms around your waist kept you glued to his body, the ocean water lapping around you both and making it even harder to wiggle free. he didn’t let up on his kisses, pressing his lips to every bit of skin he could reach.

“let me love on you, woman.” he grumbled, biting playfully at your ear lobe, tugging until you were batting at his chest and dipping your head. his hands slipped along your waist from the water and you managed to free yourself a little from his hold, trying to fight more giggles at his look of disappointment.

“i wanna go get a drink.”

“can’t you wait a bit?” jude asked, lips pouted as he brought one hand up to cup your cheek. he used his thumb to swipe away a droplet of water, his other arm circling back around your waist. he held you loose this time, gave you the space to pull free if you wanted.

“no, i’m thirsty. and going all wrinkly.” you lifted your hand from where you’d been holding his arm and wriggled your fingers. the skin had started to wrinkle from the length of time you and your boyfriend had been in the water and it made your brows crinkle in annoyance.

jude circled his fingers around your wrist and kissed each of your fingertips, eyes locked on yours. “i love your pruney fingers.” that earned him a jab between his eyebrows and again you pulled free of his embrace. this time you started out towards the beach, not waiting to see if he was following behind. he was, his arms splashing water up against your back as payback for cutting his kissing session short.

you’d barely made it onto the sand, had only taken a few steps towards your group of friends when his hand came down on your ass. the slap wasn’t hard, nothing like he usually delivered, yet it still made you yelp, the sting still evident as you turned a glare on the boy behind you. your friends all watched with open mouths as he grinned innocently at you, held up his sand covered hand and wiggled his fingers.

“did you just slap me?”

“couldn’t help myself.” jude coughed out a laugh, eyes darting between your face and your ass as you turned and tilted your head to look. his large hand print covered one cheek, pressed into your skin with sand and you didn’t know whether to laugh or slap him back. “it was practically begging me to, babe.”

he watched you with a grin as you turned to walk away from him, his gaze glued to his artwork. trying not to laugh he bent and pressed his other into the sand, following up behind you. he was pushing his luck, he knew that, but the adorable glare you sent him when you were annoyed always made him fall in love that little bit more. for the second time his hand came down on your ass, a tiny bit harder this time and he revelled in the yell of his name and the way your hand whacked into his stomach.

“c’mon, had to make it even.”

a weekend trip to jeju-do meant that your little apartment was now stocked up with a whole carton of tangerines enough to last you a whole month. naturally, you’ve learned to get creative with it. cake, sorbet, marmalade– you name it, you’ve probably already done it.

maybe that’s why you’ve resorted to scrolling through pinterest for ideas. all you’ve found so far are just even more variants of the aforementioned desserts.

you sigh, looking up from your spot in the kitchen. seungkwan’s seated on the sofa, nose buried deep in a book he bought at the jeju airport before your flight back earlier this morning. it may have been 4pm now, but his hair is still a little mussed from accidentally taking a nap in the plane earlier. you giggle to yourself, inwardly cooing over how your boyfriend looks like a teddy bear.

oh. a light bulb dings in your mind.

this time, you carefully carve out a little bear head, arms and feet out of the peel. it sticks out of the tangerine like a little round teddy bear.

“seungkwan!”

the pitter-patter of your feet causes him to look up from his book, nestled comfortably on the sofa. setting aside the book, he gestures you to take a seat next to him.

you tuck in your legs under you on the sofa, all while balancing a plate with your hands. the sweet scent of tangerines flood his senses. you’re grinning at him, proudly showing off your latest work of art as you extend the plate towards him.

“is that a bear?” you nod enthusiastically.

he tilts his head as he takes the plate from you, rotating it and examining the poor tangerine from all angles. he scrunches his nose and frowns, much like a highly-established critic judging actual artworks. it doesn’t take long for him to break out into a grin as big as yours.

he holds the tangerine-bear to his face. “how is it? do we match?”

“100%!”

“aigo, our y/nnie is such a talented artist!!” he balances the plate on one hand, swinging his free arm around you to pull you into a hug.

“–eek!”

the sudden momentum causes you both to fall back on the sofa, you landing on top of him. it’s a miracle that the plate hasn’t spilled over, you think.

your little yelp draws a giggle from seungkwan, and soon enough, you’re both doubled over with laughter.

laughter finally bubbling down, you pull yourself away from seungkwan’s cozy embrace. you take the plate from seungkwan and set it down on the coffee table in front of you.

“did you like it?”

he leans in to plant a peck on your cheek. “it’s adorable. i love it.”

“great, because i made like five more in the kitchen!”

his jaw comically drops at your words, and it only serves to make you laugh even harder. instead, he chooses to wipe your diabolical grin with a kiss, effectively silencing you. he grabs onto your waist, pulling you in once again as he leaned back down on the sofa. wrapping your arms around his neck, you can only succumb to his addictive lips as they chase after yours fervorously.

is this what they call to ‘love to the point of invention’? you shrug off such a silly thought. surely that’s not marvel enough to be called an invention of love.

maybe you’ll try making tanghulu tomorrow.

drew the colorgang and purple as my magical girl ocs that i still need to post more about (hence the niche audience). i also did this all in basically one sitting instead of working on coursework so there's that too

individual characters and brief thinky thoughts under the cut

i tried to match the characters based on color, if it'd been vibes i wouldn't have gotten this done so fast sdklkld

blue as crystal (honestly given that in my story crystal's transformation object is connected to kindness blue really fits, the two of them would get along well)

yellow as adelise (sorry yellow i don't have a magical girl with ur color, but the pink looks good, i do also like how i did her hair)

green as john (i thought of this idea and then realized the top hat combined with the greencler trend in the ava community and promptly exploded)

purple as star (hey fun fact john and star wind up in a relationship in story so technically that could be grapedu- *is tackled away from mic*)

red as drake (ough knowing plot stuff i just know red would be not happy with drake's situation early in the story i can't say more cuz spoilers)

second as avalon (again, no orange. but honestly storywise this does fit, plus they look adorable in the dress)

And you were a huge art inspiration and one of the reasons I still draw today, and while I was younger and in a not so great situation watching your speed paints helped me through a lot of it, so I wanted to say thank you! It's not weird at all! Thank you for taking the time to send me such a thoughtful message! It's crazy that youve stuck around for so long, and I'm touched to hear that my art inspired you that much!! One of the biggest things I want for my art is to be able to reach other people and connect to them on an emotional level-- that's always been really important to me! So messages like these really make me feel like it's still worth doing. I know for me, seeing other artists'v process and not just the final, polished pieces helps motivate me a lot with my own! I pour a lot of my emotions into my artwork and see it as a part of my own identity. Honestly, I've been struggling a lot with both my art and depression these past few months-- recently I feel like I'm constantly fighting myself and questioning whether what I'm doing is worth it or good enough. HELLO i’ve been a huge fan of ur artworks ever since 2021/ur pjsk works which i still really adore, i really love how shapey u draw & i was wondering if u have any tips or if u have any inspirations for being able to draw such fluidity within ur works ? if that makes sense !!! idk but mainly just wanted to say i really love all of ur art so much 💝💝💝

to preface this may not be very specific but i hope you can still derive some level of perspective of how i go about things i guess maybe it partly comes down to trying to be loose with it...? if i'm sketching with the intention of making it a full drawing then those sketches are usually rough and very messy. you can always make changes later, trust the process and whatnot, but once u have that energy that's something u can keep working off of.. like for a few things i drew back then i just immediately went into the colors without a sketch and that's still something that i do sometimes. and also i abuse the selection/transform tool like crazy HAHAH. i just move & redraw & stretch things until they look interesting. if you can be loose and have fun with it that's the key 2 unlocking your brain, which is what i am still forever trying to do. oh and curved lines r life...

in terms of inspirations for fluidity in particular there's a number of them but i think yuji uekawa's sonic art (particularly from the 90s-00s) and similar such works are the probably the most significant to mention. endless love in my <3 for this sort of stuff:

i draw sonic so much more than i post whoops but he just has a natural dynamism inherent to his design so i'd say most of the energy you might be getting from my stuff is what i picked up from drawing him a hundred times and then that maybe rubbing off on whatever else i draw or me trying to channel him LOL.

literally quaking over the fact that in a few hours, arcane is over. like ive spent the past 2-3 years obsessing over the artwork that is this show.

im still really excited for future runeterra projects but truly i will miss arcane. this show got me out of the depths of despair when i finished atla/tlok

the characters, the animation, the dynamics. its all so gorgeous. is it perfect? no, but s2 has rocked me to my core. i just want a satisfying (AND HOPEFULLY HAPPY) ending for everyone, esp my pookies (cait, vi, ekko, jinx, and mel). they will forever be faves of mine.

it has one of my favorite sapphic (situation)ships in media of all time. THE YEARNING. THE PINING. THE TENSION. no one does it like them. 😭😭 korrasami (the og red and blue gays 🫡) crawled through the trenches so caitvi could fucking sprint into the sunset. i need to see caitlyn on her knees begging for vi’s forgiveness, and ik theyre argument from the trailer is gonna go crazyy. its wild how far weve come in terms of sapphic rep in shows. its so bittersweet just knowing i started watching this show for them and now theyre finally fucking canon. like canon canon. like kiss on the mouth canon type shit. thirteen year old me would be QUAKING. thanks to whoever made those compilations of those useless lesbians on youtube, ur a real one 🫶🫶.

can i just say that the show’s theme on love is so beautiful. like ik its the theme in a lot of shows but they way arcane presents it is just so AJSJSJSJD. cuz like with other shows it usually focuses on romantic love but in arcane its whether is platonic, familial, or romantic, love is what holds us together and breaks us apart.

why does caitlyn lose herself in a quest for revenge?? for love of her mother.

but what ill really miss though is the fandom. i watched the show early 2022 but the only fandom interaction i had was through yt (boo strict parents :c) and none of my friends watch this show so its nice seeing other people fangirl over new content. sure, there may be a few people with insane takes on the characters and plot (myself included) but arcane tumblr has been one of my favorite parts of my chaotic time on the internet. all of the s2 speculations, corny ass memes, adorable fanfics, gorgeous fanart, and the collective agreement to not watch the s2 leaks. ill especially miss arcane newswatch, reminding us, for the better part of over 1000 days, that there is no news.

Baru April kemarin aku coba motret lagi dan saking lamanya ga motret aku ga nemu feel-nya disitu. No...no..Oh no... It's not that I'm uncomfortable...no..its just that its makes me reaaaaaaaaaaally really shy for some reason...in short, I'm not ready. Maybe if its super slight NSFW (take my keith art for example) I'd go for it ;D
